Ciao Viaggiatori Oggi voglio parlavi di una tradizionale festa croata che si tiene sull’isola di Brac, precisamente nel paesino di Povlja. La ricorrenza dura due giorni, il 23 e il 24 giugno. A San Giovanni è dedicata una chiesa parrocchiale. Dietro la costruzione di questo piccolo santuario si cela anche una leggenda. Si racconta che che le ossa del monaco San Giovanni di Povlja siano ancora oggi seppellite nel battistero. San Giovanni è molto venerato in questa cittadina perch�� riuscì a cacciare la peste dal piccolo paesino di Povlja, camminando sulle acque e recitando delle frasi criptiche.

West Nautical has sold the third unit in the Sanlorenzo 52 Steel superyacht range just one day after the first model hit the water in La Spezia, Italy.

The stylish profile of the 52-metre (170 ft) Italian superyacht was penned by Officina Italiana Design, offering elegance and sophistication, while the Sanlorenzo Technical Department developed all technical aspects of innovation, offering cutting edge technology and classic superyacht design features.

Noteworthy design features onboard include a large pool on the main deck aft with a transparent bottom, which lets natural light fill the below beach club. The spacious beach club in question is exclusively accessible by three different opening terraces, one on each side of the yacht, serving as platforms with direct access to the sea to relax.

The same area can be quickly transformed into a garage with controlled flooding system for the storage of a tender up to 8 meters in length, with the adjoining space forward being designated as a customised gym for its new Owner.

The 52 Steel-125 is already under construction and will be delivered to its Owner in April 2018 following 15 months in the yard.

I discovered Blood Red Shoes on the soundtrack of Scott Pilgrim vs The World and thought they sounded great. When I moved to London a few years after watching the film they were one of the bands I looked forward to see live and they didn't dissapointed. Since the first time I saw playing an in-store gig at Rough Trade East for the release of their third album to the last time I saw them headlining their own label stage at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton I've seen them in small and big venues, supporting and headlining tours and festivals and even if their sound has evolved during the last years one thing has remained the same: they are always amazing live.

Apart from all the fun I've had with their musica and gigs they also have helped me discovered a lot of great bands of many different styles in the last years both directly and indirectly: Dz Deathrays, Tigercub, Marthagunn, Raketkanon, BRUTUS, Kate Jackson and The Wrong Moves, Angel Olsen, The Wytches, Fable, Calva Louise (FKA Mystified), Nova Twins, Saint Agnes, etc.

I saw them supporting PINS this year at Oslo and I really enjoyed their set. Musically they are quite different to PINS with a more aggresive and fast sound,their show had a great energy and got everybody pumped up for the main act. Definitely ones to follow in the future or even better now.

I had a great time at the first Afropunk festival in London last year, I only knew a few bands but I wanted to listen to music genres I don't usually listen to and of all the bands that I discovered Young Fathers was the best one. I don't how to define their style but their mix of Hip hop and R&B works really great live.

The Forge was a great venue in Camden Town, London that used to bring bands from all over the world. Last year I had a great time with the Czech band Mydy Rabycad and one of my first gigs of this year was Alice Phoebe Lou at that venue. Her voice is haunting and her set was mesmerizing with some interesting banter through the set.

Apart from the bands I've seen previously there are several bands I'd like to check during the festival, there are some clashes so I'll have to take decisions or see part of the set of several bands but these are some of the bands I look forward to see live for the 1st time in the order they'll play in the festival
