Also the way her original hood/hat makes her look like she has four eyes. This one rlly reinforces my bias that she's representative of Shamura. Which would imply that Kallamar (Rinor) belonged to them on some level.

Rinor's initial design marking her with a crescent moon, AND explicitly making her a member/follower of the Old Faith with that sash.

Speaking of that sash, that pattern of moons is also found in the Humble temple aesthetic. It also would suggest that the time period is waaaay earlier, which is something I suspected. Present day Old Faith uses only four moon phases, instead of the full eight.

In the final product, the moon phases now have something to do with Forneus, who also happens to live surrounded by Walls of Ruin...

Jalala formerly being a yellow rabbit is especially interesting because its a yellow rabbit (minus the long flowing hair) that's been captured by Helob while the girlz frolic in the devotion flowers.

Rinor's starting animal seems to be the hedgehog??

Based on a discussion with @hero-of-the-wolf I spent too long looking for this screenshot but same energy. I need them to meet and become best friends actually. Twi and Sky definitely share a type.

I also just realized they’re also both are friends with their version of Impa, are both daughters of local authority figures, and both have to deal with restoring their memories (though in different ways). They’d be comparing care advice on Epona and Zelda’s Loftwing and their relationship to spirits. Their Links are forgotten in the background as they go off for a ride. Immediate besties.

They’ve always been able to have kids, though post-revival they need the help of the Rite of Lust to have them(they learned that the hard way long before fighting Narinder)(they got rid of the egg).

I’ve already talked about them extensively in this post so I won’t go on about them here. However I do wanna quickly mention their names- they’re kinda dumb though lol. Rambled a lot so it’s under the cut

I came up with Yarna one day while I was playing the game and indoctrinating a follower. I think the default name given for her was Yana? Then I added the R because haha cat and yarn, and also because it reminded me of the name of that one Doctor Who character. I stuck with that, then I had the thought of giving her a brother, and I named him Chanto after Chantho, another Doctor Who character. If you’ve seen these specific episodes you know exactly why I stuck with those names lol- I actually went kind of insane the night I thought of Chanto because I felt so smart and like I was Winning At Symbolism.

Mary I just made on a whim because I thought of “Mary and her lamb, but what if Mary is the lamb?” and so I justified her existence with a half-shitposty comic, and that’s the end of that

They noticed she got shorter!!! Jay is there panicking and probably starts to overthink shi, maybe even losing hope in this. Kai looks SO guilty like he just sees his little sister technically rotting. He’s so desperate he got a villain which he has a strong past with to help her. Cole’s face is saying everything I felt when a couple episodes prior Nya couldn’t maintain her own body. He looks so fricking sad guys this is not funny!
