Summary: It’s been months since he left you. Now the man breaking your heart complains in public.

A/N2: Okay, that one got away from me and it’s longer than 500 words. I did not go for a happy ending but a hopeful one. I kept it open for the reader to decide if you give him a second chance.

You and him. Once upon a time you and Jensen were a whirlwind romance, maybe it was even love at first sight.

Now all you’ve got left of the love you shared is a bitter taste on your tongue.

His lawyer made sure you will keep your mouth shut about the break-up as in your love-sick state, you signed a confidentiality obligation when you got together. This means you are committed to pay penalty for every violation against the confidentiality obligation at the rate of 10,000, dollars.

But I remember everything

Unlike you, Jensen preferred to tell everyone about your break-up. Even though it was him who broke things up, he insists you broke his heart, not the other way around.

Sometimes you look at your phone, shaking your head at the next hurtful interview. He’s a great actor, you give him that. Breaking up with you as he feared his career would be ruined if people get to know you used to work as an exotic dancer to pay for your study was not enough. No, Jensen must rub salt into the wounds he left.

“How does it feel to break a good man’s heart?” The paparazzi snarls at you. He’s getting into your personal space, taking pictures of you, and even worse, your six, months baby bump. “Is that the guy's child? The ones you left Jensen for?”

“Leave me alone. I got nothing to say to you,” brushing past the man you try to outrun him, but he runs after you, almost pushing you to the ground.

“Hey, asshole! Leave the girl alone,” a familiar voice barks. “Don’t you have better things to do than hunting a – fuck me – pregnant woman?” Jared grumbles, wrapping his arms protectively around your waist whilst Gen threatens to call the cops.

“Get lost. Leave Y/N alone,” Gen warns, already dialing 911. “I swear we will sue you. We all saw you were about to attack a pregnant girl.”

“Classy,” the man spats. “You protect an unfaithful stripper girl who broke your best friend's heart…”

“Y/N,” Gen tries to touch your arm, but you shove her hand away. “Please, let us help you.”

“Leave me the fuck alone. All of you,” you wiggle out of Jared’s embrace, not wanting him to help you. “I don’t need you. I could’ve handled the situation all by myself, just like the last six months as no one wanted to hear my side of the story. Or rather, I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone the truth.”

You walk away, not listening to Gen or Jared calling your name. Ignoring their voices, you wipe a few tears away before you rush toward your car.

“Y/N, please stop walking away.” Jared tries to catch up with you. He’s jogging now, worriedly placing one hand onto your shoulder. “Why don’t you tell us your side of the story?”

“If you want to know if the baby is Jensen’s, the answer is that its none of your fucking business. You should also know I can’t talk about anything including my relationship with Jensen as I don’t have 10,000 bucks to waste.” You walk by, ignoring Jared’s words.

“Another interview?” Judith, your best friend, sighs. “That bastard should shut his cakehole.” You snicker, giving her hand a tight squeeze. “Will he sue you if I kick his balls?”

“He would know I told you the reason for the break-up,” you look at the pictures on Jensen’s Instagram account, shaking your head. “Soon I’m out of here. I got a new job and will leave the country. No one cares about Supernatural in Denmark.”

“As far as you know,” Judith pokes your belly, hating you look sad. “How about we go for a walk in the park? You love the colorful leaves, I know it.”

“Jensen, he used to go with me for a walk in the park when the leaves started to change their color. He even collected a few for me,” you smile at the memory but then your face falls. “I thought he loves me until my past collided with his career.”

“He’s a fucking asshole who dared to say it was your fault he broke up with you. Period.”

“I didn’t give him choice, you know. I said if he wants a break, this means we are over,” you whisper, running one hand over your swollen belly.

“Let’s go to the park and enjoy the sun, the leaves and we can scream at guys who want to play football,” Judith holds out her hand, offering to go with you but you shake your head. “Not today?”

“Not today, Jude…”

The sun warms your face, and for a moment, you close your eyes to enjoy the warmth. There is a sadness in your heart you can’t shake off.

