May do multiple on one day cause I just enjoy the prompts or like I missed day 5s so I may do something today or tomorrow for it. I just like doing a drawing a day thing since I also did that over the summer for myself.

If you could, could you post Alan’s lines? I like him but he’s so stone cold at low affinity it’s hard to sus out his personality

Honestly that stone coldness is a big part of his personality. He's not great at expressing himself and he's very to the point. But as his affinity goes up, he's more. . .concerned for you. And he wants you around more, trusting himself to have you around more.

I posted all of them again this time! A lot of his have similar energy because of his stiffness, so I feel like being able to see them all helps to idk see the gradual change i think.

I think Sho's motivated, just motivated to do his own thing. Although I'm sure he'll develop more interest in the world and actions of the Institute and anomalies eventually. . .maybe. Or maybe Hyde's interest will keep him away lol.

alright mom i'll go to class gosh. does this feel like a headpat or forehead kiss line to anyone else? he just doesn't want you to worry about him. He knows he's doing something dangerous. He wants to cook for you! He cooks in a very wilderness style, but still! He wants to share his bounty! He's showing you he can be a good provider. No, he didn't hunt it himself but good community connections are also important!

he doesn't want you to fall into a cycle of self-loathing or of trying to be anyone but yourself. Maybe what others do feels more impressive to you, but you aren't them and you can't compare yourself to them. Even if you're 'weak' in one way or another, you have your own worth in other ways. So be proud of yourself, instead of trying to get the pride of somebody else. I think he really cares about your mental wellbeing and he doesn't want you to lose yourself. Because he's lost himself--and he doesn't want that for you. Don't wallow in self-pity, don't agonize over the past. Be proud of how far you've come and walk your own path.

Imagine falling asleep in his car and he has to figure out. . .does he wake you up, does he carry you somewhere. . .he could bring you back to your place but he doesn't know how to get there so. . .you wake up in his room, in his bed. . .does he have the understanding that "you probably shouldn't sleep in the same bed as somebody without them okaying it first" and he sets up his tent and sleeps in it or uses his sleeping bag or sleeps somewhere else in the dorm or maybe in his car. . .frankly even if he doesn't he'd be afraid of hurting you in his sleep. There's no way he'd sleep in the same bed as you. Maybe lie awake in there with you or something. But he'd be too scared of what harm he could cause to fall asleep.

HE SMILES WHEN HE SAYS THIS. 99% of his lines have his usual expression, but this one he really smiles and that's how you know how much he appreciates you. I feel like he kind of gave up on himself--he's a big, dangerous brute, he's not someone worth getting close to, it's dangerous to even want to. . .but you make him feel like maybe he has a chance again. You make him look in the mirror and see someone he hasn't seen in a long time, and he realizes that person is himself and he would have never seen the version of him who isn't dirtied with blood again without you.

Spring: (March-May) (between 5am and 11am)

. . .my first thought was that i read that sometimes lingerie is given as a white day return present. . .and i just imagined that Alan asked what he was supposed to do if he liked the person he got a valentine's day gift from on valentine's and Leo saw an opportunity for chaos and said to get them some sexy white underwear and Alan just. . .believed him. And it's a very embarrassing moment for everyone involved. pc absolutely wears them when alan asks them out for things tho. waiting for the day alan finds out they're wearing it.

April Fool's Day: (April 1st)

Well everyone's stuck at Darkwick so that's not likely to happen. Also don't tell that to Sho. . .but we can be family now! And spend Christmas together!

Mockingjay - Part 5

This morning, Ona felt lighter than ever when she woke up. She didn’t need time to remember why, her kisses with Lucy came into her mind very quickly.

She still has a soft smile on her face when she joins her team for breakfast. As usual the table is a mess of toast, jam, waffles, churros, bacon, eggs, fruits, juice, cheese and meat.

Ona sits next to Alexia and chooses the same breakfast as her, churros with chocolate and some mango. The blonde looks at her with a puzzled gaze but doesn’t ask anything. If Ona wasn’t completely in her little bubble, she probably would have appreciated it.

“Ready for training?” Leila asks.

“Uh… Yeah” Ona nods before starting to eat.

She misses the silent exchange between Leila and Alexia, lost in her thoughts once again. It’s starting to alert Alexia, who waits for everyone to have left the room before taking Ona aside.

“Are you alright?” Alexia asks, looking at Ona with attention.

“Yeah, why?”

The blonde looks at Ona for several seconds more, before opening her mouth again. Her hesitation seems strange for Ona, Alexia never had been scared about telling what she’s thinking. No matter if it’s something good or something bad.

“Did… Someone gave you something?”

“What do you mean?” Ona frowns.

“Like drugs, Ona.”

Alexia rolls her eyes at the younger’s obviousness. And she rolls her eyes once again when she sees Ona’s shocked face.

“Drugs? Are people doing drugs here?”

“Of course they are” Alexia laughs. “Why do you think the stylist from the 12 dresses them so bad? And the mentor of the 7 hasn't a chronic headache, he’s under influence every single second of the day.”

