Since Cass canonically has big problems with verbal communication (writing specifically), I headcanon that she uses emojis instead of typing messages. Bruce and Damian understand her perfectly, other batfam members struggle, but still try their best to decipher it.

Damian actually likes this a lot, because it feels like their secret language inaccessible for his enemies (he has a lot of them, of course), so their dialogue looks like:

In terms of trauma i mean def Gale, but I'm here to be funny. SOOOOO its Wrasse. Wrasse in ⚡️⚡️THE LABYRINTH⚡️⚡️ is just kinda sad but outside of it.... she is living like she's in a tela-novela. She's a bit of doormat when it to meeting new people (and she's desperate for friends in Lagaard) so she gets wrapped up in so much drama 😭 its crazy. Wrasse knows and has seen almost every type of action in high-lagaard.... It's gotten to the point sometimes where if Cass is to lazy he'll just ask Wrasse if anybody has any requests because she honestly just knows more than him about the goings on of high-lagaard.

For the WIP Ask: 4, 5, & 8 are the ones I know the least about. And they sound VERY interesting! 👀🍿

4- I haven’t even started that one, it’s still in the planning stages. But it’s gonna be a rewrite of Cass and Rapunzel finding the Lost Lagoon. The main goal of it is gonna be to make the lagoon feel a bit more magical and important in Coronan and Saporian history.

5- This is mostly inspired by Rapunzel’s theme song being one that suits her perfectly. And even though Crossing the Line is definitely the start of a mental breakdown, it’s still Cass’s Wind in My Hair. So I think if the lyrics were tweaked just a wee bit it would make a perfect spinoff theme song for her. Right now here’s the lyrics:

8- This fic would take probably place while Cass and Vex’ahlia are still together. Cass has just joined Caine’s crew and successfully pulled off her first heist and the two of them have a tender moment before sneaking off into the woods and Vex follows her and they find a…I guess a projection or vision of the moonstone? And it gives Cass more answers but also leaves her with more questions. Because why would a rock ever be straightforward with you??

2. So basically New Dream,Cass,and Varian have kids. I posted abt them awhile back I can reblog it later. Anywho New dream has twins named Anxel and Ally and then Cass has a son named Jackson (jack for short) and they all have their own adventure and find the remains of the Sundrop and moonstone. I actually am still planning it out and the first chapter is coming along swell.

3.Shape Shifter (to put it d short) is abt these magical creatures who came from a different dimension who can switch from animal to humans. My main group characters are Gianna,her brother Adavaya,their hid brother and her best friend Sasha,and their step sister Scarlett. The human prince after his father died sets out to kill the shape shifters and get rid of them from his kingdom and it’s up to the four of them to stop him and take the rest of the shape shifters back to their dimension.

"It doesn't matter."

"Don't say that." Sarah whispers. "Say you hate it. Say you don't know how to feel about it. But… it matters."

Bucky growls, ripping his hand out from her grasp. He stands and paces to the door before turning and pacing back. He can't sit, can't think, feels like he can't breathe.

"It's nothing but a pipe dream, anyway. Always has been."

"Hey!" Sarah yells, voice sharp as she jumps to her feet, stepping into his path. She glares at him, everything about her posture trying to corral him. "That's not true. This- this doesn't have to mean anything-“

"I mean, do you even want more kids Sarah?" He spits out.

Sarah sighs, an instinctual no bubbling up from her throat. The answer is automatic, created from the numerous nosy neighbours and well meaning aunts that still take to asking her that question, but it gets lost before it leaves her lips.

The answer had always been no after Alex. When she thinks about the long sleepless nights when Cass was still little and Alex gone, nothing but her and a new baby, trying to milk dollars out of stone, it makes her heart bleed. But it doesn't have to be like that, she knows. Before, when Alex was still there or even now, with all the help she could want, it would be very different.

So she stops and looks at him, really looks at him, and thinks.

She thinks about a little girl with beautiful brown skin that carries the strong line of her jaw with the line of James' nose. She thinks about a boy with his father's eyes but her smile. She imagines the combination of his mischief and her sense of calm and… it's breathtaking.

