His height had taken a rise once more and so as he pulled Masha into a hug did he lean down slightly to press a kiss to her cheek. "Happy mother's day. And shh, don't tell Gleb I said you're my favorite parent."

Luka was so strong and tall now. She remembered when he'd come to the Volya, scrappy and skinny and full of fire. She'd told Gleb to give him time. How much? Well, how long had it been? He was the kind of young man any mother would be proud of, even one really just barely old enough to be his mother, who should have been a sister figure instead. Especially that kind. Especially Masha. God, she was proud of her boy. She kissed him back, laughing and caressing his face.

"Oh, sunshine, you know I would never tell him," she said. "He has to know by now that there's something special about the love between a mother and her son."

She studied the flowers, grinning. They were beautiful and she wondered if he had snagged them in a market at their last planetary visit or if the greenhouses had produced such wonderful blooms. They would brighten her office - the little corner of the laboratory and hospital, which was already filled with paper photographs of her loved ones and other outdated tchotchkes from her travels. She had a vase somewhere. As she looked for it, she effused about the flowers, how pretty they were, and how thoughtful the gift was. At last, she found a place to put them in some water.

"I can take some time off to make us brunch," she said. "My boy needs a good breakfast and I need some quality time with you."

001. an esteemed hollywood movie director casting a disney actor / former beloved child star in a controversial and exploitative role. probably takes advantage of her excitement to work with him and/or her eagerness to shed her good-girl image and not only moulds her into his dirty on-screen fantasy, but very likely becomes obsessed with her off-screen in the process. an age gap + power difference would be preferred.

002. a cult leader teaching his daughter / sister / granddaughter / niece / new young wife what a good and obedient follower of their cause is expected to behave, dress, and speak like.

003. a prolific and hardened criminal / gang member developing a fixation for someone who isn't interested in him / his lifestyle. cue him stalking her, threatening her and her loved ones, blackmailing her, all the fun stuff until she either gives in willingly, or he just decides to take her and keep her anyway.

004. an obscenely rich man and his mail order bride / trophy bride and their life in the domestic suburbia he's carefully chosen for them. a big age gap, power differences, + some bimbofication would be preferred.

005. a family dynamic (father x daughter, brother x sister, cousins, uncle x niece, grandfather x granddaughter, etc) where they only have each other left and try to take care of each other in the best way they know how. but along the way, their relationship becomes highly co-dependent and close, and they end up developing feelings and tension they never expected.

006. a gross old trucker picking up a runaway / traveller and agreeing to take her where she needs to go, but then pulling over somewhere dark and isolated because of course he requires some sort of payment for his service.

007. a science fiction / fantasy plot where humans are enslaved by monsters or a supernatural creatures. the humans are assigned as toys for the monsters / creatures fun and pleasure, or maybe even to be bred if you want to explore that. but basically a plot where a highly virile monster / supernatural creature gets their long-awaited assigned human pet / partner / bride.

008. a hardcore adult content creator and the young amateur just looking to make a quick buck making a video together. ideally it would include rough / dark kinks but it can be something they both enjoy and continue doing, or it can be something she's really not into but keeps coming back because his audience like her and he offers her more and more money to perform.

009. a much older man (ideally at least 50+) finally deciding he wants to be a dad so going after a much younger woman to make his wishes come true. a huge age gap, daddy kink, and breeding/pregnancy would be preferred.

012. an only child finding out his father had a love child many years ago which was the cause of his parents divorce. and now she's around and in their lives and he lowkey resents his new sister for his mother being hurt by his father cheating and their lives being disrupted by the divorce, but he also lowkey develops an attraction to her and starts a tiny fixation that may or may not get pushed too far.