“Oh.”

Ona doesn’t know what to answer at that. And the fact that her mind is so cheesy right now that the only answer coming is “Lucy is my drug” doesn’t help. She scratches her neck before talking again.

“I’m not on drugs” she finally mumbles.

“I would have guessed” Alexia answers. “So, what is it? You look like you are walking on a cloud in another universe. It looks pretty cool but… Wait.”

Alexia seems to realize something, and Ona almost has the impression that a light bulb will pop above her head.

“Did something happen between you and Lucy?”

Ona doesn’t say anything, but her sudden red cheeks could talk for her. It seems to be enough for an answer to Alexia though, a big smug smile coming across her face. Once again, it looks like the mentor let place to the teasing big sister.

“Let me reformulate: What happened?”

Ona bites her bottom lip, looking at the door to be sure that it’s really closed. She doesn’t mind if someone like Leila might hear her, but there is no way that Tony can hear something about it. It doesn’t concern him; he already digs too much in her life.

“I… Uh… We kind of… kiss?”

“Kind of?” Alexia raises an eyebrow.

“No, I mean… We kissed last night. And we admit how we are attracted to each other” Ona blushes harder under Alexia’s gaze. “I never thought it could be the same for her, I really thought she was just nice.”

Alexia doesn’t have time to add something else, because someone’s knocking at the door and when it’s open, Ona can see that there is Leila but Tony too.

“They need to go, Ale, or they are going to be late.”

“We’re coming” Alexia nods.

The door closes again, and Alexia turns in Ona’s direction again.

“I’m happy for you if it’s what you want. But be careful, okay?”

“I will” Ona smiles softly.

Alexia squeezes her cheek with a smile, before leaving the room, Ona following her. When Alexia goes in front to talk to Leila, Tony comes next to Ona.

“What did she want?”

“Just talking” Ona answers casually, keeping her poker face.

She’s sick of his behavior and the way he always wants to know everything she’s doing. She will need to sneak out after dinner again, he will probably stick to her all night long.

He then starts to talk to Ona again about something else, but Ona gets off very quickly from the conversation. It doesn’t help that Lucy is already here when they enter the room, her eyes falling on Ona at the first second she’s inside the room.

They smile discreetly at each other, before Ona and Tony go to sit at their place, between the Tributes from the 7 and the ones from the 9. Ona always sits between Tony and the girl from the 9, Anna. They are close from age and the small talk they are having every day helped to create a little bond.

Today’s training was harder than the ones they had before, for Ona at least. It was very physical, they worked on their strength, probably Ona’s worst default. She took a nap between the training and the dinner, after having a big, long, hot shower. And to excuse herself and escape from Tony, she pretended that she needed a hot bath.

She’s first today again in the room, sitting behind a cardboard to be hidden from the door, just in case. They have the right to be here, but it would be strange for someone to walk in here and just find her here.

Ona loses track of time, thinking about her family and friends, the Games and the fact that they only have two days left before the Games start. Two nights with Lucy, it’s all she has. The idea of losing her is almost harder than the thought of the Games itself.

Ona jumps when she hears the door open and footsteps coming inside the room.

“Ona?” asks Lucy’s voice.

The younger one stands up to great Lucy, who is smiling, looking relieved to find her here already. Without really thinking about what she’s doing, Ona goes for a hug, hiding her face in Lucy’s neck.

But Lucy doesn’t seem to mind, passing her arms around Ona’s waist to hold her close. Ona feels herself relax in Lucy’s arms, breathing Lucy’s scent, the fear of losing Lucy and what she has with her evaporates a little.

“I missed you today” Lucy whispers. “It was so hard to see you struggling like this and not being able to come to help you.”

“I’m better now” Ona smiles in Lucy’s neck before kissing it and looking at Lucy’s face. “I took a hot shower, it helped to relax my muscles.”

Lucy hums, her eyes looking at Ona’s face with a softness that makes Ona melt. Ona feels shivers when Lucy strokes her face gently with her fingers and she can’t help but close her eyes.

Like this she doesn’t see Lucy leaning it to kiss her, but she smiles under her lips.

“And I missed that too” Lucy smirks.

Ona giggles and lets Lucy take her by her hand to go sit where Ona was previously. Like this they are hidden from the door and able to hide just in case. And if someone locks the door, Alexia knows where she is.

“How was your day after training?” Ona asks.

They are sitting next to each other, Lucy’s arm around Ona’s waist and Ona’s head on Lucy’s shoulder.

“It was okay. I played chess against Declan, then I took a shower, and we ate. What about you?”

“Almost the same as you. Shower, then I took a nap and we had dinner”

“Don’t you have bruises on your back from the training? That fall looked nasty.”

“I haven’t looked at it” Ona shrugs.

“Hasn’t Tony proposed to look at it?” Lucy jokes.

