Thinking about that post I made about Mattheo accidentally getting you addicted to nicotine because he would kiss you after smoking. I know this is way off my schedule, but I cannot stop thinking about this.

When you became Mattheo's girlfriend and spent more time with him, you realized just how often he smoked. In the morning, after classes, even at night when you guys were together in one of your dorms or up in the Astronomy Tower. It almost seemed like the only times he wasn't smoking was in class and during meals.

It was obnoxious, but it didn't stop you from kissing him. It didn't make you protest when he shoved his tongue in your mouth right after finishing a cigarette. It didn't make you stop him when he had you open your mouth and spit into it when he was fucking his cock into you.

No, you never could seem to get enough of kissing him, even when the smell of cigarettes clung to him. You never got tired of his lips on yours or the way his tongue explored your mouth and tangled with your tongue.

In fact, you even seemed to get cranky and frustrated on the days you couldn't see and kiss your boyfriend. It was almost like a drug to you.

The holiday break back home was hell, you were short tempered and antsy, like you couldn't wait to get out of there and back to Hogwarts with Mattheo. When you saw him at the train station to get back to Hogwarts, you immediately wrapped your arms around him and kissed him. It didn't seem to help your moodiness, but he was quick to try anything to help. 

Eventually, you knew it was bad for him to keep smoking. You pleaded with him to quit. Promised to be there with him the whole time and help him through his withdrawal. He finally gave in, letting you and Blaise clean out his dorm for any cigarettes and threatening Theo if he gives him any, you were throwing him off the Astronomy Tower.

The next week was, well, rough would be an understatement. He was cranky, way more short tempered, he got in fights a lot more, even had one with Theo at one point.

You weren't doing too hot either. You were moody and jittery and you just chalked it up to Mattheo being cranky and getting into more fights.

You almost contemplated giving up when you saw the fights, but the biggest thing that stopped you was Mattheo using you as a replacement.

“I just need something else to busy my hands and mouth.” He'd say as he was fingering your poor cunt relentlessly for the 3rd time that day before kissing you again until your lips were swollen.

“Maybe I should've just done this all along.” He'd say with his head between your thighs after forcing your umpteenth orgasm out of you.

I am always on the hunt for my next story as I like to have four or five stories going on at the same (being able to have multiple stories going so that I always have something to post really helps with the anxiety like you wouldn't believe.)

And I think I have found my next one. With everyone doing Olympic stories I thought that I too, would throw my hat in the ring.

Back when I first started writing for Stranger Things (like September of '22 way back) I had this story I was posting on AO3 anonymously. The fear of writing for a fandom I hadn't seen the source material of left me terrified (I still worry about from time to time) had my anxiety going a billion miles an hour.

It was about Steve deciding to coach Eddie on getting on the swim team his final senior year so that teachers would be more lenient on his grades. And in return Eddie would help with Steve's trauma of having Barb die in his pool.

I ended up abandoning the work because the characters all wrong and I just started to hate it. It only had something like 34 kudos and 121 views after six chapters. It was not good.

So I am cannibalizing the plot for my next story.

Bit of an age gap. Eddie 18 and Steve is 24 when they meet but they don't get together until after the Olympics making them 20 and 26 respectively.

Steve was going to be Michael Phelps in world where he doesn't exist (shhhh) He had come in fifth his first Olympics as a fourteen year old. His next Olympics had him winning several medals, so many that the phrases "world record" and "foremost swimmer of his time" were tossed around.

But all that changed when he had an accident in his first match in his third Olympics where the bounding board slipped out from under him as he went to dive into the water, hitting his head and nearly drowning.

Leaving him with migraines and a fear of large bodies of water. So now he teaches swimming to little kids in kiddie pools and for the older ones, he uses an endless pool. But he steers clear of the main pool and if he has to use it, he has his assistant coach Robin get in the water for him. It isn't ideal but it works.

Enter Eddie Munson. Eddie who used to swim in middle school but after his mom died and his dad went to jail, he got sent to live with his uncle, Wayne. But because Wayne was working long hours at the plant Eddie was forced to give it up in high school.

Hopper caught him dealing weed and pulled to have Eddie do community service at the rec center, mopping floors, gather towels for the laundry, refilling soap dispensers.

Eddie didn't mind because it meant that he had free access to the pool any time he wanted.

One day, Steve comes in early because he's getting a new group of nuggets for his swim class when he sees Eddie doing a near flawless butterfly stroke.

