A/N: sorry it took me literally so long to post this school is so time consuming LOL. not proofread so i apologize for grammatical errors! part I and part II are posted!!

you open your eyes, blinking away the heavy sensation in your eyelids as you let out a quiet yawn. Behind you, you feel your mates chest pressed against your back, his arm indolently slung over your waist. his breath lightly kissed the hairs on the back of your neck. The sun luminated through the curtains and accentuated his blue-ish features.

You were about to drift back to sleep when you felt a wave of nausea overcome you, but your tried your best to ignore it thinking it was just something you had eaten, so you fell asleep. 

Your mate awoke with a stretch and a yawn. he looked over to you and was surprised when he saw your pale blue complexion, and that you were sleeping in which isn’t normal behavior from you. He crawled over you and kneeled on your side of the bed to take a closer look, you looked extremely sick. 

“my love?”

You slowly were pulled out of your sleep and gently opened your eyelids, which were 10x heavier than earlier. You sat up and turned your head towards Neteyam. a wave of worry washed over him when he got a better look at your eyes and saw how dialated your pupils were. and how dark your eyebags were.

“teyam, i really do not feel well, i feel strange” you said, voice trembling

“okay ma’yawne, come with me it will be okay” he said as he picked you up bridal style, cradling the side of your head with his hand. He quickly made his way on the path to the tsa’hiks marui pod. as he ran with you in his arms you lazily had your head in his neck, your eyesight was blurry and your were getting dizzier by the second, falling in and out of sleep almost. Once he made it to the tsa’hik he laid you down on a seaweed woven mat and waited for the tsa’hik to return. 

“do not worry my love she will be here soon, you will be okay just hang in there” he cradled your head with both of his veiny hands and slightly shook your head  a bit in an attempt to snap you out of your disassociative state. 

“what is the matter here” Ronal said as she moved the seaweed grass door covering to the side

“please help, i dont know what is wrong, she is very sick!” he said panicking

“mawey” Ronal said in a monotone voice as she moved him aside to grab her needle that was behind him. she grabbed her needle and turned around to kneel beside your limp body. with a swift flick of her wrist she poked and drew blood from your neck and licked it. she sat there, quietly, getting a thorough taste of your blood to analyze the problem.

“you are with child” she said, in a monotone voice as usual.

‘wh-...what” Your mate said quietly as he stared at the floor in utter shock.

“she is bearing a child. i assume yours” she said in a thick accent.

althought you were so sick and limp, you managed to sit up, adrenalin rushing through you. excitement. you turned your head and looked up to your mate, searching his eyes for a reaction, any emotion really.

“teyam.” you said sternly, almost demanding him to say something

he quickly kneeled and wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you tightly.

“i am so happy. You are having my child. our child.” he released you from his grasp and rested a hand gently on your stomach, imagining how big it would grow after a few more weeks. 

“oh teyam” you said, wiping the tears that crept from the corners of your yellow eyes.

“so, what will we name him?”

“him?!”

One:

Golden retriever called Caramel.

The kind of dog who would leap on you and you just instantly fall. That's how big.

Plays a little too much.

Hessu once told her to try looking after it on her own when she was like 5 or 6 and needless to say, the first time was the worst.

She became sort of a dog mom after that.

We don't talk about what happened to Caramel when the Mogs found them.

Two:

A ragdoll cat she calls Will.

Likes being a cat, but sometimes he just turns to something like a hamster to fall asleep unbothered.

First time it happened, Maggie thought he died and the crying woke him up.

Just sits down next to her on the couch or desk.

They usually end up dozing off in some weird position.

Three:

A wild dog he named Duma.

They experimented with multiple wild animals' forms before, they also don't talk about the time he shapeshifted into a hippo.

He is generally good at pretending to be a hunter dog, but then comes into the house through the window for a snack or something.

Everyone thinks Hannu has somehow tamed a wild dog and Hannu is there like:

As much as Duma likes being out in the open, he almost always shapeshifts into a bug and hides in Hannu's hair so he can go around with him.

Five:

He calls him Marlin, because he liked to be in a fish's form on the island (finding nemo reference).

He sometimes turns to a crab or bird to go on land but any time Five is at the beach, he takes the chance to go back into the water.

Emotional support hugs were more frequent after Rey died.

He sort of liked Emma at the start and Emma liked him because he was a cute little bird, what's not to love.

The Mogs didn't let Five keep him :(

Six:

Almost always a raven that she wanted Katarina to name for her- Fiachra.

Bird sort of human-like intelligence.

The many times she saved Six's ass, but she wouldn't phrase it like that.

When Six is mad and glares at someone, it pulls on the emotional tether, and Fia comes, perches on her shoulder and gives her own glare making them 10x more intimidating.