Ona rolls her eyes at that. Lucy teases her sometimes about Tony and his behavior, Ona complained about it several times to Lucy. Ona feels like Lucy doesn’t like the boy very much. It’s true that, unlike Declan who only became friendly when Lucy told her she wasn’t interested, Tony is still sneaking around.

“Let me see?”

Ona hesitates only two seconds before turning her back to Lucy, who softly lifts her shirt. Ona feels shivers running in her body when Lucy passes her finger on her back.

“Sorry. Does it hurt?” Lucy asks when Ona shivers.

“No, it’s okay” Ona mumbles, shaking her head. “I’ll ask Ale to give me some cream or something.”

Lucy hums once again and kisses Ona's back softly, making her shiver once more time. It seems to amuse Lucy who chuckles before you lower Ona’s shirt again. She then takes Ona against her again and like always, small talk about their days and everything comes easily.

Between hugs, kisses and talks, Ona feels more than safe. She even gets half-laying on Lucy at some point, Lucy playing with her hair.

“You seem close to Anna” Lucy states at some point.

“I wouldn’t call that close” Ona shrugs. “We talk when we have to wait for something because we are next to each other. Between her and Tony, I prefer to talk to Anna.”

Lucy just hums once again, but this time Ona raises her head to have a look at Lucy’s face. The dark-haired girl seems lost in her thoughts but still looks at Ona when the girl kisses her jaw softly.

“Why do you ask?”

“I was just wondering”

Ona snuggles closer to Lucy, who seems more than happy to let her do it. Ona hesitates about what to say, because she’s not sure to be reading Lucy’s thoughts correctly. It seems like she’s jealous, but how in the world could Lucy feel insecure about someone else? Especially for her, Ona thinks.

“You… You’re not jealous, are you?” Ona finally asks shyly.

Lucy doesn’t answer anything at first, only looking at Ona, who finds herself blushing. It seems like she was wrong finally, next time she will shout her mouth.

“I’m sorry, it was a stupid assumption. I was j- “

“Ona.”

Ona was starting to ramble, but Lucy cut her quickly. Maybe with time she understands Ona easier.

“Of course I’m jealous. That girl seems nice, she’s kind of pretty. You seem to find her interesting enough to talk to her every day. Of course, I’m jealous” Lucy repeats, much to Ona amazement.

The younger one stays silent for some seconds, blinking while looking at Lucy. The latter chuckles when she sees Ona looking at her like this.

“You’re so cute” Lucy cooes, kissing her cheek.

Ona decides to hide her blush in Lucy’s neck, squeezing herself a little harder against Lucy. She likes the feeling of her body against her like this. Lucy doesn’t seem to mind and doesn’t add anything, letting Ona compose with the fact that Lucy is really jealous for her.

“Who did you call yesterday?” Lucy asks a little after.

“My best friend, AItana” Ona answers, sitting a little less against Lucy. “We grew up together and she’s more like a sister than only a friend to me. My brother and her have been in love for years now. I tried already to make them go on a date or something, but they never admitted their mutual attraction. I didn’t really let her the choice yesterday. I really hope it will work between them. They will be good together”

Lucy nods softly, playing absently with Ona hairs. 

“Talk to me about them. Your family” she asks.

“Well… My parents grew up in the same neighborhood, but my father is a little bit older than my mother. They both are working in one of the companies that make the clothing for the Peacekeepers, but not in the same department. They both manage their proper department. My father isn’t the kind of man to talk a lot about his feelings but in general too. He still can show how much he cares for you with acts. And my mother is very loving and caring. She loves to take care of her loved ones. I think she was the first to understand that I like girls”

Ona frowns softly, remembering the moment where she told all her family about it. She wasn’t really sure about it at first, but when she told them, she already was in love with Jana. She was the reason for Ona to confide to her family.

“And my brother is like my best friend. He was always very protective about me, but he let me make my experiences. He always gave me good advices.”

“They seem to be nice people” Lucy comments.

“They are. They deserve the best.”

Ona lost herself in her thoughts for a moment, before looking at Lucy again. There is a soft frown on Lucy’s face, which Ona erases tenderly with her fingers. 

“What about your family?” she asks. “Who did you call yesterday?”

“Oh. I called my brother. I thought he would give me good advices about the Games.”

She shrugs softly, like it wasn’t something very interesting. But Ona couldn’t agree with that, she wants to know the most from Lucy. 

“You only have a brother?” Ona asks again. 

“No, I have a little sister too. Her name’s Sophie, she’s seven years younger than me. She wasn’t really planned to be honest. My father is one of the best fishermen of the District, the Bronze Family is pretty well-known there. My mother doesn’t work, she was raising us and now she takes care of my brother’s children.”

Ona smiles softly. She always loved children, she was hoping to have some, one day. Even if it would be complicated because of her condition. You don’t have medically assisted procreation in Panem.

“That’s cute” Ona smiles. “How many does he have?”

“Two. A boy and a girl.”

“That’s cute” Ona repeat.  

