Fandom Problem #6064:
There's such a thing as toxic positivity in fandoms. It's wild how many people scream, cry, and throw up if somebody dares to question popular fanon or overused cliches. As a result, the "Everything is valid" crowd engages in bullying and vague blogging and ruins people's fandom experiences. You know, the same thing they accuse fanon questioners of doing?

Fandom Problem #5998:
To all who may listen...
Just because you've never experienced racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, in a fandom doesn't mean no one has or ever will. The world doesn't revolve around you and your experiences are not universal. So if someone goes onto a blog like this one to vent about such things, maybe don't dogpile them and accuse them of being toxic? I've met many a person who had said that they were afraid to talk about prejudicial behaviors in fandom spaces out of fear of being mocked or bullied. People like to tout fandom(s) as an "open space" but we can't call it that if we belittle anyone that says otherwise. It's backwards and makes people (especially minorities) feel unsafe. If you want fandom to become a healthier, happier place, you can start by actually listening to those in need as opposed to just hurling insults.
(and if this post gets mostly negative reception and I get unfairly labeled as "toxic" just for speaking my mind, then consider my point proven).

seriously the way pathetic white girls (and they're never Jewish either) want to rehabilitate Heidi Turner (who wore that racist ass Tolkien shirt before she ever called Kyle a manipulative Jew) needs to be studied.
stop shipping minority characters with racists and bigots just because you relate to said racists and bigots. and stop fucking excusing racism, anti-Semitism in fandom because it just makes fandom safe for them and alienating poc, Jews and other minorities.
I am sorry to inform you but your attitudes towards stuff like this actually do matter and brushing it off and not interrogating it at all reeks of privilege, a lack of imagination/curiosity, and zero fucking empathy.
Don't even get me started on this fandom's treatment of Nichole.
