Louis shuffles into his bedroom, exhausted after another long shift. All he wants to do is fall into bed.

There’s just two problems:

1. His white linen sheets appear to be soaked in someone else’s blood.

2. His stupid ex-boyfriend is perched atop the mess, with remnants of said blood running down his chin.

His stupid ex-boyfriend Harry, who also happens to be a vampire. Which brings Louis back to problem one.

(Or the one where Louis has to deal with his obnoxious vampire ex, but not everything is always as it seems).

1D Trick Or Treat Fest 2023! 

Can you believe this is our fifth year?! We're super excited for another spooky round of this frightening mini-fest of One Direction ficlets that helps us celebrate our favourite holiday season - Halloween 🎃👻🕷

Rules:

Participants must be 18 years+.

Word count must be exactly 666 words long when posted to AO3.

Ficlet should have a clear Halloween or spooky/scary theme.

Must include at least one member of One Direction.

Any rating/pairing is allowed and content is not moderated, but please tag submissions appropriately. 

This fest is not anonymous.

Authors can submit more than one ficlet, but each ficlet must be a stand-alone story to meet the challenge.

No sign-ups. If you would like to take part, simply post your ficlet to the AO3 collection no later than midnight (your time) on Sunday 29th October.

Panda's Podfics - Halloween Special

excited to announce that this year's Halloween Special will be in collaboration with the one and only @1dtrickortreatfest!

Participation

first things first; your fic(s) featuring in the Special is completely voluntary. Just because you submit a fic to the collection, doesn't mean you're automatically included. This also means in turn, if you want to be featured, please fill out this form.

Publishing

The Halloween Special episode will be published on the 31st of October (please be lenient if it ends up being the 1st of November). It will be available on Apple Podcast/Spotify, as well as for on-site streaming and as download (MediaFire) from AO3. Disclaimer: I won't be linking every individual fic to my AO3 post and instead just refer to the fest as a whole. Similarly, I will only tag the most common tags across all recorded works. Hope you understand. The podfic post for the episode will include links to all the featured fics and @ the author's tumblr (if available). The episode will also be promoted on Twitter.

Recording

The individual reading of your fic will include: - title/author - rating - [warning only if it's marked for MCD and/or Violence] - 2-3 of the most important tags/potential TWs* - fic (*you're welcome to let me know which of your tags you'd like to have included, otherwise I will choose at my own discretion.) If you gave permission to be featured, I will get started on recording your fic ASAP after you submit it to the collection. You're also welcome to send the fic to me directly via pandaspodfics@gmail.com - please make sure to include everything on the aforementioned list.

I know that Life™️ happens, but if you know you'd like to be part of the special, and have the opportunity, I kindly ask to not leave submitting your fic until the last minute. I will do my best to have the episode done in time, but it can be aided by you submitting your fics as early as possible. Thank You!

Bringing you a sixth spine-chilling round of our frightening mini-fest of One Direction ficlets, filled with all the eerie and ominous tricks and treats we've come to love from our fabulous writers. And for the first time, we're fortunate to offer a collaboration with @pandapodfics for interested participants 🎃👻🕷

He’d only been able to nip off for naps between soundcheck and their shows so he’d have enough energy to perform properly. But just barely. Now, with two days off and a plush king size bed calling his name for the first time in weeks, Louis needed to catch up on sleep.