They talk and Steve finds out that Eddie just didn't have the same opportunities Steve did otherwise he probably would have been in Steve's last Olympics. The next Olympics are two years away and Steve wants to train Eddie for them.

Eddie turns him down at first until on the last day of his community service and he realizes he'll lose access to the pool. So he decides to let Steve coach him because he figures he'll at least get two free years of pool time and then after he doesn't make it, Steve and him can go their separate ways.

Only not only does Eddie get into the Olympics he starts get gold in his events.

Someone plants weed on his to discredit him when they find out he used to deal with hopes of getting him disqualified but it backfires and the culprit is exposed as the one that sabotaged Steve four years ago.

Then after Eddie wins his fifth gold in his last event, Steve and Eddie kiss about it.

Pffft I love how the chapter started with Cale being so lazy that the little ones start getting worried (RAON, OHN AND HONG ARE SO CUTEEEEEEE AGHHHHH) and the consequent misunderstanding that arose from all that ("he's bored >.<")

I remember reading this in the novel and just Getting Cale. I also want to sleep all day and do nothing, Cale. Well... maybe just read or watch stuff instead...? Either way! Doing whatever I want!

Next, the Wolf children! They're training now! How adorable! Cale's children certainly have a lot of motivation to get stronger pffft

Event Horizon

Hey chat meet Horizon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna start by saying he is going to be saved for ALNST Fan Season 41, as well as his ... love interest.

here he is!

Trivia!

Narcoleptic and an insomniac because of it, constantly seen with eyebags.

During his creation/lab work, he was... imbued with... a special grade kind of stardust.

Horizon has exceptional eyesight that has earned him the nickname "human telescope." He's able to see stars in detail despite being many light years away. He's also able to visualize actual lines when looking at constellations. This is a product of the stardust he was imbued with during creation.

His guardian, Scorpius, is a really rich alien who's famous for astronomy research and making breakthroughs in the field. She passed down her love for astronomy to her creation, Horizon.

He is named after the Event Horizon, the boundary/surface of a black hole in which even things such as light cannot escape (this is important remember this, especially when I finish the other oc, his love interest)

The tips of his hair and eyelashes glow similarly to bioluminescent organisms.

The stars in his pupils are simply a trick of the eye and are just light. Any way you look at his eyes, you will see the star. The star on his forehead feels like a scar, but glows like the light comes from under his skin.

His brand is down his spine and he has many stage outfits with back cutouts so that his brand is visible.

Scorpius did not consent to letting Horizon participate in Alien Stage. She only meant to send him to ANAKT for training. There was a miscommunication, and by the time Scorpius was aware of it, Horizon was already on stage...

Closely monitored at ANAKT due to being a narcolept, has had severe injuries due to having a sleep attack in a dangerous situation.

His love interest (wont reveal the name yet, but it has he/it pronouns) is very... strange. It's also a tube baby, but also very angelic. It's able to put Horizon to sleep on occasion and he allows Horizon to use him as a pillow. They both enjoy dozing under trees.

Whether he's with or without narcolepsy, Horizon enjoys sleeping a LOT. He loves to sleep and when he can't sleep, he'll stare at the stars. He'll trace and name constellations until he falls asleep.

He's not too fond of people in general, except for [love interest]. If it's willing to listen, Horizon will list off as many constellations and stars as he possibly can.

People have tried to make friends with him before (cough cough Clove) and have seemingly failed. The people who have tried were all loud, lively, and talkative. If he does end up being friends and liking anyone other than [love interest] then they would have to be quiet and enjoy silence.... and also maybe enjoy being a human pillow.

Horizon is at ANAKT at the same time as everyone else in s40... I assume that's how it works(?)

Hey people, so I was trying to find out a way of immersing myself in mecha even more and I settled on the idea of making funny little reviews about the gundam kits I've built on my blog so here it is tee hee

(Very minor spoilers for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury season 1 episode 6 ahead)

I present to you:

Demi Trainer A.K.A baby's first gundam kit

This is what kickstarted my addiction to building these little guys and honestly it was such a blast as my first experience with it! I saw the HG (1/144) model of this mobile suit in a nerd shop I was in that I was told had these kits and I figured it was a good starting point. I liked the idea of the training mech from g-witch acting as training wheels for me building these kits.

