The roads beyond the courts and the mainland's weren’t those within their borders dared to venture out on, at least not without a squadron to protect them. Stories of highwaymen and demons risen from the depths of earth kept them tucked away in their beds while Tawn headed out without thought as dawn peaked on the horizon towards the home of a girl, that he could only pray had desires to be whisked away to become a queen. “Think she’ll be happy to be a princess?” A muttering to his horse as he slid from its back, receiving nothing but a kick up of dirt in response. There wasn’t time left to debate what he was sent to do, securing his horse and making the move towards the address slapped down in front of him the evening prior. Three rapid knocks on the door only seemed to echo and  without a thought for teachings of patience, he knocked thrice more and calling out as he did so. “Hello?”