Yes, you told Jensen if he wants a break to overthink your relationship this means you are over, but you never thought he would go for it.

“Y/N,” there is this tiny voice in your head telling you to run, as fast as you can hearing his voice. “Please, give me a minute.”

“If you came to ask if I told Gen or Jared anything, you can go back home. Your fine lawyer made sure I can’t tell anyone you were the one who broke things off with me,” you grumble, glancing at the colorful leaves in Jensen’s hands.

“I didn’t come here to complain or to fight. I hoped you would be here,” Jensen mumbles stepping closer. “Shit, Y/N. I don’t know why I did not try to fix us.”

“You said everything I needed to know months ago. If you excuse me now, I got somewhere else to be. You know, when we met that day, the day you broke things off with your wife,” your voice cracks when you meet Jensen’s gaze. “The day you came to the club and poured your heart out, I should’ve never listened to your shit.”

You start to walk away, not missing the sob leaving Jensen’s lips. “Y/N, please. I know that you’ve got no reason to forgive me, not after I agreed to give all those stupid interviews. My management, they said you must take the blame for the break-up.”

“Fuck you. Fuck your management,” you spat into Jensen’s face. “I got no reason to forgive you, and I won’t…”

“Baby…I love you,” shaking your head you wrap your arms around your waist. “I love you so much it hurts. I wish I told you sooner.”

“I wasn’t finished, Jensen. When we met the other week and you grasped for my arm to kiss me,” you huff, meeting his gaze one last time. “I should’ve kept on walking by. I wish I never met you. I wish I never felt anything for you. I wish I never saw the way you looked at me when you believed I wasn’t looking.” You sniffle, eyes cast down. “If I would’ve walked by, I wouldn’t be so much in love with you…”

“Baby girl,” Jensen steps closer to cup your face. His thumb wipes the tears away. “I can be a better man. I told everyone that it was me messing things up. It’s all over the media. I fired my management; lawyer and I will do anything you want me to do. Just…please…take me back…”

“Jay,” you choke his name out, fighting your tears. “I don’t think I can…”

“Please, don’t walk by. Please don’t forget about me,” Jensen presses his forehead against yours, praying you’ll be able to forgive him. “I…I wasn’t with anyone, I swear. I regretted my decision the moment I left your apartment, but it was too late. Honestly, I was there, at your home, more than once but feared you would hate me.”

“I can’t, Jensen. Not now,” you run off, tears falling now.

“Y/N, please...just give me a chance,” Jensen runs after you, grasping for your hand. “All I’m asking for is that we talk things out. Please...”

“Jensen,” voice trembling you look up at Jensen. “Okay. I can try to talk things out, but that’s all I’m willing to give...”

“Sam, I need another pumpkin and more sweets. Your brother is a goddamn sweets thief,” you groan, glaring at Dean who is about to steal your candies for Halloween. “Dean Winchesters, hands of my sweets!” You slap Dean’s hand away, poking your phone into his chest. “If you do not stop to sneak around my sweets, I’ll tell Sam to get me handcuffs and duct tape too.”

“Sammy, get me some sweets,” Dean yells at the phone, hoping his brother got the message. “Your girlfriend is a bad friend. She won’t share.”

“The sweets are for the kids in town,” stepping in front of the sweets you purse your lips. ”I dare you to steal more.”

“No kid will knock at the door of the bunker, sweetheart,” Dean grins, outrunning you to steal a bucketful of sweets. “Got one.” The hunter runs off, snickering when you throw an apple at him. “You should learn to aim better.”

“You’re lucky I love your brother, or you would be dead, Winchester,” Dean laughs, greedily ogling his prey. “Dean, you can’t eat all the sweets.”

“I can and I will, Y/N. It’s Halloween,” you nod, watching Dean smile like a kid when he looks at all the different sweet sins you bought. He doesn’t know you filled one bucket for your friend, knowing he’s a sweet tooth. “Nougat, sour drops, jaw breaker…all the good stuff.”

“Enjoy, Dean,” you smile, giving your friend a wink. “If you promise to help me carve the pumpkins you can have more later.”