013. a guy fathered a child when he was very young himself (early to mid teens) and wasn't given contact by the mother / went to jail / the kid ended up being adopted, and now it's 18+ years later and he's finally reunited with the child he's always wondered about. but because of the smallish age gap between them in comparison to other parents and their children, and also because they're pretty much strangers getting to know each other for the first time, their dynamic leans more towards being friendly and fun at the start, and eventually develops into something romantic / sexual as they begin to spend more time together and get all their overwhelming and conflicting feelings / urges mixed up.

arc 002 : 21-22. even at age five, there was a darkness hidden in bubbles. it was only a matter of time before she lost the battle to the shadows and gave in. all it took was an accidental kill, and something inside her snapped. gone was the sweet and joyful bubbles the world had known. it was time to show everyone just how hardcore she could be. ⌜to the edge⌟.

arc 003 : 22-30. it’s never easy to gain back trust once it’s been broken. harder still when you don’t believe you deserve forgiveness yourself. following her deep dive into darkness, and the steep climb back towards the light, bubbles finds herself doing everything she can to make right the wrongs she caused. it’s a long list, but she knows she’s got support in her journey. even if she doesn’t feel she’s earned it. ⌜don’t look down⌟.

arc 004 : 30+. easy after a lifetime devoted to fighting crime. now a mother of two twin girls, bubbles can confirm that’s not quite the case. especially when the kids come with powers, and the city still counts on you to help out every now and then. finding a balance is key, and maintaining that balance is a must. au 002 : in an alternate universe we find the city of vilestown, home to the powerpunk girls. made up of salt, vinegar, and everything nasty, the powerpunk girls terrorize their hometown, and occasionally  the world. gone is bubbles utonium, and in her place we find brat plutonium. just as cute as her townsville counterpart, do not let her looks or plushie collection deceive you. not only does she live up to her name, but brat surpasses it with an evil, chaotic energy to rival that of townsville’s rowdyruff boys. ⌜powerpunk⌟.

arc 001 : essentially an excuse to have a verse without bubbles’s powers. born and raised in new york city, bubbles buffy moved to sunny los angeles post graduation. she makes money as a youtuber, and enjoys the freedom that comes with the job. in addition to her online presence, she is slowly working towards a degree in marine biology, as well as the arts, more specifically mixed media. ⌜la baby⌟.

arc 001 : set during the events of descendants 3. unlike the royals of the united states of auradon, bubbles and her sisters attended a school of a different sort. sky high. outside the jurisdiction of auradon, the school of tomorrow’s superheroes helps prepare its students for a life of fighting crime and trading quips with future villainous foes. ⌜sky’s the limit⌟.

arc 002 : set after descendants 3, bubbles takes it upon herself to help those of the isle acclimate to life in auradon. she also volunteers for isle clean up and villain rehabilitation whenever she can. ⌜break this down⌟.

arc 001 : one of few fae to escape the fate of malivore, bubbles buffy is a banshee. how did she manage this? she was captured instead by something much worse. the augustine society, tracking her down using the uncontrollable banshee’s wail. for years she was held prisoner, muzzled so as to prevent her vocalized attacks as they performed torturous experiments on her. by the time she was found and rescued, she was able to pass herself off as a witch who specialized in sound magic. better to lie than risk her survival. ⌜science fiction fantasy⌟.

verse 005 : supernatural

arc 001 : found at the site of massacre,bubbles buffy is the last remaining member of a benevolent banshee clan. she was adopted and raised by the hunter (& man of letters) who’d discovered her, along with two adoptive sisters. trained in the ways of fighting monsters, the trio have made the choice to continue on in the family business, tracking down and taking out monsters that had been deemed too dangerous to be allowed to live. ⌜started from a spark⌟.

arc 001 : cartoon based. a graduate of alfea college for fairies, bubbles is the fairy of electricity. ⌜come join the club⌟.

arc 001 : set in the dc universe. the girls were created as a part of project cadmus, were professor utonium worked before he stole the girls to provide them a better life than that of living in a lab. with a little bit of training, it was made clear that the girls could handle themselves and would not be reclaimed by cadmus. ⌜fighting crime⌟.

arc 001 : one of three demigod sisters to share the same father, bubbles buffy is the daughter of the celtic goddess clíodhna (read: cleena). she was around eight when she went off to camp avalon the first time, having survived a dullahan attack on the journey there. she still has a visible scar on her left shoulder blade from the attack. as a child of the celtic goddess of love and beauty, as well as queen of the banshees, buffy’s abilities in this verse are as follows: death sense via banshee wail, sonic scream, amokinesis, charmspeak, glamoring, enhanced beauty, fluency in celtic gaelic. ⌜olympians who⌟.

arc 001 : in the world of westeros, it is within the kingdom of the reach that she has found home. lady brienne of house crane of red lake, fondly nicknamed the little bird by those who know her best. this verse can be set at any point during game of thrones or house of the dragon, but is not book compliant. ⌜valar morghulis⌟.

