Zayne sighs, adjusting his glasses with a finger before glancing towards you.

“Ridiculous,” he remarks as you laugh, shoving a tiny camera in his face before swinging the shot wide to capture the large exhibition hall.

“Don’t be mean — you promised you’d help me build my vlog channel!” you say, aiming the camera the giant banner of the annual Linkon Fantastic Flavors Convention.

“I said I didn’t think it was a terrible idea,” Zayn concedes.

“Same thing,” you say, looping an arm through his, “plus, everyone knows you love sweets.”

“Oh really.”

“Yeah, really! Your sweet-tooth is famous online.” You grin cheekily as he narrows his eyes, color slowly seeping into his cheeks as he stares at you for a moment longer before sighing.

“Let me guess,” he says, shaking you off as the pair of you wander towards the dessert aisle, “you made a post.”

You hum, pointing your camera first at this and then at that, distracted by the hundreds of vendors displaying their delicate sugar-spun wares.

“I might’ve… made one or two posts.”

“Or five or ten,” Zayne amends, even as he pauses at booth behind which a pretty girl is offering passersby samples of chocolate eclairs.

“Please, take your pick!” she insists, motioning to the wide array.

You point the camera towards the eclairs before panning up to Zayne’s face, his expression one of utmost concentration. The moment he notices you filming though, he reaches out to snatch at the camera — the shot goes wide, and there’s the distinct sounds of a tussle.

A moment later, the shot refocuses itself onto your face, a smear of cream at the edge of your lips as Zayne’s voice says from somewhere behind the shot —

“So, how does it taste?”

You lick at your lips, flushing as you glare up at the camera, “Would’ve tasted better if you didn’t shove it down my throat!”

“Really? Let me have a taste.”

Your muffled mfph! of surprise barely registers before Zayne pulls back, licking his lips as the camera stabilizes, this time aimed back at his face. He casts you one last amused look before turning back towards the vast aisle —

“Still not as sweet as you.”

Hm... honestly, there's nothing intensely frustrating about it— though I suppose that it can be a bit grind-y when it comes to farming materials needed to level up, and it can take a while 😓 Earning the gems needed to pull (the primo equivalents) is also not exactly generous if you're f2p, unless there are events or you grind lots or the devs give some away 🥲 but if you manage to overlook those, there's still plenty of fun and non-frustrating stuff to do !!

And oooh :0 Omg that sounds so scary??? TO just have a big ass bull charging out of you out of NOWHERE 😭 That would scare the shit out of me ngl HAHAH Thank goodness there's none of that in any of the pokemon games I play on the regular, bc I doubt I could handle it in the earlier stages before there's a sylveon around to help with it HAHAH

But love and deepspace is a gacha game which means it’s basically… gambling. You pull during limited banners to hopefully get the better cards, but most of the time you end up using real money on it. Like a genshin impact sorta deal or obey me. The cards get pretty spicy too from what I remember. I DID SEE CALEB THO… I wish I could be around for his cards bc I always crushed on him when I was playing.

[05/19] Deepspace Trials Progression (alt)

F2P alt runs– continuing my alt account’s deepspace trials progression. I want to replenish my diamonds fund for the next limited-time banner I decided to pull on before I go on a hiatus. This wont be as in depth compared my main’s deepspace trials prog notes I posted earlier, but I still wanted to keep track of how my progress going while I’m still actively playing. I used all of the allotted keys for today: ☆ Xavier : 3/3 - cleared stages 60 to 62; going on stage 63 ☆ Zayne : 3/3 - cleared stages 61 to 63; going on stage 64 ☆ Rafayel : 0/3 - currently stuck on stage 53 ☆ Open Orbit : currently stuck on stage 60

We made it to Xavier's Directional Orbit: Light - Stage 60! Lumiere's first appearance since I pulled his myth pairs and unlocked his companion!! The rewards for clearing this stage is 40x Diamonds, 1x Empyrean Wish, 4000 Gold, and Xavier's special color set: Midnight Vigilance outfit. There was also an achievement behind clearing this stage - Trial of Light II, earning me 50 diamonds!

Stage 60 / Team 01 cleared with Lumiere Companion using moonchaser.

Stage 62 is a Frenzy stage. been stuck on this stage for a while now, but this is my current team set up and stat attributes. will probably look into leveling up protocores before i start upgrading memories.

[05/12] Deepspace Trials Progression (alt)

This wont be as in depth as my main’s deepspace trials prog notes, but I still wanted to keep track of how it’s going while I'm still actively playing. I used all of the allotted keys for today: ☆ Xavier : 3/3 - cleared stages 51 to 53; going on stage 54 ☆ Zayne : 3/3 - cleared stages 52 to 54; going on stage 55 ☆ Rafayel : 3/3 - cleared stages 50 to 52; going on stage 53 ☆ Open Orbit : currently stuck on stage 60

Stage 51 + Stage 52 cleared with Lightseeker Companion using Luminescence Blade. These two stages required the same Protofield Stellactrum so I didn't make any changes to my team set up or protocores. Everything went well~ I was able to clear both stages via auto battle without any issues. Stage 53 also required the same protofield Stellactrum as 51 and 52 so no changes were made. The only difference here was that this was a protect the Energy Stabilizer Anchor stage. I was also able clear this stage via auto battle.

1-R protocores: +6

2-SR protocores: +0, +3

9-SSR protocores: +0, +0, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3

Stage 52 cleared with Foreseer Companion using Everlasting Song via auto battle. Stage 53 is an Activate Beacon stage. I cleared with the same team set up and protocores as Stage 52, as it had the same required Protofield Stellactrum. It took me a couple tries, but I was able to manually clear it.

7-SSR protocores: +0, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3

Stage 54 did not have a required Protofield Stellactrum so I used my highest leveled memories for Zayne. Cleared with Foreseer using Everlasting Song. This also leveled up my affinity level from 59 to 60!

8-SSR protocores: +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3, +3

Directional Orbit: Fire - Stage 50/Team 01 cleared with Fresh Paint Companion using Hunter Firearm.