The were separated in her capture, but she found her again- don't ask me how, she did.

Seven:

A chimaera called Buttercup who is mostly taking the form of a rodent.

Like, imagine Marina walking around with a little hamster, squirrel or mouse in her front pocket. Absolutely adorable.

Some of the girls in the orphanage found Buttercup and it was hard to pry them off after that.

Adelina wanted her to release it into the wild, so after that argument, she pretended she did, but stopped carrying her around everywhere.

Buttercup once jumped on Eight's hair and matted it down while hugging him. Marina had a nosebleed.

Eight:

Adil never stays in the same form for two days in a row.

Eight sometimes got confused which animal he was until he jumps at him on first sight.

Eight tried to mimic what Adil does when he got his shapeshifting.

They almost always sleep cuddled together because what on earth would feel safer?

When he lost his chest, he was very anxious and worried at first and Adil was there on his back waiting a belly rub (he's so out of context).

Nine:

A hawk, or a Dalmatian, called Domino. Depends on how many mud prints Sandor doesn't want on the floor.

Literally just an animal version of the dude.

Maddy probably liked him more than she liked Nine.

He would stick his snout/beak around when Sandor is working then go feral when a spark from the welding thing catches him.

The garde can now tell when Nine is internalizing something because Domino's tail falls drastically.

Ten:

One of the baby Chimaera from the ship followed in the same direction as them when they landed and Crayton didn't have the heart to leave it alone.

Ella named her Coco because she liked to be a brown rabbit.

Crayton taught her almost everything about tending to chimaera by the time she was six, so she probably has more experience than all of the others combined.

Coco huddles up with her in bed and even in the blanket she was always in during FoF.

Snuck into her shirt when the Mogs kidnapped her, got on the Anubis undetected, tried to bite off Setrakus' fingers then felt bad because she hurt Ella instead.

I got RJ out of the car "stay there" I told him which he nodded, I grabbed food that I brought for the guys. I closed the door then we walked to the front door of the gym, "hey Nate!" I said as he opened the door for us "hey!" He smiled "I can take that for you" he said taking the pot out of my hands "thanks!". RJ grabbed my hand putting me over to the part where Nick trains "DADDY!" He yelled Nick stopped hitting the pads and turned to him, RJ ran up to him "hi my boy" he picked him up and kissed his cheek. "What are you doing here?" He asked pecking my lips "I thought i'd come early and bring you guys food!" He smiled "thank you you're the best!". Today Nate and Nick we're doing a Q + A for Strikeforce, and they also wanted me to be in the back with RJ.

Nick was running around on the mat with Jay "you're gonna have another fighter with that one" Richard said making me sigh "I don't know if I could watch that" I looked up at him from my spot sitting on the floor by the mats "if you can watch Nick you'll be fine" "I can barely do that! i'm watching behind my finger the whole time" I said looking back to Nick.

"we just have a few things to ask about it will be quick" the interviewer said which I nodded. "so alot of people don't know Nick Diaz has a girlfriend but also a son, why do you think that is?" " well when our son. RJ. was younger it was harder for my to go to fights and we were only 16, I didn't want to leave him with anyone so it was just easier for me to stay home. but I have went to Nicks last two fights and Nates last one" he nodded "fans, haters and other fighters, some would say Nick is a 'killer' or a 'bully' what do you have to say about that?" "I think Nick is so so far from a bully he is the sweetest person i've met and he being a 'killer' yeah he is! you have to be in his sport! it's kill or be killed! but like I've been saying he is the nicest person if your on his good side, and i'm on his good side so i'm great" I shrugged and laughed.

"Nick we got to talk to your girlfriend and we want to know for all the boys out there would you say she helped or made it harder?" they asked him while I watched from a far "she made every single step 10x easier and before her I did think it would be harder but not for one minute. her and my son keep me going they are the biggest lights in my life so if you got the right girl then your good" he nodded.

"Nate you gonna come over?" I asked which he nodded. Nick was holding RJ as we walked out the gym doors Nate next to us, making RJ put his hands out to his uncle "really?" Nick scoffed as Nate took him smiling. Nick opened my door for me "thanks" I said and he pecked my lips.

We were all sitting on the couch watching a movie, Nate trying to get RJ to sleep. Nick had his arm around me, my legs over his. RJ sighed still holding his bottle and blanket, coming over to us "daddy?" Nick groaned leaning over and picking him up sitting him on his lap "go night night" I kissed his little head making him smile then looked up at Nick, Nick smiled down at him. RJ, Nick and Nate were all dead asleep on the couch, I slowly got up not to wake them. I put a blanket on Nick and Jay kissed they're foreheads, then put one on Nate.

