172023 hyouryuu kyoushitsu // 1972 // kazuo umezu i don't think this is a perfect horror manga by any means but it is definitely interesting. i think thematically is where it really shines, particularly in its consideration of human nature in crisis. but beyond that, i just think it's fascinating to be able to totally feel it and umezu's dna in modern horror media.

A part les linges, il y a également le suaire !

Nous sommes à l'aube du dimanche où le Seigneur Jésus-Christ est ressuscité. Marie de Magdala se rend au tombeau. Il fait encore très sombre. Elle voit que la pierre fermant l’entrée du sépulcre a été roulée de côté. Pensant que le corps de Jésus a été dérobé, elle court prévenir Simon Pierre et Jean: "Ils ont enlevé du sépulcre le Seigneur, et nous ne savons où ils l'ont mis." Aussitôt, Pierre et Jean partent pour aller au sépulcre. Ils courent tous deux ensemble, mais Jean, plus rapide que Pierre, le distance et parvient le premier au tombeau.

Jean se baisse et aperçoit les linges qui sont posées là; cependant il n'entre pas. Simon Pierre qui le suit, arrive et entre dans le tombeau; il observe que les linges sont posées d'un côté et le suaire qui a été mis sur la tête de Jésus, est enroulé à part, à un autre endroit. C'est alors que Jean, qui est arrivé le premier, entre lui aussi; il voit et il croit. "En effet, jusque-là, ils n’avaient pas encore compris l’Écriture d’après laquelle Jésus devait ressusciter d’entre les morts"(Lire Jean 20,1-9).

Mon ami(e), prends-tu le temps de bien observer les choses autour de toi, de les regarder de près ou y jettes-tu seulement un regard furtif, superficiel ? Jean est celui qui est arrivé au tombeau de Jésus, le premier, cependant, il n'a pas fait les observations capitales qu'a faites Pierre, arrivé le dernier sur le site. C'en est ainsi, parce que Jean n'est pas entré dans le tombeau pour regarder les choses de près, le courage lui manquait probablement. Mais, il s'est simplement penché en avant pour y regarder. Or, justement, les observations qui ont été faites par Pierre, réfutent l'information selon laquelle le corps de Jésus a été enlevé, et confirment plutôt que ce dernier est bel et bien ressuscité. Car, si son corps avait été réellement enlevé, volé, le supposé voleur n'aurait pas perdu du temps pour ranger les linges et le suaire, comme cela a été le cas.

Chrétien(ne), dans un monde où nous sommes pressés d'arriver à destination, de finir les choses et de passer à d'autres, nous courrons le risque de nous tromper, de commettre des erreurs, de passer à côté des choses importantes. Il est donc important que devant chaque situation, tu te donnes un temps d'observation avant de passer à l'action ou de tirer une conclusion. Eh oui ! Donne-toi le temps de faire les choses de façon réfléchie et minutieuse et non de façon pressée et superficielle. Tu verras que tu feras de merveilleuses découvertes qui profiteront non seulement à toi mais également aux autres. D'ailleurs, la Parole de Dieu ne nous conseille-t-elle pas de ne rien faire dans la précipitation ? "[...]Il faut donc vous calmer et garder votre sang-froid. Ne faites rien d’irréfléchi ! N’agissez pas avec précipitation !" (Actes 19,36).

Mon ami(e), aie le courage d'opposer à ce monde qui cherche à nous enrôler dans une course sans cesse accélérée, une lenteur réfléchie, intentionnelle, intelligente et par conséquent utile.