“I think I’ll take your offer.” Dean turns to carry the bucket toward his room. “Thank you, sweetheart.”

“You’re welcome, Dean…”

“Come on, help me, Sam,” you try to reach the top of one of the shelves at the library to place the fake spider webs on the books. “I’m too small. Give me a hand here.”

“Fine,” Sam is in a sour mood since you insisted you need to decorate the bunker for Halloween. While Dean is busy carving his second pumpkin, humming silently, his brother doesn’t seem to be interested in anything involving pumpkins or sweets.

“Why can’t you just help me decorate? I want the bunker to be a spooky and scary place on Halloween,” you grin, pointing toward Dean who carved a witch into the pumpkin. “Even Dean helps.”

“Dean likes Halloween, I don’t” you gasp at Sam’s confession. You never talked much about holidays. Most of the time you are on a hunt during holidays but this year you’ve got a break and want to celebrate Halloween.

“How can you hate Halloween?” You look up at Sam, disappointment clearly written all over your face. “I love Halloween.”

“Well, I hate it,” Sam grumbles walking out of the library, leaving you alone with your decoration.

“Why does he hate Halloween, Dean?” Dean stuffs another candy into his mouth shrugging at your question. “Dean, do you know why?”

“I got no clue,” you run toward your room to get the costume you bought for Halloween.

Sam will love Halloween after tonight. Whether he wants it or not.

“Sam,” you purr when you step into your shared bedroom. “Why don’t you like Halloween?” You smirk when Sam looks up at you from the bed. He swallows thickly, Adam’s apple bobbing when you close the door.

“Y/N,” a low growl leaves Sam’s lips watching you slide his flannel down your shoulders to reveal your costume.

You’re wearing a miss prep school costume. The tie front crop top with plaid trim covers your chest poorly. The plaid skirt barely covers your ass and the stockings matching the pattern of Sam’s plaid let your boyfriends, cock twitch in interest.

“You know,” you sigh, stepping closer to place your hands onto Sam’s shoulders. “Maybe I can help you. Just tell me why you hate Halloween. Is it the sweets? The costumes?”

“No,” Sam’s eyes roam your body, drink your sexy outfit in. He’s running one hand over his clothed erection, poorly hiding his arousal. “It’s… there was that girl I liked,” you hum, now straddling Sam’s lap. You hum when he grips your ass. “I was in sixth grade, she invited me to her Halloween party.”

“We played the game spin the bottle,” you snicker as Sam’s cheeks turn pink. “I had a huge crush on her and when I bent down as it was my turn, well I…”

“You can tell me, Sam,” running your fingers through his hair, tugging lightly you lean closer to peck his lips.

“I kinda…hurled, everywhere. Lunch, dinner it all came up, on the poor girl mostly. Kids ran and screamed and it was so embarrassing. I hid in the woods and waited for Dean to pick me up,” you nod, pecking Sam’s forehead.

“In other words, you didn’t get the girl and that’s the reason you hate Halloween,” you hum, hands cupping Sam’s face. “I’m sorry this happened to you but,” grinning you rock your hips. “You can have the girl, baby. Anytime, anywhere and in any position.”

“Any position,” you picked Sam’s interest. His eyes darken and you've got the feeling he suddenly likes Halloween or at least the costume you chose. “If you want me to enjoy Halloween, I want you in that costume. I’m going to be a bad teacher and give you an A+ if you are a good girl for me,” Sam whispers in your ear.

“I’ll be so good, Sir…”

“Stevie please,“ you whine. Giving your boyfriend your best puppy dog eyes you look up at him. “It’s the first Halloween party since the accords we can attend as a pair, Steve. I want to wear matching costumes.”

Steve smirks, knowing how much you want him to wear one of the costumes you brought to your shared bedroom.

“I will go as Captain America, you can be Mrs. Captain America,” gaping at Steve you open your mouth to close it again.

“Mrs. Captain America?” you step closer to search Steve’s face. “This is not funny, you know. Promising a girl marriage means something these days, Steven Grant Rogers.”

