Drew watched as the disappointment settled on her face, making his heart ache. There weren’t many things in this life that he absolutely hated, but this was definitely the top of the list. Only a month together and he was already disappointing her. 

“Oh. Well, okay.” She muttered, pasting on a smile that didn’t reach her eyes.

“Are you okay?”

She sighed, “I mean, I’m a little sad but you made a commitment. I can’t be mad at you for being a good friend and following through.”

Haley and Poppy were genuinely confused as to why Drew wasn't at the show after she had talked him up so much and was so excited that he was accompanying her. To tell them that he had to cancel last minute was borderline embarrassing.

Even through text, she could tell Drew was feeling guilty about the situation, so it was hard to be completely mad at him. There was just something that was telling her that the whole thing seemed fishy.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 108 (New Year, New Friends...)

New Year's Day. A time of hope and renewal: this is how Heather and Conrad chose to meet the changing year. Unfortunately, a new year still meant trying new foods with Lavender was a chore, but this morning, Conrad forged ahead with a jar of peas.

Outside, Heather worked away at an easel she'd always ignored. But Ash's interest in art, and her friend Spencer's recent raves about the pastime, must have encouraged her to give the artistic outlet a try.

Before she left with Neal to return to Henford, Daisy checked in with her daughter while she painted what looked a little like an abstract olive.

"How have things been for you and Conrad lately?"

"They've been good," she said, but a hint of trepidation marked her voice. "He's still stressed, but the police detail's doing their job discreetly enough Ash hasn't noticed them - even after that prank call."

"Conrad will figure it out. Something will crack the case open. New year, new hope. Right?"

Heather nodded. "Right."

Inside, Lavender glanced up at her father with betrayal after they both learned she disliked mushy peas, so he switched to a more reliable plate of Oaty-O's - which she got all over her face, instead.

"You're a mess," he laughed, lifting her from her high chair to clean her up.

That evening, Ash returned home from San Myshuno, and he answered the door for a local boy doing a town survey for a school project. His name was Isaac Harms and he was much bigger, but Ash was outgoing, and he answered the boy's questions about local activities for kids until his parents called him inside to get ready for bed. Ash had school in the morning, and the young genius needed a good night's sleep before he returned to school with his friends on Deadgrass Isle.

(Isaac glitched out using an adult tablet totally autonomously and I wanted to share it because it's so weird, but I'm treating it as canon because he's five or six years older than Ash and I wish we could have kids who grew taller over time, or just a preteen stage. But I recently downloaded redheadsims preteen body preset so we'll see how that works out when I have sims the right age.)

In Henford-on-Bagley, Heather's sister Hazel greeted the new year alone at the Gnome's Arms. Her wife, Nicola, had gone to bed early after grading papers all night, but they'd spent most of the holidays together - and hated it. Hazel needed a night out.

Without her.

She ordered a screwdriver from the pub owner and bartender, contemplating her life as she thumbed the rim of the glass.

"Is this stool taken?"

A pretty blonde smiled when Hazel snapped out of her ennui. "No. No one's sitting there," she stammered, as the blonde held out her hand.

"My name's Suri. Suri Romeo."

"Hazel Nesbitt." (It's actually Moody-Nesbitt but oh.)

Suri glanced at her ring finger. "Is your wife here tonight?"

"No...She's sort of a homebody."

"And you're more of a...body magnet?"

Hazel nearly spit out her drink as her lips curled into a foppish grin. "You're not from around here, are you, Suri."

"I'm from San Myshuno, but my mother was from Henford and I moved here recently to learn how to be a great chef from my grandmother Clara."

Hazel perked up. "Clara Bjergsen? My parents took me and my siblings to her farm-to-table bakery after each one of our graduations. It was tradition."

Suri smiled. "I'm sorry I never met you there. I came out to stay with them and work a few summers while I decided being a chef was my calling."

Hazel laughed. A calling. Suri seemed young - twenty-one. Hazel was only 24, but at Suri's age she'd just started at the mayor's office. She was a newlywed and the rest of her life seemed so exciting. But it hadn't panned out as she imagined, and now she was here, sitting in a bar imagining what it would feel like to pin Suri against the wall and- ...She stopped herself.

"I hope this doesn't seem too forward, but I'd like to give you my number. Maybe you could show me around Henford sometime. As a friend."

Hazel smiled, and they exchanged numbers just as she spotted the local reverend and her sister's old friend, Everett Pancakes, come in from the cold. "Hey Laura! Got any leftover cottage pies for the church bake sale tomorrow?"

The bartender finished mixing a drink and smiled. "I'll give you three cottage pies if you'll also take this fish pie off my hands. I'll never say no to a Finchwick Favour, but I'll never eat one of those pies, either."

Everett laughed. "Hand it over. If nothing else, we'll feed it to the llama."

TOWNIE TREE NOTES: Sofia Bjergsen says hi! Suri's mom was actually at the Gnome's Arms this same night and I pretended she wasn't. But Suri is the daughter of Sofia and Sergio Romeo, granddaughter of Bjorn and Clara, niece of Elsa. The Bjergsens have been in the save this whole time and, until now, haven't crossed paths with the Nesbitts.