Lucy just hums, taking Ona’s attention on her. She looks at Lucy before asking her question, the older one looking at the wall in front of them without really looking at it.

“You don’t like children?”

“I do” Lucy sighs softly. “It’s just that I don’t think I would have some with the risk for them to be selected for the Games, you know?”

“I see” Ona says softly.

“Do you want children yourself?”

“Well, it would be hard for me to do that” Ona chuckles. “There is no way I can find a man attractive enough for that.”

It seems to light Lucy’s mind, because the girl is suddenly laughing too, squeezing Ona harder in her arms. The end of the night is shared between talks, laughs and kisses. Sometimes the fact that there are only two (now one) nights with Lucy comes to Ona’s mind sometimes, but she tries her best not to think about it.

“Ona Batlle!”

Ona jumps suddenly and almost let the dumbbell she was working with fall on Tony’s feet. She turns around to face two cameras and the TV host, who is smiling at her with suspicious happiness.

“You know I’m a man who keeps his promises?”

“I never doubted it” Ona smiles, trying to be as good as possible after a gym session.

“When we talked, I promised you to find something belonging to Jana for you to take in the arena” he says, waiting for Ona to nod before continuing. “Well, I succeeded!”

Ona’s eyes went for his hands, forgetting that there are probably all the other tributes watching at them. He opens a lilac box, very slowly, probably to manage the suspense for the audience. Ona wonders briefly if they are live, before having her mind taken away by what she’s seeing.

“Do you recognize it?”

“Yeah” Ona mumbles.

Of course, she recognizes it. It’s a small silver chain with a pendant that Jana was wearing every single day of her life. The presenter is still looking at her with his big bright smile when Ona looks at him again.

“Come on. Take it.”

With trembling fingers, Ona takes the chain with a lot of precautions. She approaches it to her eyes to see the pendant better, before caressing it gently with her thumb. It was Jana’s. It has the same scratch on the right wing of the dove.

“Thank you.”

Her voice breaks at the end of her sentence but it seems to soften the TV host who takes her in her arms for a hug. Ona gives it back, she doesn’t know if it’s really him who found that chain, but she’s very touched.

“She had to take it back for the Games, but you can wear it, if you want.”

Ona hesitates several seconds, looking at the pendant once again. She thinks about it, before answering. She doesn’t want to lose it or to break it.

“Do you think it could be possible to send it to Jana’s family after the Games?” Ona asks shyly.

“I think I can do that” the presenter approves. “But maybe you will be able to give it to them yourself!”

He doesn’t let Ona the time to answer before turning himself to look at the cameras again and finishing the live.

That night, when she meets Lucy again, she’s not the first to come into the room. Lucy’s already here, sitting on a box with her legs swinging mindlessly. She looks at Ona when the younger one enters the room before coming for her for a hug.

Lucy casually passes her arms around Ona’s waist, kissing her cheek softly.

“How are you?” Ona asks, passing both of her hands in Lucy’s hair.

“I’m okay” Lucy mumbles. “What about you?”

“I’m�� nervous, I think.”

Lucy nods, her hands still around Ona’s waist. Her green eyes are looking carefully at Ona’s face, something she does from time to time, but right now Ona has the impression that there is something else.

“It’s our last day here” Ona whispers.

“Yeah” Lucy breathes, before taking a deep breath. “About that… I think we need to talk.”

“Okay?”

Lucy bites her bottom lips, a habit she took from Ona. Ona feels her nervousness becoming stronger every second during Lucy’s silence.

“My mentor told us after dinner that he made an alliance with the other career districts. I don’t have the choice to accept, if I don’t, I will be the first one they will try to kill.”

“Oh.”

It’s a hard way to remember the real issues of the Games. Ona leaves Lucy’s arms, going to lean against the wall, in front of Lucy. She wasn’t expecting Lucy to fight next to her, Lucy needs to save her life and there is no way that she has a single chance with her.

“With whom do you have an alliance?” Lucy asks.

“No one”

“You have one with Tony, no?”

Ona laughs softly with bitterness. Tony would probably help her to survive, but she doesn’t want to owe him anything.  

“I don’t think I will stick with him” Ona shrugs.

“So what? You will do your things alone?”

“Yeah.”

Lucy seems strangely angry about this information, which Ona doesn’t really understand. They have never had a single conflict since they started talking and Ona doesn’t like that feeling at all.

“That’s stupid” Lucy says.

“I don’t have the choice. But don’t worry, I have a plan” Ona shrugs.

The plan being to find somewhere high to hide and go looking for something to eat or drink at night. She won’t try to take anything at the beginning of the games, she knows she doesn’t stand any chance.

Lucy bites her bottom lip again, harder than before. Ona feels like Lucy is trying hard not to say something she might regret later.

“If you say so” Lucy finally says.

Ona nods slowly without breaking eye contact with Lucy. Green deep in brown, they keep looking at each other for some time before Lucy sighs.

“It sucks that we met in those circumstances. I’m pretty sure that outside the Games…”

“It would have been perfect” Ona finishes her sentence.

