Shinso/Izuku short fic Thunderous footsteps echo through the empty hallway, but Hitoshi is unable to hear them over the thoughts crashing through his mind like a roller coaster flying off the rails. His fists are clenched tight enough that he wouldn't be surprised if blood starts seeping between his fingers.

Shinso/Izuku oneshot Hitoshi opens the door to his dorm and motions for Midoriya to head inside. He follows closely and makes sure the door is shut and locked behind them. He's hardly gotten his bag set down before strong arms turn him around and soft lips press against his own. He hums into the sudden kiss, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and pulling them closer.

Now, songfic isn't usually good fic, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the idea of Killua getting into some lyrical and singing work on the road with Alluka, since he has no reason not to.

I really wanna reverse the Palm situation on Gon and Killua in the form of a kid demanding a date with Killua in exchange for information. Hell, maybe with Palm there! Kid’s determined to show Killua all the romantic little crannies of her village and its gondola rides, and of course Gon, Killua, and Palm are ?????

Killua’s immediate response is to say no, but then Gon agrees for him, and he tries to argue but Gon and Palm remind him that it’s just a date for some information, why wouldn’t he just do it? Killua really can’t say it’s because he’s inexperienced and has no idea what to do (but subtext tells us that it’s also because his heart belongs to somebody else). Killua reluctantly agrees. The girl gives them their information.

In fact, Killua so reluctantly agrees, that he almost ditches the date entirely because they already have the information, and is persuaded otherwise only by Gon, who looks mad he’d even consider it. Killua is annoyed and says something to the color of “You’re really okay with things as they are, huh?” and Gon blinks, not sure he heard that correctly. Killua leaves. Gon and Palm get to work using some of the information.

Killua goes on this date. To his surprise, it’s actually kind of fun. He doesn’t have to act in any certain way, this girl seems to like his snarky, haughty attitude, and they laugh together pretty easily. Killua thinks that it’s really not as hard to date as Gon made it look. Meanwhile, Gon and Palm consider they’ve been given bad intel after an altercation on their end. They go looking for the kid, since Killua might be in trouble.

Gon and Palm stumble upon Killua’s romantic boat ride, and they’re staking it out from up above. Killua, meanwhile, is explaining that he’s had a lot of fun, but he can’t stay here-- he has a job to do and all, and (he says this with a laugh) Gon would be really mad at him if he stayed behind. The girl nods and understands, says that, really, she knew that all along. Killua is surprised, and she cups his hands in her own (Palm blushes and Gon startles) and tells him that this was all she wanted, just one romantic night alone with the boy who seemed to step right out of her dreams. Killua goes red, because not even Gon has ever said anything so embarrassing to him, and tells her that she’s cheesy. She laughs and says that she could never hold him back from his destiny, because she knows it isn’t her. Killua, of course, gathers the subtext here (Gon is his destiny/the one he loves), and this deep sadness comes over him again-- will Gon really stay by his side this time? To his surprise, she cups his cheeks and leans in to kiss him. Killua closes his eyes and kisses back.

Palm loses her mind with giddiness, while Gon’s mouth flaps open uselessly in innocent shock. He bends forward over the railing so much, like he’s not sure he’s seeing things right, that he nearly falls in and Palm has to grab him and hold him back.

Killua makes his way back to the place they’re staying and finds that Palm is in the shower while Gon, soaking wet, sits in the middle of the room pouting. Killua is surprised and asks what happened. Gon’s pout deepens as he tells him the intel was bad. Killua twitches and thinks to call that girl a little scoundrel. He sits down next to Gon and asks him how he got so soaked, but Gon just pouts deeper. Killua is annoyed and says “What is your problem?!”

Gon glares at him and says that he’s mad he wasn’t there. Surely, even if it had been bad intel, they would have been okay if Killua was there. Killua is surprised. He clicks his tongue after a moment and reminds Gon that he wanted to go, Gon is the one who made him go on this stupid date in the first place. Gon seems surprised to remember that. Killua scoffs and says that the date was fun an all, but he’d rather go on a mission with Gon any day. Gon’s cheeks go the slightest shade of pink, and any trace of the pout from before disappears.

There would also probably be a scene somewhere of Killua staunchly ignoring Gon’s determination to stay at his side to go face Illumi alone or something. He won’t listen to reason (Illumi is his brother, Alluka is his sister, and he won’t put Gon in danger when his nen use isn’t entirely back yet), and Gon is desperate to get Killua to stop whatever plan he comes up with (for once, he’s the one being left behind, who feels he has to protect Killua from himself and how does Killua do it all the time). So of course he goes to this girl, and he begs her to ask Killua to stay, because he’s sure Killua will listen to her... because he won’t listen to him. This girl is surprised and informs Gon that there’s no way he’d listen to her-- she’s not his dearest friend, Gon is. Palm recognizes this for what it is and tells Gon that she agrees, Gon is the one Killua needs right now.
