one of my biggest gripes about the vocal synth community is some people's inability to properly credit musicians. like yeah i know we wanna "miku made minecraft" everything and pretend miku is alive, but it isn't gonna always be a notch situation where maybe we don't wanna put his name on something that's meaningful to us. real, decent, people worked on these songs!! they deserve to be recognized!!

no!!! vane lily, jamiep, and ricedeity. ryo. riproducer. minato-p. they deserve for their names to be said!

one of the only artists i have seen regularly and consistently credited is ghost and pals. which is good! they're one of the artists in recent memory that have really helped spread the english synth community outwards. other artists that come to mind are circus-p and kira.

but another issue that arises is, when an artist gets popular, and they do a collab with someone, people again fall to miscrediting. reckless battery burns/qualia automata is not a project done solely by ghost; vane lily and 11vein are absolutely excellent musicians and artists that have done a lot with ghost and other creators now (and there's even more people in team 6x111 besides those three!!!!). and it really blows to see such massive discrediting done in this terribly creative and colorful community!!!

if you want to mention a song, and feel it would be more recognizable to mention the vocal synth used, then please try to use this template:

"[song name] by [producer] feat. [synth]"

ex; "world is mine by ryo, feat. hatsune miku" "butcher vanity by flavor foley, feat. yi xi" etc

believe me, i love vocal synth characters just as much as the next guy, but i care about the actual people who made the songs getting the credit they deserve more!