“Maybe in another life?”

“In another life” Ona whispers back.

“Come here.”

Lucy reaches her hand out to Ona, who doesn’t hesitate to take her. Then the older one draws Ona against her again, passing her arms around her waist and kissing her temple.

“Can I?”

Lucy talks again and it draws Ona’s attention, who looks at Lucy with curiosity. The dark-haired woman raised her hand next to Ona’s face.

“Yeah?”

Lucy softly passes her fingers around Ona’s neck, like she’s looking for someone here. Ona doesn’t need any explanation to understand that Lucy is looking for the chain.

“You’re not wearing it”

It’s more a statement than a question, but Ona still nods at it.

“I will wear it for the Games though” Ona shrugs. “I want to be sure that it will come back to Jana’s family after all of this.”

“I understand” Lucy assures her softly.

A new moment of silence passes, during which Lucy takes Ona again against her. Each of their arms passed around the waist of the other, Lucy gently cradles Ona who was still standing.

“Can I ask you something?” Lucy talks again.

“Everything you want”

Lucy smiles softly at the other girl’s answer, searching in her head the best words to use to ask the question that is in her mind.

“If Jana was still here… Do you think that what happened between us will be here too?”

Ona bites her lips thoughtfully. She never asks herself that kind of question and she’s a little bit taken aback by it.

“I don’t know. The thing I know is that Jana is my first love. But you and me… It’s different. I can’t compare the feelings I have for both of you.”

She’s lying a little bit. Because she knows that the feelings she has for Lucy are surely different from the ones she had for Jana. Those feelings are stronger, more passionate and devastating.

“What we have you and me is stronger than everything I felt before. It scares me because we are not in the right place for that. And I know that at least one of us will lose the others. I’m not sure I want to live in a world where you are not here.”

She was trying not to be too sincere at first, but she got carried away. After all, Lucy has the right to know the way she feels. Lucy doesn’t seem to find that alarming anyway, because she’s grabbing Ona’s face to kiss her hard.

“No matter what happens during the Games, know that what we shared here means the world to me. I was sincere and real with you.”

Ona nods again, passing her arms around Lucy’s neck to share a new kiss. She knows their time is counted now; curfew is here soon. After that, everything will change forever.

Leona breaks rules because he can, or pushes the very limits just to see how far he can go before it all falls apart. All eyes aren’t on him, at least most aren’t, aside from his nosy family members and those in the guard who may not trust his ambition. He knows how to pull the wool over Fareena’s eyes for the most part, though his sister-in-law is a different case. He’s not a patient man but he’s not pushy either; if he only wanted a night or two of fun he would’ve never committed to begin with, so you can take that to heart if you doubt his feelings.

12. ♥ Do they seek to find a partner purely to further the bloodline and name, is it for true love, or is it for pleasure alone?

Leona laughed at the thought of furthering his bloodline. Subject his child to 2nd place by default their entire life? Yeah, right. It’s a thought that drifts with time as he can’t help but want an heir himself, he refers to it as his natural kingly want even without being a king, but you think he just wants to raise a fighter willing to look out for the ‘little guy’ too just in case Cheka doesn’t do a good enough job. There is something to be said about the kinds of people he’d choose to date, ones that would be suitable for family life if they wanted it. Dating is mostly left to his own whims and he doesn’t do it often, if at all, as getting to know new people was a hassle and he hated wasting his own time.

16. ♥ Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?

Napping. Yes, yes, very stereotypical for the lazy lion but he didn’t trust just anyone to join him. Sleeping soundly around another person was like exposing your belly in a room full of predators; you wouldn’t do it if you felt like you’d be torn to shreds. He’s placing his trust in you to keep him safe and warm while he slumbers. He doesn’t reveal his expectations of you being his pillow until it’s far too late for you to run.

28. ♥ Do they understand their partners/person they are courtings feelings without them having to say anything?

Leona is as sharp as a carnivore’s claw. Many things could be said about him but his intelligence was rarely in question. He might not always verbally confirm things, but the longer you’re together the more familiar he is with you. Conscious or unconscious, he noticed the way you move or hold yourself, the way you speak and the specific words you pick whether you’re coddling someone or in an argument. He’s aware when you divert from your norm, whether its due to anger or sadness or embarrassment. It’s like chess, a game he’s quite good at, and you’re always stunned when he finally calls you out when he asks for the ‘why’ behind your changes.  

Jamil Viper:

Jamil doesn’t have any strong feelings one way or the other, but you do notice he’s the type to take it slow. He’s not embarrassed by physical affection per se but the closer you get, the more you feel him tense. He’s worried about getting too attached too fast, and while the sanctity of marriage isnt the first thing on his mind, there are some interactions you have that are so domestic Jamil can’t help but daydream about what married life might consist of with you.

12. ♥ Do they seek to find a partner purely to further the bloodline and name, is it for true love, or is it for pleasure alone?

