When did the Sesshomaru and InuYasha hatred start?

I came up with a theory on how half-demons age, which is PROBABLY inaccurate. But. Fuck you. That's what.

My theory:

Half demons age every ten years.

Ten years=one year

Twenty years=two years

So on and so forth.

I say this because when InuYasha was attached to the tree for fifty years, he is revealed (in the third, non-canon, movie) to be 200 by then. Meaning he was 150 beforehand, aka fifteen.

So TECHNICALLY he would be twenty at 200, BUT he didn't physically or mentally age so he's still TECHNICALLY 15 (I'm going crazy).

So when Izayoi died and InuYasha was on his own, assuming he wasn't even 5 in half-demon years yet, and Sesshomaru found him, he decided to just fucking DESPISE this child.

Fuck them kids.

We can assume the swords are the main reason. He got the Tensaiga, which he didn't like at first since his name literally means Mass Destruction. While his BABY BROTHER got the Tessaiga for??? Whatever reason??? Destiny, Baksaiga inside Sesshomaru, whatever whatever.

When Sesshomaru is introduced, it's clear InuYasha and him KNOW each other, obviously.

Assuming they met when he was a child, what happened??? Did Sesshomaru try to kill him? Beat him? What?! What HAPPENED?!?!

I doubt it was because of the divorce his father had. Yes Sesshomaru didn't like humans and an interracial (literally) relationship must've been crazy, but not crazy enough for THE Lord of the West to go attack a little boy with dog ears.

Because if he did, damn. Colder than he appears.

This means Rin definitely softened him up 100fold. To where he didn't murder the first kid he saw in blind rage.

Ya know, one day I may give in and overanalyze every Sideshow Bob episode of the Simpsons, though I’m not sure if that would satisfy the maddening compartment of my lizard brain or exacerbate it. Today is not that day, though the deleted scenes from “The Great Louse Detective” have been rotating in my head like a rotisserie chicken, so this extraction of my thoughts shall be an experiment. Trigger warnings for criticisms on the justice system. To set this up, Bob is tasked with finding whoever has made an attempt on Homer’s life. Not entirely relevant here, but it explains why he’s staying with the family in their own home. Marge thinks it’s best he stays in Maggie’s room, which makes sense in a crazy way. She’s the only Simpson child he wouldn’t have a grudge against.

Marge cheerily comments, “You’ve both tried to kill people!” Such a funny thing to suggest they could bond over. However, Bob should watch out.

Maggie’s victims actually end up in the hospital.

Though later in the episode we see them coexisting fine, so I like to think they have some sort of understanding. And that part’s hilarious, but what I really want to go over is the next deleted scene.

He has to sleep on the floor but Bob is so happy that it’s not another night in prison. He can actually see the moonlight.

But then that same moonlight shines on the bars of Maggie’s crib, casting a familiar shadow onto Bob. He makes his signature groan, then softly cries himself to sleep. I hate that this scene was deleted because it says so much. If you think about it, his original crime that landed him in prison wasn’t all that terrible. Heck, you could even argue he was a much better role model for children than Krusty at the time, and for being his abuser, maybe Krusty needed some sort of awakening. He wasn’t a saint, but Bob wasn’t initially out to hurt anyone. But only after incarceration did his personality shift so drastically. Clearly, life behind bars warped him. We see and hear snippets of him being beaten, sedated, humiliated and injured by guards and fellow inmates. It’s like Krusty’s abuse 100fold and a neverending nightmare. Suddenly he gained murderous tendencies, and he’s only gotten worse over time. Granted, Sprinfield probably has a less than stellar justice system. However, given that there’s a lot of legitimate criticism for real prisons in how they take away someone’s personhood, and often make criminals worse and repeat offenders who can’t and were never meant to return to civilized society, Bob’s trauma is believable. Cartoonishly over the top, maybe, but believable. I want this fictional man to stay in therapy.