“It means a lot to me too, doll,” Steve rumbles, eyes never leaving your face. “I wanted to wait till Christmas, but then you came up with matching costumes and, I thought I should do it right now.”

“Right now?” gasping you watch Steve kneel in front of you, he stretches his hand out, slowly opening it to reveal a tiny star-spangled box. “Steve! OH! MY! GOD!” you squeal, taking the box out of your boyfriends’ hands to open it hastily.

Your hands tremble when you open the tiny box to reveal Captain America's ear studs. Steve starts to laugh, even holds his stomach as he watches your face fall.

“Happy Halloween, doll!” Steve smiles, hoping you liked he tried to prank you, but your lips start to quiver, and you drop the box. “You don’t like my prank.”

“That was not a prank, that was cruel, Steve,” you sniffle now, stepping backward as Steve tries to touch your cheek. “If you want to prank someone, you put mustard into a cupcake or make a stupid joke. You don’t act as if you want to propose to a girl.”

“Doll. Darling. Sweetheart. Y/N,” Steve brings you into his arms to soothe you. “I’m sorry. I heard you talk about pranks and that you want me to prank you too. Please forgive your stupid boyfriend.”

“I will forgive you if you wear a matching costume tonight,” humming Steve runs his hands up and down your back.

“How about Batman and Cat woman? Cowboy and Cowgirl? Maybe firefighter and the girl you saved?” Steve asks.

“I look awful,” Steve tugs at his pants, grumbling. “No, it’s even worse. I look like a clown,” you grin up at your boyfriend, who in fact, wears a clown costume.

“I’m a sexy clown too, Stevie,” you smirk, giving Steve a once over. “Maybe next year you can come as Mr. Y/L/N. If not, you’ll be a clown every year from now on…”

Steve watches you walk toward the snacks, swaying your hips on purpose. “Doll, I don’t want to be a clown…”

“Well, then be my husband next year,” you give Steve a wink before turning your attention toward the hors d'oeuvre.

“Doll,” Steve wraps his arms around your waist. “Next year, you’ll be Mrs. Steve Rogers, promised. Now dance with your stupid boyfriend.”

A/N: Inspired by Dido’s “Walking by”; lyrics taken from the song in Italics.

A/N2: Okay, that one got away from me and it’s longer than 500 words. I did not go for a happy ending but a hopeful one. I kept it open for the reader to decide if you give him a second chance.

You and him. Once upon a time you and Jensen were a whirlwind romance, maybe it was even love at first sight.

Now all you’ve got left of the love you shared is a bitter taste on your tongue.

But I remember everything

Unlike you, Jensen preferred to tell everyone about your break-up. Even though it was him who broke things up, he insists you broke his heart, not the other way around.

“Leave me alone. I got nothing to say to you,” brushing past the man you try to outrun him, but he runs after you, almost pushing you to the ground.

“Get lost. Leave Y/N alone,” Gen warns, already dialing 911. “I swear we will sue you. We all saw you were about to attack a pregnant girl.”

“Classy,” the man spats. “You protect an unfaithful stripper girl who broke your best friend's heart…”

“Y/N,” Gen tries to touch your arm, but you shove her hand away. “Please, let us help you.”

You walk away, not listening to Gen or Jared calling your name. Ignoring their voices, you wipe a few tears away before you rush toward your car.

“Y/N, please stop walking away.” Jared tries to catch up with you. He’s jogging now, worriedly placing one hand onto your shoulder. “Why don’t you tell us your side of the story?”

Yes, you told Jensen if he wants a break to overthink your relationship this means you are over, but you never thought he would go for it.

“Y/N,” there is this tiny voice in your head telling you to run, as fast as you can hearing his voice. “Please, give me a minute.”

“I didn’t come here to complain or to fight. I hoped you would be here,” Jensen mumbles stepping closer. “Shit, Y/N. I don’t know why I did not try to fix us.”

“Fuck you. Fuck your management,” you spat into Jensen’s face. “I got no reason to forgive you, and I won’t…”

“Baby…I love you,” shaking your head you wrap your arms around your waist. “I love you so much it hurts. I wish I told you sooner.”