Jamil isn’t entirely game to have children, for a variety of reasons that include not wanting them to be in servitude from birth. He has doubts, feeling guilty if a family is something you had always wanted, but he had never really seen that for himself. But he also can’t say he’s seen romance for himself either, or that anyone would want to date him despite his loyalty being sworn to another, so there’s a chance for change and he might be willing to reconsider a childless future.

16. ♥ Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?

Sightseeing. This only applied when you were out of the country, likely at the whim of Kalim going on his royal duties, but Jamil is given enough ‘personal time’ when he’s surrounded by the royal guards of other families. He liked to drag you around with him to places of interest, from the markets to the ruins that seem to line every city; his eyes always glow when he’s left to adventure on his own with no obligations to reassure the safety of who he’s with, though he is wary about going anywhere dangerous when you’re tagging along with him.

28. ♥ Do they understand their partners/person they are courtings feelings without them having to say anything?

Wires can get crossed from time to time, but Jamil isn’t stupid. He knows how to read people to an extent and he can be hyperaware of his surroundings due to his job, so he noticed plenty about you. Some little habits, the way you acted when you were happy or upset or contemplating existence, he just never knew how to use that to his advantage. Learning how to use the information you present him is more the issue he’s presented with but never doubt that Jamil will figure it out for the sake of keeping you as his.

The Game Plan (Shawn Hunter x reader)

Summary: Topanga, Cory and Angela are tired of seeing you and Shawn being so obviously in love yet not together, and plan to change that for the better.

Approaching your locker, you locked eyes with Shawn. A sweet smile formed on his face and you almost dropped the books you were holding.

“Hey.”

“Hey…”

After about 5 minutes of getting lost in each others eyes, Cory waved his hands in front of both your faces, snapping you both out of it. You blinked a few times before registering what he was actually saying.

“Er hello? Earth to lovebirds? Can you hear me?”

Neither you or Shawn corrected him after calling you that, neither of you ever did when he called you two a relationship-y term. You did wonder if he liked you back but he was always dating someone else up until now.

“What is it about each other that’s making you both so quiet?” Angela spoke, looking at you, and then at Shawn, and back again a few times.

Neither of you got to answer before the bell rang and you all went to your next class.

Cory leant back on his chair and turned to face Shawn.

“Why haven’t you asked them out already?”

Shawn sighed before starting to answer

“Well I-“

“Mr Hunter, Mr Matthews, do you have something more interesting to talk about than my lesson?” Feeny said, eyeing the two.

“No.” The two groaned before Feeny started lecturing them on whatever they missed while talking.

While Feeny was distracted, Angela turned to you.

“Look that boy loves you, we can all tell, why don’t you ask him out?”

“I just can’t-”

“And why not?”

“Because… it’s never the right time, I never get a chance, I don’t know-”

Cory cornered Shawn before asking him again.

“Why. Have. You. Not. Asked. Y/N. Out, I know you’re in love Shawn, actually I think everyone knows”

Cory turned around to see Topanga, who’d heard the entire thing, and had the same half shocked, half sympathetic look on her face as Cory did.

“I’m tired of seeing them pining over each other all the time” Angela said, walking up to Topanga and Cory.

“Agreed” Topanga nodded, “But how do we make them realise it themselves?”

They thought for a moment before Topanga spoke again.

“Actually… we could always play a game.”

“What game-” Cory responded in confusion

“7 minutes in heaven.”

“That’s not the worst idea-“ Angela spoke before she was interrupted by Cory.

“Oh come on, we’re not 12, in what circumstance would we ever possibly do that. Cory said, attempting to shut down the idea as a whole. “Honestly honey, I would be easier to just lock them in there-”

“CORY!”

“What, they’d get mad at us for a minute before realising they’re alone. together.”

“Cory we can’t just lock them in a closet, and honestly I think they’d be up for 7 minutes in heaven, they want to be together don’t they? This gives them a chance.”

“Angela’s right, now you get Shawn and we’ll get Y/N. Tell him we’re all just gonna hang out at your place. We take a few minutes of just talking before I propose the idea. Then for authenticity, when they agree, I’ll spin around with my eyes shut pointing at whoever will go in. To make sure it’s going to be them, cough when I’m pointing at them, we all understand the plan?”

Angela and Cory nodded.

“Great, meet at yours, 8 o’clock.”

/Cory’s house, 8pm/

All of you had gathered in Cory’s room and had been talking for a while before you finally said something about the huge pile of clothes on the floor, next to his empty closet.

“You rearranging or something?” You said as you gestured to the pile.

“Well actually” Cory said, standing up, “Topanga thought it would be fun if we played 7 minutes in heaven”

“Why exactly, Topanga?” Shawn questioned. His confused face was so cute, he scrunched his nose a bit and he put a hand on the back of his neck-

“I thought it would be nice if we all played some old games, y’know er- see if it’s any different now.”

“Er ok… well I’m in I guess, Y/N, Angela?” Shawn responded, still looking confused.

