It hurts, being left behind, worse than it hurt to hear Master Makarov disbanding Fairy Tail, worse, somehow, than even her father's coldness in her childhood. It tears at a part of Lucy that she's never been aware of, never even considered.

Because after everything, after all the things they've gone through together, after all the things they've faced, win or lose, she never expected Natsu to just. Leave.

A letter with no real explanation. That's all he left behind with no warning, not even so much as a hint.

Lucy thinks she knows now, what being blindsided really feels like.

It hurts.

ok day at work / kinda hectic this morning and not so busy this afternoon.  i left a couple of hours early

i bought the Samy big work project is winding down and should hopefully be in service next week.  if so, i plan to take a half day vacation next Friday.

the Salt Lake Olympics 2002 hat that i am wearing is from Kellogs Poptarts.  my kids ate so many Poptarts that the hat was deeply discounted.

no big plans for this weekend.  i’m sure you are shocked that i won’t be attending the Fur and Wildlife Festival.  after Ariel being here for 2 weeks and work being busy, i need to catch up on some rest.

Peanut is inside and i should have a quiet evening.

having crackers and cheese as an appetizer and leftover vegetable beef soup for supper.