So it’s evident that Donnie doesn’t like to be touched unless he initiates it (with some exceptions like when Mikey and April hug him or when Leo leans on him) 

But when Donnie is sleep deprived he’s a clingy little shit 

God forbid you get within 5 feet of him because he will launch himself at you and latch on 

Now this isn’t a problem for Raph and Leo they’re both taller than him and can lift him with relative ease

Splinter, Mikey, and April on the other hand…. not so much

Don't get me wrong they’re all buff as fuck but their height kind of bites them in the ass

Do y’all remember that scene in Lilo and Stitch when Nani is putting her entire body weight on Lilo 

Think that but 10x’s worse because even though Donnie is built like cilantro his tech is heavy as hell

And he will force you to carry that weight by yourself 

It’s not uncommon for the boys to hear “if someone doesn’t get this twig bug off me in 5 seconds I’m gonna get my bat” coming from the living room

And because Leo is an amazing brother (and not touch starved at all) he will give Donnie piggyback rides around the house when he’s tired

Leo can stay awake without help for a stupid amount of time 

Like I’m talking actual days in a row

Donnie wants to be jealous but then he remembers that Leo tends to pass out around the house

One second he’s energetic and bouncing off the walls and the next he’s passed out on the floor

The first time this happened Splinter almost had a heart attack 

After that, they started putting mats and bean bags around the house 

And he’s usually able to make it…. Usually 

Donnie had a folder saved on his laptop and it’s just a compilation of Leo faceplanting

Leo and Donnie came up with all of the nicknames in the show

They were like 5 years old when they decided that saying everyone's full name was a pain in the ass 

So they spent like half an hour coming up with new and exciting nicknames 

But there are some nicknames that the others can’t use 

Nardo and Tello are theirs and theirs alone 

The singular time someone else tried to use those nicknames the twins looked at them funny for a solid minute

No one used them again after that

Leo used to call Donnie “Donbon” but once April showed up he stopped

He didn’t want to but Donnie used to get embarrassed when the nickname was used 

The only time he uses it is when he’s really tired or really sad 

Sometimes Donnie will get stuck in the zone and he won't come out of his lab for anything 

And when those times hit all Leo has to do is walk over to him and go “Donbon the guys are starting to get worried”

And Donnie will sigh and complain that Leo is interrupting his very important work but he’ll still leave the lab and socialize like a normal person 

When Mikey was really little he couldn't pronounce his brother's names so he called him “Lee” “Dee” and “Rrrrrrr” (he would just roll his r’s to call Raph over)

And he will still occasionally use those nicknames especially if he wants to make the group laugh 

He gave April her very own “Mikey approved nickname” 

“Aaaaa” he usually says it in a very quiet and monotone voice and it never fails to make April giggle

For a solid three years of their friendship, April thought Raphs name was Ralph and no one corrected her 

It wasn’t until Splinter got mad and called them all by their full names that April realized her mistake 

And she’s still embarrassed to this day

Sometimes Leo’s ADHD makes him very irritable 

The little things like his phone charger breaking and the tag on his pajamas being itchy will just stack up 

And next thing you know he’s in a really bad mood

Most of the time he tries to hide it but his siblings are always able to tell a difference 

And then they ask a million questions which just makes his mood worse

“Good evening ladies’, my name is Jimin and I’ll be your waiter for tonight, can I start you guys up on some drinks? Or are you guys ready to order?” both you and your friends head shoot up and the waiter, shock washing over your faces.

Holy heaven.

You analyze his face instantly, his gelled back light brown hair, almost blonde, showing his forehead, making his eyebrows dominantly take control. His soft eyes, colour too dark to tell. His perfectly sculpted nose, leading to his luscious, plump, beautifully pink lips. Ending with the sharp cut of his jawline. He clears his throat, seeing as both you and your friend stare at him, eyes heart popping out of your faces. “Ladies” he chuckles, bringing yourself back you awkwardly laugh as well.

He taps his pen against his small notebook before asking again “so um, can I get you guys your drinks?”

“I would just like water please” You quietly say but loud enough for him to hear. You feel his stare as soon as you speak, trying your hardest not to make eye contact. Nodding he doesn’t even lift his pen up to the notebook, having your choice easy to remember. “Can I have the strawberry smoothie?” Rose points to the menu where it’s displayed, looking up at him questionably.

Raising his eyebrows, he leans forward a bit to see where she’s pointing “Of course, but you have a choice, either to mix it with alcohol or just leave it as a normal smoothie” looking at your friend, you can literally see the excitement wash over her face as soon as she hears alcohol

Oh god.

