The 4 following pictures are highly zoomed in to show the details quality of the pictures. Both 1 and 3 as well as 2 and 4 have been taken in the same conditions, just a few seconds appart.
The first row of pictures are from photos taken in raw and then converted into jpeg. The second row of pictures are from photos taken directly in jpeg from my phone built-in app.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idk if non photographers can see the difference but to me it's stricking. The firsts 2 pictures have noise but they look like photo.
The 3rd one has my skin soften and the contrast increased, also my eyebrow is looking sharper. The 4th one literally look like I applied a fake painting filter on top, it's not even a photo anymore.
Bonus: The full selfies, because I really like how the raw turned out. Also I really like the natural vignetting of the camera, no idea why the processing removes it automatically.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(1st pic is straight from the camera jpg, the second one has been taken in raw)
If you want good quality pictures on your phone which are not processed to death by your phone camera software you need to save your files in RAW and then convert it to jpeg manually. (Raw are heavy so except if you're a professional photographer there is no need to keep it once you've converted it.)
Like I know you should not have to do this manually. Your phone should do it for you. But it doesn't sadly, it automatically applies tones of filters that you did not ask for while converting it into jpeg and that suck. (Including skin lightening! Like wtf)
The only big issue is that you cannot take pictures with the full resolution of your camera but even at 16mp my pics look better than the ultra processed 64mp.
I'm using the following apps and they work fine.
For taking RAW pictures in 16mp:
Manual Camera: DSLR camera Pro (less than 5€)
I've heard that Camera FV-5 works well too, so try both free versions before buying one of them.
For converting your RAW into high quality jpeg:
Raw Image Viewer or Lightroom
I'm gonna go outside to shot some comparison pictures because the ones I have taken today are not ones I want to post lol. So stay tuned.

Is Mediatek Helio G99 Good For Gaming? Lets Go To Details
Tumblr media
Mediatek Helio G99 processor
The DC-1 is the first tablet with a 10.5″ LivePaper Display in the world that, when its LED backlight is turned all the way to amber, can operate without emitting any blue light at all. You can use this innovative display for an extended period of time because it functions at a super-smooth 60 frames per second, is easier on the eyes, and doesn’t flicker or glare outside.
Apart from the powerful, eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, the DC-1 is equipped with a large 8000mAh battery, fast Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Even better, a USB 3.1 Type-C to Ethernet converter can be used to Ethernet-tether it.
MediaTek Helio G99 6nm
Outstanding 4G gaming smartphones at 6nm with amazing power efficiency
The next generation of 4G gaming smartphones is introduced by the MediaTek Helio G99. This  processor, which is based on the incredibly effective TSMC N6 (6nm-class) semiconductor manufacturing process, allows for all-day gaming, large cameras, quick displays, seamless streaming, and dependable international networking. Partners can modify the MediaTek Helio G99 platform to fit particular needs for their markets or devices.
Mediatek Helio G99 phones
The TSMC N6 (6nm-class) chip production process, which we used to enhance the Helio 4G series, allows the G99 to be incredibly power efficient and opens up new possibilities for device makers to produce gaming smartphones that last longer than before.
Mediatek Helio G99 ghz
Fast-moving 120 Hz screens with intelligent display synchronisation
Without the need for additional DSC hardware, device manufacturers may produce gaming smartphones that are lightweight and thin with Full HD+ 120Hz screens that are sharp and clear. Even 4G smartphones are now expected to have 120Hz displays, which offer an incredibly smooth everyday experience with noticeably smoother webpage browsing and app animations.
Through dynamic refresh rate adjustments, MediaTek Intelligent Display Sync technology increases the power economy of these rapid screens by only enabling greater speeds when they are most needed.
108 Megapixel Primary Camera
Large 108MP cameras are available for device makers to employ, enabling users to take the highest detailed pictures. When compared to other MediaTek Helio series chipsets, photographic results are better thanks to dimensity-class picture quality technology. Highly detailed bokeh captures in dual selfie and multi-camera setups are possible with twin cameras up to 16MP with ZSL.
Mediatek Helio G99 octa-core
With two powerful Arm Cortex-A76 processors that can reach 2.2GHz in frequency, the MediaTek Helio G99 is equipped with an octa-core  CPU and a powerful Arm Mali G57-class GPU. Accelerated data access using fast UFS 2.2-class storage and high speed LPDDR4X memory up to 2,133MHz maximises performance in games, apps, and daily tasks.
Gaming technology powered by MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 Lite
2.0 Resource Management Engine
Longer-lasting, more fluid gameplay is ensured by an intelligent resource management engine.
CPU, GPU, and RAM are intelligently and dynamically managed based on active power, thermal, and gameplay measures.

