bike ride to my Mom's, then the gym

30 minutes on the step mill

bike ride to Kroger, then home

the gym workers received Hershey kisses

my Mom was awake. i gave her morning meds and charged her ipad and iphone and watered her plants and visited awhile

bottom = little green moth hanging around outside the gym

top left = Zoom settlement check. i filled out the settlement form months ago and received a check for $32.32

received a summons for jury duty the week of August 21.

temperature = 99F w/ feels like 110F. me and Peanut and Annabelle stay inside as much as we can in the afternoon. sometimes Peanut wants out even when very hot. she is kind of a jungle cat

felt great to be back at the gym. a little slow on the exercising but good overall.

The past 2 weeks might be my 2 most tiring weeks of this year.

Sooo drained I can’t turn my emotions back on.

I have turned off my emotions for the past weeks because I have no time to feel hurt or weak because I need my best foot forward, for my mom and for her potential bright future.

All my life I have tried to be the best daughter, I have always considered my mom in all of my decisions, but now, I think I should step my game up. I can’t be like this forever, carrying the burden, hoping that someday my mom will eventually meet a partner that will take care of her.

Well, if this isn’t the perfect moment, what am I waiting for?

I am planning to live on my own, hopefully, this is a good idea.