Smirking, she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear before classically answering “mix it with the good stuff please” he laughs lightly, writing down her order and nodding

“Okay, water should be here in 3, and strawberry smoothie should be in here in 5, I’d be right back with them both and we can then start with your food” you glance up at him regretting it instantly as you make eye contact, quickly looking away, he nods before walking off. Looking in his direction, watching him walk off you take in his attire and gulp. Facing forward, you see Rose staring dead at you. Chuckling at her weirdness you raise your eyebrows before asking “yes Rosey posey?”

She scrunches her nose up in disgust at your nickname for her “okay one, what did I tell you about that name” laughing you look down at your menu “and two, can we talk about how hot our waiter is?” Shaking your head at her comment you look back up at her, tilting your head to the side

“Last time I recall, you have a boyfriend that, may I add, will literally beat him up because you were checking him out” shaking your head at her once again, she rolls her eyes and slouches back in her chair. You miss the way her eyes light up and go wide due to you having a crisis in your head about what you’re getting

“Oh my god, you should-“

“No” you interrupt, giving her a glare, knowing exactly what she was going to say.

“C’ mon Y/N, you haven’t been in a relationship in so long, give this a try!” She smiled widely, you sigh and look up at her showing no sign of agreement “okay you don’t have to date him, you can just-“

“No Rose!” You whisper yell “relationships and hookups are not my top priorities right now” you shake your head, noticing you do it a lot to her lately.

Sighing she finally gives up. Just in time as well because soon you see a black sleeve stretch across your face, putting a cup pad on the table to prevent water stains. You catch a swift of his cologne, mentally sighing at the attractive smell. He stretches his arm on your friends' side as well before handing your drinks over

“Strawberry, alcohol-filled smoothie for you,” he says smiling down at Rose, placing the cup exactly in the center of the cup mat. “And water for you” he slowly drops the cup to your cup mat, sighing, before bringing his notebook out for your food orders. “Now, what would you beautiful ladies like to eat?”

Feeling full you pat your tummy and pout at your best friend, she laughs at your full state and takes a sip, the last sip, of her drink, having it finally finish. “I don’t think they added any alcohol to this” she scrunches her nose at the cup, bringing it up to her nose.

“I’m sure they know the stories between you and alcohol, Rose” you smirk, earning an annoyed look from your best friend. You look around the place once again. While you were eating, you couldn’t help but look around for a certain somebody. That somebody obviously being your waiter. You’ve seen him pass by, walking up to other tables, taking orders and giving them their foods. You take note of how different he acts with other customers. One table he’s being giddy, smiling and laughing. Another he’s being serious, quickly taking orders and nodding frequently. Another he’s being normal, giving them his best service. And another being flirty, and trust me, you can tell.

A few moments pass by. With your dishes neatly piled at the end of the table, you wait for your check. It’s been a few minutes, almost 8 as you continue waiting. With Rose going to the restroom a few minutes ago, you awkwardly play with the nails waiting for your waiter and for her to come back. Hopefully before the waiter.

As on cue, he turns the corner and walks straight to your table. In his right hand, he holds a circular black tray and in his left, he holds the receipt and card machine. He smiles as he approaches the table “Thank you for organizing the plates, makes my job 10x easier”

“No problem” you shyly respond. He looks up from the plates and smiles. He hands you the receipt then turns around, placing the tray on an empty table. Turning back around, he gives you a questioning look “How will you pay?”

What you need for essentials

Cage - Minimum size must be large enough for the bird to fully spread its wings, but you should buy larger if you can. I personally recommend the largest you can reasonably have, but make sure the bar spacing is appropriate.

Pellets/Seed/Fruits/Veggies - I would recommend feeding roudybush crumble to a GCC, as well as some sort of seed mix, and whatever fruits/veggies the bird will accept. You may need to try them in different forms for the bird to like them. (My birds only like banana chips, they hate regular bananas)

Toys - You need to buy plenty of toys to stimulate your bird in and out of the cage. From my experience the more they can destroy the toy the more they love it. Wood toys are best, but plastic can be good too. I give my birds children’s toys actually. In regards to things that are painted… f it isn’t safe for a toddler to put in their mouth, it probably isn’t safe for a bird either. (Lots of Chinese products use lead based paints.)

Food/Water Dishes - Don’t bother with the plastic ones, just buy the stainless steel ones right away. They’re 10x easier to clean.

Perches - Flat dowel perches are terrible for your bird. Try to buy rope perches, java wood perches, or even make your own wood perches. (Make sure the wood is not toxic to parrots first)

Plastic Mat - I put a large plastic mat under my bird’s cages to avoid their poo staining the floor. It makes cleanup much easier. I also recommend buying a bottle of poop-off, as its safe for the birds to be around, safe for use on most surfaces, and it practically melts the poo.

And finally… you should look heavily into what household cleaners and items are toxic for birds, as well as researching the symptoms of a sick bird, and common bird diseases.
