his question is one she doesn’t really want to answer, gaze dropping to avoid his. flashbacks plague her every waking moment, and they only get worse when she’s asleep. the world is harsh now, different, and sleep just hadn’t been her priority. in fact she’s been avoiding it. and maybe that’s bad, maybe the effects would really take a toll on her soon, but for now she’s managing. getting by. as if that was the basis for a healthy lifestyle now. “a couple days.” mumbled, reluctant. she could never lie to kenny, not after everything, but that doesn’t mean she really wants to admit the truth to him either.
