Alright since you tagged me in the WIP challenge it’s only fair I send you an ask
I’m a Wild Things AU fan so I will in fact be asking about His Mother Called Him Wild Thing 👀
HI HAILS GLAD YOU ASKED!
asl;kjdfgj i guess its kinda obvious which series this one belongs to XD so mother called (new designated title right now woot) is fic nine of thirteen in the wild things au! which means that it'll get written in 2038 LKSFJdghfd so wild things spoilers so im sticking under cut if anyone cares lol
oh right also tw for uuh eating disorder metaphor and maybe selfharm
so fic nine! key also sent in an ask so i'll try to save half of this for her ask but basically this is the fallout fic :D *spends mother calls asks not talking about mother calls* so lloyd obviously has issues with "feeding" himself since he eats the emotions of others, right. he's been undereating for a while, with his last actual "meal" being right at the end of Vines, which is eightish months before mother calls would take place.
(the meal in question is calix btw! note that my guy hangs back when the other characters take off :D it's the most guilt-free one he can find, which is to stay he's still hella conflicted about it)
but yeah my guy's not been taking care of himself, and in the fic before this he finally snaps :D all i'll say about it is think about the game night in rumpus and this specific interaction:
Jay starts laughing out of control.  “Oh, you’re so going down!  This isn’t even a final round!” “Yeah?  What do you have that can beat me?” “It doesn’t matter!  All your vampire has going for him is his tween army-” another round of snickers- “and he’s gonna turn on them the second this fight goes down.” Nya scoffs.  “Why would he attack his own army?  He can control himself!” “Not if he’s starving!” Jay shoots back.  “Okay, I’m not saying vampires are evil.  But when they’re in bloodfrenzy mode, it’s not like they have a choice on who they attack!”
