Hello! My friends have PowerPoint nights and for my next presentation I want to go over why Jaden Yuki is an absolute freak of nature™️. I remember a lot of stuff like the monkey, eating forks, the whole genocide thing, etc., but it’s been a while since I’ve seen the show and will miss a lot. Therefore I am calling upon your vast knowledge of this weird little guy to best explain to my friends why he barely matches the definition of human. The more the better, your aid is greatly appreciated in this quest

JADEN YUKI, LOCAL CRYPTID WHO LIVES IN ABANDONED BUILDINGS AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO GET A PHOTOGRAPH OF?

After the events s3, Jaden chooses to move back into the red dorm which has, at that point, no one else living in it. He goes into a depression spree of hiding from everyone at school and not attending classes, just bumming around campus and sitting alone in completely dark rooms. (As is his right) So everyone at the academy is just like "oh yeah, that's our local weirdo. No, you'll never see him. If you want to talk to him, write a letter and give it to his cat."

Oh yeah, his cat who ate their homeroom teacher's soul and now carries around his ghost in its tummy.

How does he live without school support? Why, he just fishes in the ocean and eats whatever he catches! (Most likely not cooked) He's been doing this since freshman year!

(Red dorm students apparently took to fishing because of their lack luster cafeteria options)

Though, it's questionable if Jaden even needs to eat, because he can

survive in the cold vacuum of space without any scientific or magical protection

survive in oxygen-less environments (like space)

survive reentry into earth's atmosphere from orbit (again, unassisted)

go a whole week without eating and suffer no ill effects other than being a little peckish

After the finale of s3, he is part duel spirit, which might go a long way to explain his baffling continued survival. Duel spirits don't seem to need to eat or breathe, and exist just fine in the cold void of space (With the exception of Yubel but like. Physically they were fine being isolated in space for years.)

This tracks with the time Jaden got back from a daytrip to one of Jupiter's moons, got lost, spent a week starving in the forest, and became so delirious he started hallucinating. (Yes, a monkey took pity on him and tried to guide him back to food and water and Jaden thought it was a constantly shifting spectre of his friends who were all informing him he was losing his mind and talking like monkeys.)

But also in season 1 it's casually revealed that he keeps accidentally eating forks so maybe he's just always been Like That

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that the people still living in the vaults who never went outside still had enough supplies to last them 200 years without needing to go outside? How the hell did the people in Vault 101, Vault 21, Vault 34, Vault 3, Vault 11 and Vault 81 last so long without needing to go outside?

Log 21. 11/16

Two interviews have been conducted with 3b and 4b. This is a transcript of the first interview with 3b;

Fuel scratched at the burnt skin on his arms, his mind foggy and eyes full of tears. He needed to go home, to make sure his dad was safe, to make sure everyone was safe. His body shook so violently he felt like throwing up, but the man in front of him did nothing other than give him a look of pity.

“Hello 3b.” the man said, and Fuel continued to pick at his skin.

“My name is Fuel…” He was beginning to bleed, but Fuel ignored it.

“Ah… of course,” The man seemed to ignore Fuel, writing something down on his clipboard.

“Where am I? I wanna go home.” He choked back a sob, but the man just sighed.

“Can you tell me how old you are?”

“Are you- are you gonna kill me?” Fuel asked, his voice breaking and tears running down his face.

The man's expression hardened, “Please, just answer the question.”

“I’m six,” Fuel whimpered, “almost seven.”

The man wrote that down, “And where are you from?” He looked back up at Fuel as he finished writing.

Fuel paused for a moment. Maybe if he answered all of the man's questions then he could go home, that's what he told himself. “I’m from Tazmily…”

The man nodded and wrote something down, clicking his pen a couple times, “And who do you live with, who are your friends?”

“Uhm, I live with my dad…” Fuel rubbed at his eyes with his un-scarred hand, “N’ my friends… everybody’s my friend, I guess…”

The man wrote very fast, Fuel wonders if he could even read his own writing. “Do you know how you got here, 3b?”

Fuel winced, tears reforming in his eyes. He didn't like that name, or thinking about what happened, “There was a fire… and…” Fuel scratched at his burns, harder this time, “and Mr. Flint, he…”

The man sighed, writing another thing down. Fuel wished he would stop.

“Last question, are you…” The man paused, seemingly thinking for a moment before continuing, “Are you aware what’s going to happen to you?”

Fuel looked down at his bloody arm. An intense wave of fear washed over him.

He wasn't going home.

3b stopped communicating after this. Me and some of my colleagues have decided to place 3b in the white room with 2b. We agree that having positive stimuli for 2b will be the best decision, and possibly prevent future incidents.

sometimes its so crazy to realize that there's actually a lot of things i like. that i thought i didn't like because i was a depressed teenager. i love being outside! i love swimming! i love talking to people! even strangers sometimes! i love getting dressed in fun outfits and doing makeup! i love reading and going to art museums! i just thought i was doomed forever to a life of complete and total apathy and void! and now look at me! still a little shaky but i'm doing it!!!!!

"I know Andrew's pretty but that's no way to talk about someone who isn't interested in you in the slightest." Neil says back, "So back off and leave him alone." Neil hisses.

Andrew is an expert of knowing when someone finds him attractive. It was a bit of a necessary safety skill growing up and even now it's more useful than it isn't.

Evan hadn't looked at him past a perfunctory glance the entire time he'd been at the bar. Evan wasn't interested in Andrew at all.

"What are you talking about?" Evan asks sounding as confused as Andrew was.