She can also see the other though, the absence. Just him and the boys till the end, and that picture is no less seductive.

"I don't know James, honest, I don't. But I know that that decision is only between you and me. Bucky and Sarah. Not hydra or the flagsmashers or any agency. Just us."

Well can I add, I know newbie here, I'm always talking about Destiel to my husband like look at that, but he was so on point when we said. " "You hear that romantic music", yes like a soap opera, i.e., Jensen was on a soap opera and they milked that "Mr. sexy Castiel" baby up just like a relationship fight all glorious and I wanted more, until damn Sam (who I adore) cock blocked the hell out of that scene. I'm screaming noooooo! Even the look Cass gave Dean when talking to Sam was relationship gold. I was hopeful and they fuckery better give us more. Because Cass did not agree, I don't think he ever could. Thanks for listening, I love these comments!!🍷🍿

So, I know people are upset that we didn’t get a bigger “turning point” in the episode based on the PR (which is a super tempting but ultimately disappointing thing to base assumptions on–try not to do it!). But I actually kind of thought it WAS a big turning point. It was subtle, yes, and quiet, but let’s remember that it may be more obvious as things unfold. 

This is all building to closer textualizing their relationship as romantic. Have we ever seen Cas be so openly emotional about Dean, especially to Dean?? When Dean first calls him he is basically weeping with relief and love (cue Dean’s confusion - why’s Cas sounding so weird?) and then he is JUST furious with Dean’s plan and unwilling to let it go or to promise that he’ll go along with it in a kind of Endverse-I’ll-go-with-you way. (He doesn’t even verbally promise that at the end and, notably, Dean doesn’t ask him to.) Cas last season was hellbent on duty and “whatever it takes”; now he couldn’t give fewer fucks if it means losing Dean.

(And that’s not even taking into account the massive subtextual vibes of “Sam, I’m his husband he’ll listen to me” and “Dean, we are not done talking about this we’ll have a conversation later!”, which I very much enjoyed.)

And Dean!! Couldn’t even stand to tell Cas! Because he knew that while Sam was the person who could talk him out of it (and he did, at least for now) Cas was the one he couldn’t even bring himself to tell. And not just because he can’t do “big goodbyes,” but also because he doesn’t want to soften up and be tempted to change his decision and he clearly felt that that is what would happen if Cas were involved. (Yes, they mentioned Jack, but everything about the way this episode was made really emphasized TFW 1.0.)

It seemed incredibly obvious to me that neither Dean nor Cas wanted to stop that conversation. Like, they were dancing on the edge of something (maybe that REAL COMMUNICATION that we’ve been hoping for for so long) before Interrupting Moose turned up and they were really unwilling to switch gears. Dean especially looks disoriented by Sam’s sudden reappearance. They want to talk it out. They want to communicate. Maybe they’re almost there. 

And honestly, we have to credit Jensen and Misha HUGELY here because it wasn’t the dialogue that made this exchange kind of a big deal it was the way they played it. I commented on a gifset about this, but it looks for all the world like they’ve got real tears shining in their eyes. I didn’t actually expect them to kiss or something…but that was the entire vibe of that scene. It’s blatantly romantic, if still subtextually. 

It’s barely subtext though, Cas demanding “So this is goodbye?” while staring at Dean with pleading eyes is hard to write off as a brother or buddy thing. If you perform the thought experiment where you put Sam (or Jack) in Cas’s position and give them the same scene played the same way it feels all weird and wrong. Because Dean and Cas have the romance plot. The unspoken end of Cas’s question was, “So this is goodbye? Without us ever acknowledging THIS THING between us?”.  There’s still hope for them, and there’s still hope for us. The Donatello plot was blatantly expositional (thanks, Eugenie) and told us both that there’s going to be another way for Dean and that there could be another way for Dean and Cas.

I’m obviously not going to even bother to talk about Nick at this point…I hope he makes himself useful as a vessel for Michael so he can be locked in a box at the bottom of the ocean. And I have more/other thoughts about the episode which I can hopefully get to later. But since I saw people feeling letdown, I thought I’d point out that, in addition to not putting too much faith into PR comments, there actually was something you could call a “turning point” here.