Realme 12 5G: Launch Date, Specifications, and Features
Realme 12 5G launch date in india
Realme is set to make waves in the mid and entry-level smartphone market in India with the launch of their latest offering, the Realme 12+ 5G. Anticipation is high as the company promises to redefine the sub-Rs 20,000 segment with segment-first features and powerful specifications.
Tumblr media
While most details about the Realme 12+ 5G have been kept under wraps, the company has revealed some key information about its camera and processor. The phone will sport a 50MP Sony IMX600 main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a feature previously unseen in this segment. Powering the device will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, promising smooth performance and efficient multitasking.
The official unveiling of the Realme 12+ 5G will be live-streamed on Realme's YouTube channel, starting at 12 PM. For those eager to witness the launch, the YouTube link will provide access to the event.
Renowned tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore recently shared a screenshot allegedly sourced from an e-commerce platform, revealing key details about the Realme 12 5G (RMX3999) and Realme 12+ 5G (RMX3867) smartphones.
According to the leak, the Realme 12 5G is expected to be priced at ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. It will come in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green color options. On the other hand, the Realme 12+ 5G is speculated to offer broader storage choices, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant potentially priced at ₹22,999. Color options for the Realme 12+ 5G include Navigator Beige and Pioneer Green.
Additionally, tipster Abhishek Yadav hinted at some exciting features of the Realme 12+ 5G. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of camera capabilities, alongside the confirmed 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with OIS, it may feature an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Selfie enthusiasts can expect a 16MP selfie sensor on the front.
Battery life is always a concern, but the Realme 12+ 5G is rumored to come equipped with a sizable 5,000mAh battery, with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. On the software front, it is expected to run on the latest Android 14 operating system with Realme's own UI skin.
The teaser from Realme has already confirmed the presence of a punch-hole-style notch at the top of the display, but according to the tipster, there will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor, adding an extra layer of convenience and security.

i’ve recently picked up a “new to me” Fuji x100t and i’ve been LOOOOVING carrying around this small but powerful little camera!
if you don’t know anything about the x100 series, they’re a compact, fixed lens, point and shoot camera that sports a 16mp APS-C sensor and a 23mm f2, which equates to a 35mm full frame equivalent. this camera is pretty much a digital half frame point and shoot and i love it to death!!
the big selling points for these cameras are the small compactness, paired with a fast wide angle lens with a decently sized sensor, and the ability to shoot with film simulations. people buy into the fuji system specifically for these simulations! all photos i’ve shared are practically straight of the camera JPG’s. i didn’t do much editing to these and it gives you such a nostalgic film feel straight outta camera.
if you’re looking for a small EDC i highly recommend considering any of the 5 generation of X100 cameras :))

do you have any recommendations for what width and height someone with a 1600x900 screen resolution should set swre to for s4 cas pictures? i’m having trouble finding one that looks best. thank u !!! :D
Hi! Do you mean just resolution or also aspect ratio? Really it's down to personal preference, and in terms of resolution whatever your PC can handle. The higher the better in terms of image quality, but you need to make sure your PC can handle that.
SRWE has a handy feature under the regular widthxheight boxes where you can specify a megapixel size. 1600x900 is 1.4 megapixels (you just multiply them together to get the MP). To get an idea of what your PC can handle you can try slowly increasing that number in that box. So start with 2MP, if that's fine go to 3MP, and so on. My PC can just about handle 16MP these days but things get miserable and creaky. My PC is also nearly 8 years old lol. I tend to try and stick to around 8-12MP. The key is to build up to it slowly so you don't make everything lock up or crash.

Paper wasp :]
So we had some paper wasps setting up under our back porch glass table.
Tumblr media
Did some research into their type and saw that I could move the nests without hurting them. No worries, I'll just knock their nests down and they'll know they should find a better spot. Two of three aren't there anymore, however it seems this one was determined to stay.
Tumblr media
Maybe I hadn't gotten to the task on time and their nest was too large for it to abandon. I did spot some larvae in there, maybe it didn't want to give up, but it also never took flight the whole time I was there and thought it might've been injured. So I decided to try giving it a new home.
Tumblr media
Paper wasps, if your research ignores fearful biases, are peaceful vespids (stinging insects) who only wish to defend their nests. They're native here in Australia, and are drawn to wood because they chew it up and turn it into nests (so strong, so cool). This can cause problems if they perceive you as a threat just because you were walking around or using the furniture they set up on.
Tumblr media
All these pictures are taken with my Papershoot 16mp with the Macro lens. None of these shots are zoomed in, I trusted that the wasp wouldn't hurt me with my hands and camera mere centimetres away from it and its nest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So after finding a small, tong-like tool to safely pick up the nest with, and some rubber gloves, I put it in an old woodshop pencil holder from 7th grade that I didn't use anymore. And just look at this beauty. Love that I caught some of the finer nest detailing too.
Tumblr media
After gently sliding the nest a little further in, I put it under a bush in a corner of my backyard. Hopefully the wasp lasts through the rain and strong winds we've been having recently.