You and Angela nodded before Topanga stood up getting in the middle of the room and shutting her eyes.

“Ok everyone move around since I know here you are, and if I turn to a wall then I’ll go in”

You all did as she said, before she started spinning around with her finger out, pointing at whoever she turned to.

Cory coughed rather loudly just as Topanga had turned to Shawn.

Topanga smiled when she saw the plan piecing together.

“Well Shawn it is with……”

Shawn winked to no one in particularly before walking to lean against the closet as Topanga started spinning.

Cory coughed again as she turned to you.

“Y/N!”

Your eyes widened and you turned to look at Shawn who had the same expression, before he noticed you looking and quickly changed to a smirk.

“Well babe, c’mon in” he gestured to the closet before you both walked in.

Cory shut the doors, leaving you both in near complete darkness. It was small the two of you were pressed against each other slightly. You were about to say something before you heard Cory yell.

“OH NO I LOST THE KEY…”

Angela and Topanga looked at him with a surprised and slightly disappointed expression before Topanga whisper shouted at him.

“WHAT KEY, IT’S A CLOSET!!”

“I THOUGHT THEY MIGHT NEED MORE THAN 7 MINUTES!!” Cory whisper shouted back.

“YOU IDIOT”

“Key?” Shawn questioned.

“I think we just have to go with it” You replied.

You looked down for a second before Shawn slowly brought his hands to yours, talking hold of them. You looked up at him and he pulled you closer.

“Y/N.” He quickly sighed nervously.

“Yeah?”

“I love you. I love you so much, I’ve been in love with you for ages, i-”

He paused to look at you, studying your expression. One of relief mixed with joy and… love.

“I love you too.”

“Y/N do you- do you wanna-”

“Yes.”

“Really?”

“Of course” you said as you took your hands away from his and wrapped them around him, and the leaning in to kiss him. He kissed you back, deeply, now holding your waist.

You made out for a while… a long while. You wanted him so badly you could just-

“HEY LOVEBIRDS IT’S BEEN HALF AN HOUR” Cory yelled.

“WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR KEY NOW?” Shawn yelled back.

The first time i met satoru was about 13 years ago. I was only 5 years old, my big brother suguru was 8. Suguru came home one day after school and asked our mom if he could bring a friend over after school tomorrow. My mom said yes and that was what started it all

the next day after school suguru came home and he brought his friend.

“hello, nice to meet you! I’m satoru gojo” the white haired boy said as he introduced himself to my mom.

“hello gojo nice to meet you! are you hungry? would you like anything to eat?” My mom said as she smiled at him

“yes please” gojo said as he returned her smile. I on the other hand couldn’t stop myself from staring at him. His pretty white hair and his beautiful blue eyes were so new to me, i couldn’t help but want to get closer to him.

“this is my little sister y/n” I heard suguru say which snapped me out of my thoughts. Gojo came over to me with a smile on his face

“hello y/n, i’m suguru’s best friend nice to meet you” he said as he looked right into me eyes

“you’re so heavy!” i said as he just sat there and laughed. After 5 minutes of pulling i just gave up and laid back down trying to go back to sleep

“who all did you invite to the party?” suguru suddenly asked me

“not that many people. Shoko, satoru, and a few other friends from school” i said as i looked at him. He nodded and started texting someone on his phone

“why?” i asked, curious now

“no reason, just wanted to know if i could invite some people” he said

“eww, you wanna invite your girlfriend” i said teasing him

“shut up. and she’s not my girlfriend” he said as he slightly pushed me

“now can you both leave so i can get in the shower?” i added, trying to change the topic as i stood up and began walking to my bathroom

Also maybe it's just me but he mentions health and wellness so much I can't help but wonder if he's had some sort of health problem in the past, or maybe Jin or someone else he knows and cares for. Also, hilarious that speaks to highly of caring for one's health when he smokes.

That happens to include an incredible resurgence in my love for MCU fanfic, the community around it and all the love that goes into them. I've felt a bit distant from here for a while, but I still see so many of my old friends writing, ones who want to get back into it, and a whole lot of new writers I am dying to meet.

1.Moon: I just watched Bloodmoon jump off of a spinning chair. Luckily, he wasn't hurt that badly. But the whole time, Lunar was screaming for help, which caused Earth to run in to help Bloodmoon. Just note that all of this happened in the span of six minutes.

2.Eclipse: You know, people treat me like a god. Bloodmoon: How? Eclipse: They ignore my existence unless they need something.

3.Earth: How long do you reckon it’ll be until Sun finally snaps and commits murder? Bloodmoon: I’ve been going through life assuming it’s already happened at some point and it’s just that no one was ever able to trace it back to him.

I was playing World Tour and for some reason I never really put too much thought into my Avatar's voice, and who the ENG VA was.

And it got me thinking about the other Avatar's voices that made an appearance, and who they were. Surprisingly, I have heard the Eng VAs in different medias before.

Hello! I know you have your own life, but I want to make sure you are ok!

Hi. Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, I'm not.

