OMG! Are people really that dumb and insensitive?? Yes, we all are sad, we all are mourning over his death, but you just can't blame Maya Henry, his ex-fiancée and his victim, for his death. Remember he was a drug addict, an abuser. he abused Maya, making her life a nightmare when she was just 18/19 years old. His death was not her fault. It's possible to feel sad for the person he was and still hold him accountable for his actions. Saddest part is his victims may never get the justice they deserve.

Remember, you are grieving the 16 year-old boy from a band who was a big part of your childhood, not the man he became.

Nobody knows me baby, the way you do

Daniel looks up from his phone as Max walks towards the bed, sleepily rubbing one of his eyes, t-shirt already discarded somewhere.

"Hey," he murmurs, shifting to make more space for him under the duvet, "all done streaming?"

Max hums, plugging in his phone and climbing into bed, immediately curling around Daniel, head in his lap, and closing his eyes. As always, Daniel thinks that with a tail and some purring he'd indistinguishable from his cats.

"Are you okay?" he asks, starting to card his fingers through Max's hair, lips curling up at the way he goes pliant, slightly nuzzling his cheek against Daniel's thigh.

It's not unusual for Max to be this cuddly when tired and in private, but he's usually a little more chatty than this, especially after a stream with his friends.

"Tired," Max grumbles. Then, after a pause, "car is shit."

It makes Daniel chuckle, the Max-ness of it.

"I know, baby."

God knows Max has ranted long enough for Daniel to understand just how shit the rb20 is, even if he's not the one driving it. (Yet). (Hopefully).

There's another long silence, Daniel going back to his phone to give Max time to sort out his thought and say whatever else is on his mind.

"I read your article. About me." Max doesn't open his eyes, but Daniel can see a blush bloom on his cheeks and ears.

It's not what Daniel was expecting, but he still smiles, pleased. He know what he said, and he knows he would say it all over again. A love letter, Blake had huffed, rolling his eyes. Daniel hadn't denied it.

"Did you like it?"

Max's cheek drags against his leg as he nods, before he pushes himself to a sitting position, not enough sleepiness clinging to his eyes to dampen their intensity.

"Thank you, Daniel."

Daniel smiles, understanding all the things Max is not saying, all the things he's thanking him for. He knows this is a love letter too, in a Max way.

A love post-it note, stuck to him with the kiss Max drags him into.
