@runeofluna you know I’m just gonna go ahead and quickly list off my hcs for all the spirits personalities and then answer everything else x) (tho fair warning they’re far less developed than the others)
(This got long so readmooore!!)
Fairy: Super possessive and has a tendency to try to solve things with “murder” (hey, she is a fae.) Dislikes Wolf’s Lawful ways on principle because herself is Extreme Chaotic, but more recently she’s started holding a MASSIVE grudge against him ever since episode like 5 of Frontier because YOU STOLE MY KILL!! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU STOLE MY KILL!!! Shutu: Usually silent, but when she speaks up she’s straightforward and brutally honest. Is actually pretty good friend with Kaiserleo and Garm due to Bonding Over Naps And Wanting To Eat Weird Shit
Blizzar: “Think carefully. Actions have consequences.” Chak: “NOT WHEN YOU’RE HAVING FUN THEY DON’T.”
Blitz: The absolute biggest enabler you will ever meet  Borg: Let’s just do shit my dude. Let’s just... make a fuckngi rocket. Let’s craft shit. C’mon why do we have to sleep CREATIVITY AWAITS
Now that this is out of the way- I think I mentioned before that the beta squad, while not outright bodysharing, did somewhat hear their spirits talking? At first they kinda interpreted it as weird intrusive thoughts (especially jarring for Izumi because uhh why do I always feel so pissed near Kouji he didn’t say anything stupid yet?) so they get pretty quickly used to just dismiss those thoughts. Now either they can stay clueless their whole life or they end up talking about it at some point (”hey anyone else ever feel the urge to like... shove their fingers in a power outlet?”) honestly I like either... and considering the Frontier squad communication skills I really can’t tell which one is more in character.
ON THAT NOTE, spirits of the same element tend to have each other’s back no matter the circumstances (I mean, when you’re basically immortal and constantly reincarnating there must have been strife at some point but I don’t have any exemples rn) However they can and often do disagree on which course of action is best and/or their feelings toward a thing or another (most prone to that are Vritra/Agni (”LET’S SET THEM ON FIRE” “or we could just?? talk to them???”) and Blizzar/Chak (”Have you considered: not murdering people?” “They weren’t playing along they deserved it.”)
Kaiserleo is also kind of a nihilist? It’s less “everything ends eventually” and more “nothing is real and nothing matters aside from the immediate present.” He doesn’t think much about petty things like “the future” or “consequences”. (His general attitude toward the Garm/Wolf situation is “oh you’re hating me rn? Ok cool see you in a couple centuries then.”) He doesn’t come up often tho, he’s good just napping at the back of Lowee’s mind.
I don’t really have hcs about the four remaining spirits, but they’re currently asleep and well in the Digital World. The Frontier six shouldn’t even be awake either tbh, but a sideeffect of overusing their spirit is that now they’re here so gotta deal with that. They can’t interact without a body of their own (or use their powers for that matter) so they cannot be heard/seen by anyone but the human they’re attached to. (Unless they happen to be tied to someone who REALLY overstepped the limit, in which case they end up with the body remote control every once in a while. They’re just as confused at you are believe me.)
(I had a scrapped idea involving Shinya, Mama Kimura, Mama Minamoto and Kouji’s dog ending up in the digital world and gathering the remaining four spirits because “Y’all do y’all but I’m sure not letting my brother fight alone”, but that’s a level of self indulgence even I wouldn’t dare touching.)
(I had another idea involving the spirits being able to summon their elements if they wanted, but their human body been definitely not able to handle them and ending up with unpleasant consequences. Lot of burns. And cuts. And Kouji burning his eyes off. Good times.)
The forgiveness thing is a fair point xD but yeah, since 99% of the digital world residents tried to murder them at some point due to evil mind control and such, that leads to easy forgiveness overall. Plus, they’re those kind of friends you can’t break apart easily, if only because no one else would get it when they say “sometimes I whisper to the wind and I hear it talk back.”