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a month, I've had no motivation to. I'm not sure if I even will because of how toxic the internet and fandom has become. I've thought about it all month and Jakei's departure was the final nail in the coffin. For my general whump fans who don't know, Jakei is the creator of Underverse, my biggest inspiration, discontinued the project due to harassment for frankly petty drama. She didn't deserve it and screw everyone who harassed her.

The last two chapters would've been an epilogue and a bonus chapter. The epilogue is about Nightmare and Ribbon's life 4 years in the future. They have a daughter, Aurora, and Nightmare has almost full control of the multiverse. Nightmare has a meeting with Dream regarding the rescue group Core Frisk started. Dream attempts to snap out of mind control and tries to attack Ribbon and Aurora, but Nightmare stops him. He sends Ribbon and Aurora to the dollhouse Ribbon made out of the Star Sanses' base. Blue is there with a prisoner that annoyed him, bringing him to Ribbon to take care of. Ribbon gets excited and has a tea party with the prisoner. The catch is the tea is poisoned and Ribbon brutally transforms him into a fluffy plush owl. He adds it to his collection and spends the rest of the time hanging out with Blue.

The bonus chapter is about two stories. One is the creation of Aurora and the other is about Core Frisk and how they're handling the apocalypse. Nightmare still wants an heir even if Ribbon is unsure and nervous about the process. He pressures him into it and Ribbon agrees. It's Horror's birthday and after the celebrations, Nightmsre takes Ribbon away to perform the spell. Later, the little soul (literally) is raised on a pillow. Ribbon spends all his time taking care of it like a good totally not brainwashed housewife would do.

Meanwhile, Core Frisk sent a team out for a rescue mission and had to step in and help after being overwhelmed by infected monsters. They manage to get away but Core notices Underfell Sans trying to hide something. They force Fell to hand over their arm to reveal it's scratched and infected. Core quickly amputates it so he's safe. Then they have an encounter with Epic, who sent the monsters in their direction in the first place for a "fun little trap".

The toxicity is not an Undertale/ UTMV fandom only issue, rather I see it in nearly every fandom now. A bunch of entitled purity "activists" with nothing better to do them stir up drama and add politics into everything. Even the non-fandom art community feels like one big game of king of the hill. It feels like most of them are only artists for attention and mainly focus on ripping down as many artists as possible.

It's gotten to the point where I don't feel safe putting my name on anything in fear of being a target. I don't want to make a mistake and then get threatened to be killed with broken glass 5 years later. Especially when I write dark subject matter.

I'm probably going to delete all my social media accounts and only post AO3 fanfics anonymously. Will they still be UTMV? Maybe. I still want to write that Kid Icarus: Uprising sequel. The bonus part about that fandom is that there's like 12 people that still know that game exists. I also want to write my original novels, but again, I fear putting my name out there in the world.

Be flexible. Opportunities may not come from where or who you expect. Try to be adaptable and ready to pounce on opportunities when they present themselves. Make space for this new balance in your life. Don’t let yourself become overwhelmed by your manifestation or by the responsibilities in your life. Give them equal space.

Put in effort. Work consistently in your life and in your manifesting. The most effective manifestation comes not only from wanting and mentally attracting, but by working towards it every day. Stay motivated, your work will be rewarded!

Be kind and understanding with yourself. Don’t get frustrated with yourself if things aren’t happening as quickly, as easily, or in the way you thought they would. You are attracting your desires, and they will come to you when the time is right. Getting frustrated will only delay the process. Stay positive to attract positive outcomes quicker.

Don’t try to sabotage others to get ahead. Be honest in your word and deed. Resourcefulness is good, but trickery is not. Protect yourself and your energy without stooping low. Lowering your energy will only attract negativity. 

What can I do to be more aligned with opportunities coming my way?  Ten of Cups

Positivity is the name of the game. Find happiness within yourself where you are, and positivity and abundance will flow to you. Try to find joy with your loved ones, don’t let yourself become isolated. And who knows? Maybe networking will open new opportunities for you.

Keep your end goal in mind as often as possible. Remember why you’re putting in the work. You’re building the foundation for your abundance. Think of how your loved ones will fit into your reality. Planning ahead for where people/things you love will fit in will help when the time comes.

Find a balance in your life. Nothing should overtake anything else. Once you have achieved this balance, your desires will find harmony with the other aspects of your life. This will be imperative to usher in your wishes.

Avoid relying on others for your desires. Manifesting desires is not something someone else can give you. Be wary of anyone who tries to tell you otherwise. If someone offers to help you, or an opportunity should arise, check that there are no strings attached.

Collaborate with like-minded people. Consult with others who are interested in manifestation. Look also at those who have achieved what you desire. What made them successful? How can you apply that to achieve your own success?

Make sure that your life is stable enough to handle what you’re attracting. Welcome your desires in, make sure that there is a welcoming environment. Be that inside yourself, or in your immediate space. Cheerfully look forward to your desires coming to you.
