I wanted to draw something based on this universe (even more likely based on the animated series of the same name). So I decided to portray the main nine characters in my own way. I really liked how to display their character through their hair and a little through their clothes, while trying to leave their facial features unchanged. I also want to prepare some drawings, just to focus on one of my favorite elves, Gabriel. = ^w^=

Spade's pose is a lil weird n the hands r atrocious but I couldn't care less now as long as other ppl enjoy my art then it's fine w/ me 🕺

Tbh I drew Helen in that pose so that I wouldn't have to draw her hands 😭

Dante - Daniil Smirnov (Smirnyy means calm, gentle which suits him)

Brolly - Evgeny Dozhdikov (dozhd means rain)

Felix - Felix Oduvanchikov (oduvanchik means dandelion)

Waru- Vladlen Zelenov (zelenyy means green)

Gabriel - Gabriel Luchnikov (luchnik means archer which he is)

I wanted to make a sketch drawing with these clones. Although they have very little contact with each other, I think they could have an interesting friendship. I can imagine what kind of dialogue they could have over a cup of strong tea about various philosophical things.

i really dislike how gabriel is charactarized by the fandom half the time. he's either the ever so innocent can do no wrong baby or just. idk. omnipotent horror creature ig. or super dumb.

i mean i get it. we basically have no insight on him bc we have no canon content with him (og fyodrx9 comic doesn't count cuz it's outdated more or less) but it's not a reason to just. idk. brush him off entirely and just make him into a weird looking question asking doll, you know?

and the saddest thing is there's nothing to do about it but wait. because the diamond volume will come out eventually and until then any attempt at making sense of gabriel might just be pointless. or worse. a reason for grief. because the guy you made him into in your head is so much better than anything the canon material has to offer.