Sofia moved from Henford to San Myshuno as soon as she graduated high school but never quite made it. But she's happy, and raised three children with Sergio in an apartment in the Fashion District. She and Sergio are nearly empty nesters now, with Malachi graduating high school soon-ish; Suri is the middle child, sandwiched by brothers Camden and Malachi.

Qual è il fenomeno biologico che causa la graduale perdita di massa muscolare, forza e funzionalità nelle persone con l’avanzare dell’età?

Questo fenomeno �� conosciuto come Sarcopenia!

Sarcopenia è la perdita graduale di massa muscolare, forza e funzionalità… la perdita di massa muscolare scheletrica e forza dovuta all’invecchiamento… La gravità della condizione dipende da persona a persona.

Esploriamo e analizziamo diversi modi per prevenire la sarcopenia:

1. Sviluppa l’abitudine: se puoi stare in piedi, non sederti… e se puoi sederti, non sdraiarti!

2. Quando una persona anziana si ammala e viene ricoverata, non chiederle di riposare a letto o di non alzarsi… Non è utile. Aiutala invece a fare una passeggiata… tranne nei casi in cui abbia perso le forze per farlo.

Restare a letto per una settimana causa una perdita di almeno il 5% della massa muscolare! E purtroppo, gli anziani non riescono più a recuperarla!

Spesso, gli anziani che assumono assistenti perdono massa muscolare più velocemente rispetto a quelli attivi!

3. La sarcopenia è più preoccupante dell’osteoporosi!

Con l’osteoporosi basta evitare le cadute, mentre la sarcopenia non solo riduce la qualità della vita, ma causa anche l’aumento della glicemia per la scarsa massa muscolare!

4. La perdita più rapida di massa muscolare (atrofia) avviene per inattività dei muscoli delle gambe…

Perché da seduti o sdraiati, le gambe non si muovono, e la forza muscolare delle gambe è direttamente influenzata… Questo è un aspetto a cui prestare massima attenzione!

Salire e scendere le scale… camminare, correre e andare in bici sono ottimi esercizi e possono aumentare la massa muscolare!

Per una migliore qualità della vita in età avanzata… muoviti… e non sprecare i tuoi muscoli!!

Mantieni le gambe attive e forti!

More Uno things. 108 Uno cards in a deck. July 11, 2023 plus 108 days was Oct 27, 2023 or 1989 TV release. 👀 So keeping an eye on Aug 22, 2025 as the date 108 days after Karlie posted her Uno pics on May 6, 2025.

THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING CATCH AND IT HAS LED ME TO DISCOVER SM MORE....

Here's the proof for everyone to see that yoh are correct as well as all my new findings !!!

108 days after Taylor's Uno game which was July 11th 2023 was the 1989 TV release which took place on a music Friday

108 days after Karlie posted her Uno which was May 6th 2025 will be August 22nd 2025, which is also a music Friday AND the closest Friday to the original Lover release (8/23)

However, the version of Uno that Taylor was playing was Uno Flip which on the contrary has 112 cards, framing into the 112 day theory which she continued with using around this time since the distance between Speak Now TV release and 1989 TV release was exactly 112 days.

112 days after she dropped TTPD was also the 1 year anniversary of her announcing 1989 TV when Karlie was at Eras Tour

Specifically 112 days after July 11th 2023 was HALLOWEEN. Which plays into the Jack O' Lantern anon that did predict a lot...

But here's what really gets me. Taylor has used multiples of 112 for time gaps too. And 112 x 8 = 886.

What was the card numbers in the hand being held that Karlie deliberately showed?

886... which was Chiefs themed and is code for "No 87" because there's an 88, an 86, and no 87. But it's also it's own time gap:

Which has led me to conclude that at least one of the purposes of the +2 was to refer to +2 years after..... 2023 to 2025.

Back to the original point, I really think 100% now that 8/22/2025 will be the release date for the next TV album or at the very least some kind of significant event likely to do with her music !! It feels right

I also found that if she does Debut TV and Rep TV 3 months apart like she did Speak Now TV and 1989 TV... then this could be a potential date for the other....

Because I decided to do multiples of 108 as well, and 108x8 is 864. In which 864 days after Taylor's Uno game is Nov 21st 2025 which falls on a music Friday

Happy 1 year anniversary for the day we finally accepted our systemhood after 2 and a half full years of denial (february 7th) [AEST timezone]

As of now, we’ve gotten 108 headmates (as far as we’re aware…) with valkryie being our latest formed (💐YAY!!!! IM SPECIAL) shut up anyways hell yeah

Special thanks to our dearest partner system @luckyclovercollective for being there for us and being the safe space we needed after all our years being surrounded by extremely gatekeepy systems who made us struggle to accept the idea of being a system in fear of gatekeeping

It’s thanks to our partner system that we were finally given a space with no judgement or concerns, and to be loved both when we initially believed to be a singlet and when we finally figured out the ropes of systemhood. We’ve over like 25 relationships between our systems now, can you believe it? (I didnt actually count i just estimated LOL)

Anyway, shout out to our siblings, sysblings, close friends and moots (plural & singlets) who stuck around with us all the way through our long journey. Weve learnt so much more about ourselves than we thought we ever would, and as insufferable as many situations were, we wouldnt sacrifice a thing in our lives if it meant ending up where we are now
