Lets Make A Deal Pt. 1?

A/N : I’m not sure if this is gonna become something more but I’ve been having this drabble in mind for a while. Let me know what you guys think...

“You know, you don’t have to do this Vaeh. I’ll be fine. We’ll be fine.” The elderly woman said from across the room as she watched her daughter curl her hair. “The money we saved up to go see this doctor needs to go to Blaze and Roman. I don’t need no damn doctor to tell me what I already know.” She murmured before breaking out into a fit of coughs.

Taking a deep breath, Nevaeh broke eye contact with her mother through the mirror and looked away to stop the tears, threatening to fall. Exhaling noisily, she set down the curling iron and turned towards her mom. “Yes mama, I do. The only reason you’re like this is because of daddy and the selfish bastard died, leaving us to carry this debt. It’s not only his fault but it’s Blaze and Roman’s fault too. They know he’s dead so why should we be paying for his mistakes?!” She asked her mother fiercely, determined to get them both out of their current position. Before her mother could say anything, she pressed a kiss to her wrinkling forehead and smiled. “Promise you’ll be here when I get back?” Her smile widened at her mother’s nod and she went back to getting ready.

Fixing her hair nervously, she made her way to the back of the club where she heard Blaze and his men would be. She’d heard a lot about Blaze and his brother Roman but she had yet to ever meet the duo. From what she heard, the two were complete opposites; yin and yang if you will but when it came down to their money and business, they were ruthless. Sending up a silent prayer, she mustered up her courage and walked over to a man who was standing at the door. Flashing him the envelope filled with cash in her hand, she gave him a small smile.

“I’m here to speak with Blaze.”

“Is that all you’re here to do?” The man asked as he took in her appearance and leered at her breasts.

Frowning, Nevaeh adjusted her dress some and flipped the man off. “Yes you fucking, pig.”

“Well that’s just too bad. He’s not here anyway so you’re out of luck.”

“I know Blaze is back there, he’s always at this club on Saturday nights so don’t lie.”

“I didn’t say he wasn’t here, he’s just not accepting visitors of your kind at the moment.” The man said as he scratched the back of his neck.

“That’s exactly what you said ass- Listen. Either you let in so I could go speak to Blaze and be on my merrily way or I make a scene and I’m sure your boss wouldn’t like that.”

The two engaged in a serious stare down before he finally gave in. Huffing, he opened the door and whistled at someone. “Yo, Seth. Bring this lady down to the boss’ office.”

“Which one?”

Looking at the girl, the guard at the door smirked before looking at the other. “Bring her to Blaze’s office.”

Without a word, Seth waited for Nevaeh to walk in through the door and led to her to the office where she assumed Blaze would be.

Neveah walked into the room and stopped when she noticed the guy sitting at the desk. Despite him sitting down, she could tell by his arms that were threatening to bust out of the suit he was wearing; that he was a big ass man. She tried to figure out which brother this was but she was told that they both were some big wide muthafuckas so there was no telling who this could be. Although his head was down as he focused on whatever it was he was doing, she could tell that this man was fine as hell. Quietly, she watched him, taking in his features; from his big hands to his lovely jet black hair that was currently framing his face. ‘Bitch, I would have to drop a couple hundreds to get me some bundles that look as nice as his shit.’ she thought but soon she was caught staring.

Working on a sketch of his latest idea for a the new club he and Blaze was opening soon, Roman tuned everyone out; and did what he did best when he wasn’t out doing his job or collecting his money, which was drawing. He heard the door open but as usual, he ignored whoever was at the door and continued his sketch; his brother would come by to collect his guest eventually. He stopped sketching though, when the scent of strawberries and vanilla filled the room; and finally looked up. His brow raised at the sight of the petite yet curvy woman before him and he couldn’t help but stare. Anyone who knew him knew he preferred his women thick and this woman in front of him was a dream and then some. His brows furrowed when he noticed she had yet to speak. “What?” he asked, a bit harsher than he intended.

“I’m here to speak to Blaze.”

“Obviously. And he’s obviously not here so why are you still here?”

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes at how rude the man was, Nevaeh tucked a stray hair behind her ear and cleared her throat before finally speaking. “I’m here to talk to Blaze about my father.” Not giving the strange man in front of her the chance to speak, she continued. “10 years ago, my father borrowed money from his father but our family fell on hard times and my father was never able to pay that money back.”

“I’m not sorry to hear that. Why exactly are you here?”

“Well, my father’s dead now.”

“Okay and?”

“He’s dead yet my family’s receiving threats from Blaze. I’m here to see if we could work something out. Maybe I could work at the club as a bartender or I heard his brother owns a Lingerie company, maybe I could work there and whatever I earn; they keep.”

A harsh bark of laughter escaped Roman’s lips before he could stop it. “I don’t know exactly who you are but your father, well your family doesn’t owe Blaze any money, you owe me. I’m Roman and this is my empire. While I admire your ambitions, I can’t help but laugh. Do you know how long it would take you to make that money back? Let’s not forget about interest and the fact that me paying you is pointless because I would be putting MY money back into my pockets.”

“I understand that it sounds far fetched and that it would take a long time for me to earn that kind of money but I’d do anything to help clear my family’s debt.”

 Roman’s wandering thoughts halted at the words and he looked back at her as a sinister smile formed on his lips. His voice seemed to deepen even more if it were possible and Neveah felt herself getting wet at the strangers voice. “Anything?”

“Anything.” she confirmed, not realizing what she’d done.

“Let’s make a deal. I’ll clear your father’s debt under one condition.”

“And what condition is that?”

“Stay with me at my place for one week.”

Nevaeh’s brows furrowed at Roman’s words. “What would I be doing?”

“That’s the million dollar question isn’t it? So tell me? Do we have a deal?”

“I-”

“It’s a yes or no question. Either you agree or you don’t. I honestly have better things to be doing so hurry up with your decision.”

“Okay.”

The sinister smile on Roman’s face grew even wider at Nevaeh’s words. Getting out of the chair he was sitting in, he walked around his desk and stood in front of it. “Now that we’ve got that out of the way, first thing’s first. Strip.”

Before Nevaeh could react to Roman’s words, she heard a new voice speak behind her.

“Yea, Ms. Rhodes. Strip.”