arc 001 : a shadowhunter with the new york institute, buffy rosewood stands against those who do the world harm while also fighting for the rights of downworlders. this verse will be strictly show based, as i’ve only read the first book in the series. ⌜lex malla lex nulla⌟.

arc 001 : based on the nbc show, not fairytales by the brothers grimm. bubbles buffy is a grimm/wesen hybrid, her wesen half being murciélago. this means that in addition to her grimm abilities, she can woge and has a lethal sonic screech ability. ⌜bat out of hell⌟.

arc 001 : set within the world of the scream franchise. bubbles buffy has no powers here. ⌜favorite scary movie⌟.

arc 001 : a surprise to many, the utonium sisters are all entering into their debut seasons together, thanks to the eldest’s year abroad and the youngest’s pleas with their father. after all, they’d always done everything together, and with her skills as a social butterfly, bubbles buffy is sure to do well this season despite her youth. ⌜novel romance⌟.

The shiny, chrome interior of the Volya betrayed no reflection as Strahd von Zarovich, ruler of all Barovia, swept through the halls towards the captain’s ready room. The ship’s crew afforded him a wide, respectful berth, but he could feel eyes upon him. Dressed in fine furs and silks, he looked very nearly ceremonial. Rahadin walked at his side, silent and dangerous. Yelena had explicit orders to run Ravenloft in his stead and the hopeful consorts who wished to one day be named “queen” or “crown prince”, had their duties, too. 

He brought Rahadin, lest he need a body guard. 

Negotiations upon the Volya were always risky though it was politically neutral ground. The captain was none-too-fond of King Strahd. If the call had not been so intriguing, Strahd would have let the Volya suffer the consequences of picking up a waif found in an asteroid belt. 

She was stunningly beautiful. A pretty face could tempt Strahd as much as it might any man, no more, but she was regal and familiar. A dowager empress, an aunt some times removed, sought asylum on Barovia and sought her grandchildren, scattered to the stars. It would legitimize royalist claims to the throne of her chaotic planet if this girl was Strahd’s distant cousin. 

And a pretty, defenseless princess would be in want of a steady, guiding hand, a noble husband who could make good use of their alliance. 

He arrived to the room to wait, greeted by a familiar smile, a childish near-embrace as Masha Voronina insisted that the girl who she called “Anya”, who Strahd would inspect to see if she was “Anastasia” before granting her asylum, would be along soon and that Rahadin was as welcome a guest as Strahd himself and for them to both please relax and enjoy themselves while they waited. 

Strahd sat in a high-backed chair, tapping his clawed nails against the table. 

“Stay close but make yourself invisible, brother,” he said. “I wish to meet the girl as organically as one can under these unfortunate circumstances.”

Rahadin assented and stole from the room. Where he might find shadow in this all-too-bright ship, Strahd could only guess. He painstakingly convinced the ship’s computer to darken the chamber and his eyes adjusted comfortably. Now alone and waiting, he could wonder what he meant to do if she was, in fact, Anastasia Nikolaievna Romanova.

if the duffers do bring in more numbers in future seasons, i hope that some of their powers repeat.

i know new and cool powers are interesting, and i’m glad that kali and el’s are different. however, it’s not realistic for every single number that is still alive to have a different power. brenner had a lot of stuff, but i doubt he had the time or resources to develop powers other than ones related to the mind.

in the comics (which i don’t take to be canon, just a fun thing to read if u like ST) i think one of them has pyrokinesis (control of fire). and honestly, i would hate if this were to be true in the show. that would be stretching brenner’s capabilities beyond their limits!! fire powers belong in high fantasy such as avatar: the last airbender. in stranger things, in which powers are much more scientifically based/sci-fi related and are mostly done using practical affects with minimal CGI, fire powers wouldn’t make sense. to even bring these about in the first place, it would be dangerous to both the facilities, the workers and the people who are experimented on.

however, let’s say that brenner figured out el’s form of telepathy before he figured out telekinesis or electricity-related powers or kali’s illusions. if he did, then it would make sense to have at least one number just display telepathy.

basically what i’m saying is that their specific power set should vary (like it would above, lets say you’ve got 005 who can go into the void like el but cant do anything else that el can) and should stick to science fiction and the mind