Fun Facts About the Demi Trainer

the MSJ-121 Demi Trainer is a mobile suit seen in The Witch From Mercury series, and is primarily used by students in Asticassia as a mobile suit to train with (hence the name Demi Trainer)

The Demi Trainer is just one model in a series of other Demi mobile suits! Other Demi models we see throughout the series are the MSJ-OP122 Demi Garrison (seen early on when Suletta Mercury's Gundam Aerial is being detained after her first duel), the MSJ-R122 Demi Barding, which is a more advanced model of mobile suit, equipped with more armaments, while still maintaining the Demi model philosophy. There's also Chuchu's iconic MSJ-105CC Demi Trainer, which is an older model that has been heavily modified by Chuchu in order to compete with more modern iterations of Demi mobile suits.

Our primary experience with Demi Trainer in the show is when Suletta Mercury is tasked with piloting one as part of her spotting exam, where she has a particularly difficult time passing it. It honestly made me feel really sad when I watched it for the first time :(

The Design of Demi Trainer

I really love how this mobile suit looks! It's a very simple design but I feel it's so effective at conveying it's primary purpose: to be a baseline training model for mobile suits. It's a lightweight mobile suit with minimal modifications done to it so that it can achieve high mobility and it's easy to maintain. It also looks very much like something a company would mass-produce for an institution like Asticassia.

Demi Trainers are used with a standard set of equipment, which includes a simple shield, a beam gun for ranged combat, a saber stick for melee combat, a combat knife, as well as the Daedalus multi-tool, which can be shaped and transformed into a variety of tools. This makes Demi Trainer a very versatile mobile suit, appropriate for use in many different situations. It doesn't seem to come with any sort of flight module, though that makes sense, as I imagine those are quite expensive to include on mobile suits, and this is meant as a simple trainer mech.

Of course, since it's heavily used in Asticassia, Demi Trainer also has an equipable antenna module for use in duels within the academy.

The Demi mobile suits are known for their extensive customisability, and the Demi Trainer is no different! You can even see these aspects within the design of this mobile suit. There are many little slots and places where you can modify Demi Trainer and potentially add modules or armaments, and you can see the extent of this modification in Chuchu's modified Demi Trainer, despite it being an older model. I'd really love to see what kind of modifications other student in the academy would apply to their Demi Trainers!

Building the Kit

My experience with building this gunpla kit was a blast! I was so excited to get started on this, and the kit did not disappoint! It wasn't too complex so that I was overwhelmed, but it also wasn't so simple that I was bored. Hearing all the clicks and feeling the pieces snap together as I built it was extremely satisfying, and I really like how the instruction booklet was structured.

You're not told to put individual parts of the mobile suit together until you've built a number of modules beforehand. For example, the instructions tell you to build the head, body and arms before telling you to put those parts together, and I think that makes the experience more satisfying. The same structure applies for the waist and legs of the kit, and being able to put all of the parts together at the end is such a good feeling! Of course, you can totally ignore the structure of the booklet and put parts together as you build them, which is also fine.

The kit also comes with a variety of stickers, and with the help of hindsight after having built 2 more kits after this one (which I also plan on reviewing), I can confidently say that the stickers for the Demi Trainer are probably the easiest to apply based on my limited experience! You get a small choice of stickers too, mainly a choice of what colour you want the middle torso portion to be. Of course, I picked purple because it's my favourite colour, but other choices also include red, blue, yellow and pink.

At one point while building this kit, I tried to take a part out so I could hear and feel the click of it again as I assembled it, but I accidentally applied too much force into it and the piece snapped, which make me panic but thankfully I had some glue to repair it, which was a huge relief. Not a fault of the kit itself, just my own excitement getting the better of me! Though I will recommend to be careful when assembling these kits if you're not experienced, and be gentle with them.

I was so so happy when the kit was finished and I could play around with it! Building it is half the fun, and the other half is posing it in all sorts of cool ways! You've seen some pictures of that already, but I also have some gifs of the kit spinning on a little turntable saved for the end.

The HG Demi Trainer kit comes with just the shield, saber stick and beam gun that I mentioned previously, which I personally don't mind too much but of course having more options for equipment is always a good thing. Thankfully you can buy an expansion set for Demi Trainer that includes a beam rifle, gatling gun, combat knife, 4-cell hand missile launcher and open hand parts, as well as some smaller extras. I personally don't have this expansion kit but I would love to get it at some point!

Overall, I think this is a fantastic kit to build, particularly if you are new to gunpla and are looking for a place to start. The Witch From Mercury kits are some of the best quality I think I've seen in gunpla (again, from my limited experience) and if you love the series and want to collect gunpla, you can't go wrong with getting this kit. The posable nature and movement of the kit itself is great, which I think is really cool and allows for some creative shots to be made with them!
