TASK 004 — RANDOMIZER #1

Happy September, everyone! As we celebrate (nearly) four months of being open here at Blue Harbor, we'd love to introduce something new and exciting: a randomized interaction task! This type of task is one that we'd love to incorporate more consistently moving forward in order to ensure that everyone is making new IC / OOC connections, staying inclusive towards others, and having fun! Unlike previous tasks, THIS TASK IS MANDATORY FOR ALL MEMBERS TO PARTAKE IN, excluding those who have joined or taken up additional characters following the date of September 1st. Don't worry, though, it's relatively simple! Underneath the cut, you will find every character of BH split up into smaller groups of four ( two will be of five ). These groups were mainly chosen by an online randomizer, with minimal admin interference to make sure that everyone was paired with as many different members as possible, most of whom they may not interact with frequently. That being said, considering the sheer quantity of muns and characters, there may be instances of repeats (For example: A, who has four characters, being in two separate groups with B, who also has four characters) — so don't be alarmed if that's the case for you! That just means more opportunity to chat with someone.

By October 1st, we expect all characters within a group to have at least one interaction individually with each other. This gives you all four weeks to plot and work out a connection— be it random or otherwise — with every character assigned to yours, and every mun in your group! These interactions do not need to be complex, nor do they even need to be written threads. Since this is the first time we're implementing this sort of task, we'll happily accept interactions like texts / calls / facetimes for this, so long as you keep in mind that they will not count towards activity. Ideally, these interactions will not be dropped and will surpass just one reply back and forth; we really want everyone to put the most amount of effort possible into this, rather than doing the bare minimum because it's required. PLEASE NOTE: We will be keeping track as best as we possibly can, and anyone who does not start the required interaction within the given time frame (who has also not opened up a conversation with us to discuss) may receive a friendly follow up! Rest assured, if you wind up falling into this category, you won't be in trouble in any way! We simply want to understand how we can make future installments of this task better for you and improve upon it for next time!

That being said, if you feel as though you cannot complete this task for any reason, please reach out to us. This task is supposed to be something fun and mutually beneficial for all, not a chore! Nor should it be stressful in the slightest. So if there is an element to this task that you are unhappy with, so much so that you feel like you cannot complete it, we need to know. We're willing to chat, help and compromise to make sure that everyone is having a good time! You can do so via the main's direct messages or either admin personally on Discord, as the anonymous feature will remain disabled for the foreseeable future.

Cirque du Souls is a Discord/Tumblr group verse. It follows the mystery of the ill-fated Circus of the Macabre, and how those of Madame Caligari’s Carnival of Curiosities deal with the hell they’ve unleashed.

Premise: In 1892 The Circus of the Macabre set up their tents for the last time after a tragic fire. The flames consumed every soul within that night. Present-day Madame Caligari inherited a mysterious old trunk connected with The Circus of the Macabre. When opened it unleashed a curse. Now stalked by the damned souls of The Circus of the Macabre, the performers must race to figure out the truth behind the curse and the past in order to survive.

︑︒⚬∙︓·⠄Sometimes I feel like I don't represent myself... that I'm a symbol in human form, and anyone could have been given the title of "heir to the supreme guardian." I don't know where the feeling comes from, but I hope it doesn't become the truth.

001. Semi-active, *really* spotty activity. I'm a full-time online student & have to spend a lot of free time doing house work or babysitting so, I try to pop in when I have some free time! A lot may run on queue, and some replies may be delayed; please feel free to nudge me if you'd like!

002. Not really selective in who I follow, though I *do* actively try to avoid frequent posts of topics that make me uncomfortable, such as my triggers: r/pe / sexual assault / csa / domestic abuse / child abuse & cancer. I have really bad ocd, and these topics tend to make it spike due to past traumas! I mainly ask for it to be tagged, and I will not cover topics on my blog that relate to my triggers. *Any* trigger that may come up in my writing will be tagged as "**trigger /**" ; please let me know if I miss anything that you need tagged!! I am unaffiliated with the fandom ( see rule 5 ) and will be selective with who I follow from the fandom.

003. Open to plotting or just winging it. I will often reblog sentence memes/prompts or post starter calls for first interactions. 005. As a final note, please do not bring me into drama. I have been stalked, harassed, and threatened in this fandom before & really am just here to enjoy my hobby without fearing for my safety and comfort again. 006. I am very passionate about canon rep in characters being respected, be it repeatedly implied or clearly stated. As Hoyoverse must work around censorship laws ( that have been defied before, such as Bronya and Seele in Azure Waters ) they still work towards hinting at rep and pulling from real-life LGBT individuals to relate to these characters. As this is important to me personally as a lesbian, I prefer to avoid those who do not respect this. My Bronya is a lesbian.

her breakdown was embarrassing and she hated that she was even having one. "where should we go? we shouldn't just drive aimlessly." gas wasn't cheap. it was up to $1.12 a gallon! robin was thankful that she didn't drive. "any ideas." away from there was good but they should have some sort of plan.

Very sporadically active, taking short and long hiatuses. Life is a chore we must all go through, and mine is filled with unplanned circumstances followed by heavy workloads. Muses and motivation come and go as well, so all that is required to interact with me is massive patience and empathy.

On another note, I have listed muses that I had high muse for on my carrd under EXTRA MUSE INFO, so PLEASE look into it and try to send in interactions for muses with that label only UNLESS you are willing to wait until I have motivation to write the muse you want to interact with. Throughout, more or less muses will be placed on HIGH MUSE, so please take a peek every now and then to see which muses I have on HIGH MUSE. Thank you.

This blog contains mature, adult && dead dove content. I will do my best to tag triggers && nsfw but as someone who doesn't get triggered easily, I may not always tag them. Please feel free to reach out if you want me to tag a specific trigger. This does not mean you should harass me if something that I write is not to your liking. Concerning plots, please DO NOT insert your muses ( canon or ocs ) into my muses' lores without talking to me about it first. I do not like having to rewrite an entire backstory just to squeeze in your version. I am more than willing to accommodate for easier plotting, but PLEASE TALK TO ME FIRST.

I am a multishipper ( ex. one muse of mine can be shipped with multiple others in different universes, so it's not considered "cheating" ). However, this does NOT mean that I will be shipping with someone who already has a ship with someone else who shares the same muse as me. 004. Kiss on the hand

Sounds of flowing water orchestrate a quiet evening in the temple's bowel. Each catlike footfall leaves moist boards undisturbed, a faint passing of snow over their wood. The ponds reflect a stoic visage, a head of silver bouncing with each graceful motion as the spiritual leader opens the way with the golden gilding of his fan; a wide motion, as if he were presenting something to the world. At once, spikes of ice emerge from the water like a wave frozen in time, their intricate shapes & crystals mirrored in the oni's own gaze. Another swift motion has them spinning languidly in place, the fan's gilding guiding the frost into shape.

With practiced ease, flowers born from his flesh blossom & adorn the lilly ponds. Their shine is a sight to behold. But, for all his fleeting precision, it would seem that Dōma has accidentally spawned a couple mikos in the process. A soft hum of surprise escaped him when a certain kata brought his hand within the ice child's proximity, allowing them to peck it. At once, a boyish giggle spills from his lips; tender voice chiming in the hollowness of that room.

❝ Yah-yah, little children! ❞ Teeth pressed into a squeal, boney fingers reached for the decoy, wrapping around its waist & lifting it to eye level. ❝ You are such a cutie!
