BREAKING THE RULES - NAMGYU
pairing: ftm namgyu x guard! top! male reader
synopsis: Nam-gyu makes life even harder in the games; and he makes sure you know it.
content warnings: 18+, slightly ooc namgyu, thanos doesn't exist here, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, mentions of pregnancy, breeding, squirting, creampie.
word count: 1.9k
Nam-gyu was a menace. Not in a violent way—no, he wasn’t the type to throw punches or scheme behind people's backs. He was just loud. Chaotic. Endlessly pushing his luck in ways that made your job infinitely harder.
You, one of the masked guards, had the misfortune of being assigned to watch over him.
“Oh, come on, do you really have to stand so close?” Nam-gyu whined, sprawled out on the cold metal bunk, looking up at you with an exaggerated pout. “You’re like my own personal shadow. It’s creepy.”
You didn’t respond. Guards weren’t supposed to talk to the players.
But Nam-gyu? He didn’t give a fuck about rules.
“Are you at least hot under that mask?” he continued, squinting up at you. “Tall, broad, mysterious—what’s under there? A secret K-drama heartthrob?”
Your lips twitched under the mask, but you stayed silent.
Then he gasped. “Wait, what if you’re ugly? Oh my god, what if you’re, like, a forty-year-old uncle with bad skin?”
You exhaled sharply, already regretting what you were about to do. “Shut up and sleep.”
Nam-gyu sat up so fast he nearly smacked his head on the bunk above. “Ohhh? He speaks! And—wait, wait, that was deep—oh my god, are you hot?”
You turned away, cursing yourself.
“Wait, at least tell me if you’re single!” he whisper-yelled.
Despite the life-or-death situation, Nam-gyu never stopped flirting with you.
During the games, when most players were drenched in sweat and panic, he still managed to shoot you little smirks like this was all some messed-up dating show.
After a particularly brutal round, he was doubled over, panting, hands on his knees. But even then, he looked up at you, grinning through the exhaustion.
“If I survive this, you owe me a date.”
“You’re not supposed to talk to me,” you reminded him.
His grin widened. “And yet… you keep answering.”
The first time you really broke the rules was when you caught him wandering the hallways after curfew.
You found him leaning casually against the wall like he wasn’t committing a punishable offense.
“You know you’re not supposed to be out,” you sighed, arms crossed.
“Oops,” he said, not looking the least bit sorry. “Guess I got lost. You're gonna punish me?”
Oh, he knew exactly what he was doing. The way he leaned in slightly, the way his voice dropped lower—it was all intentional.
“Get back to your room before someone sees,” you ordered, ignoring the heat creeping up your neck.
Nam-gyu tilted his head. “You gonna carry me there, big guy?”
You groaned, grabbing his arm and dragging him back to the dorms. He didn’t resist. If anything, he definitely enjoyed it.
One night, during your usual patrol, his voice whispered through the dark.
“Psst. Guard dude. Come here.”
Against your better judgment, you stepped closer to his bunk. “What?”
“You’re my favorite guard,” he murmured, a lazy grin on his lips.
“I’m the only guard who tolerates you,” you corrected.
“Exactly,” he chuckled. “That means something.”
Then, his fingers ghosted over your gloved hand. A barely-there touch.
“If I die tomorrow,” he said softly, voice losing its usual playfulness, “I just want you to know—I totally had a crush on you.”
Your heart pounded harder than it should have.
At some point, you gave in.
Maybe it was the stress. Maybe it was the fact that Nam-gyu was so damn persistent. But you found yourself alone with him in a supply closet one night.
“This is so against the rules,” you muttered, hands gripping his waist as he smirked up at you.
“Then why haven’t you stopped me?” he teased, breath warm against your mask.
You exhaled sharply. “Because you won’t shut up otherwise.”
“Ohhh, so this is how you make me quiet?” he grinned, fingers trailing over your chest. “Noted.”
The moment was charged, the air thick with something neither of you wanted to name. Nam-gyu was pressed against the shelves of the dimly lit supply closet, his breath uneven as he stared up at you with that maddening smirk.
"You gonna stand there all night, big guy?" he murmured, voice teasing but breathy. "Or are you actually gonna do something?"
Your grip on his waist tightened involuntarily. This was reckless—so reckless—but Nam-gyu had spent days, weeks even, pushing you to this point. Testing your patience, pulling you into his orbit, and now that he had you where he wanted you, he wasn’t about to let go.
You exhaled sharply, then tilted his chin up with two fingers. His smirk faltered, replaced by something else—anticipation, maybe.
And then you kissed him.
Nam-gyu let out a surprised noise before melting into it, arms sliding up to grip your shoulders. His lips were warm and eager, moving against yours with a desperation that made your head spin. He kissed like he talked—relentlessly, all-consuming, like he wanted to prove something.
You didn’t let him.
Instead, you took control, deepening the kiss, pressing him further against the shelves. A soft gasp escaped him when your fingers dug into his waist, grounding him. His hands fisted in your uniform, pulling you closer, as if there was any space left between you.
"You’re—so unfair," he mumbled between kisses, voice slightly dazed.
"You talk too much," you muttered, capturing his lips again before he could come up with another snarky remark.
Nam-gyu didn’t fight it. If anything, he clung to you even more, tilting his head to give you better access. His breath hitched when your hands roamed lower, fingers pressing into the curve of his back, holding him steady against you.
The heat between you was overwhelming, the danger of getting caught only making it worse. But neither of you cared. Not when he was sighing into your mouth, not when his fingers tangled in your hair, not when the world outside this little room ceased to exist.
When you finally pulled back, both of you were breathless. Nam-gyu blinked up at you, lips swollen, cheeks flushed. He looked entirely too pleased with himself.
"You’re really bad at following rules," he murmured, voice thick with amusement.
You exhaled, resting your forehead against his. "And you’re really bad at shutting up."
Nam-gyu grinned. "Guess we make a good team, then."
And somehow, you knew there was no going back.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and way too heated for your own good, he chuckled.
“You’re really bad at following rules,” he teased, straightening his uniform.
You adjusted your mask, trying to calm your racing heart. “And you’re really bad at shutting up.”
“Guess we make a good team, then.”
You should’ve been worried. You should’ve been more careful. But when Nam-gyu looked at you like that—like you were the only thing keeping him sane in this nightmare—you knew there was no going back.
The next morning, you tried to pretend nothing had happened.
You stood at your usual post, arms crossed, mask in place, as if Nam-gyu hadn’t kissed you breathless in a supply closet.
But he wasn’t about to let you forget. Oh no.
He sauntered into the cafeteria, stretching his arms dramatically.
“Man, I had the craziest dream last night,” he said, loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.
You tensed.
“So there I was, trapped in a tiny room with this huge guy,” Nam-gyu continued, resting his chin in his palm. “And let me tell you—he had strong hands. Held me real tight, y’know?”
You clenched your fists.
The other players gave him a weird look. “Uh… what kinda dream was that?”
Nam-gyu sighed, all fake wistfulness. “A good one.” Then, without looking at you, he added, “Shame it was just a dream.”
You walked out, shaking your head.
That night, you found him again where he wasn’t supposed to be—this time, loitering near the guard dorms.
“You want to get caught, don’t you?” you sighed, grabbing his arm.
“Maybe,” he grinned, stepping closer. “Or maybe I just wanted to see you.”
You tried to ignore the way your pulse jumped. “You’re reckless.”
“And you’re obsessed with following rules,” he teased, tilting his head. “Except when it comes to me.”
You really should’ve pushed him away. Instead, you backed him against the wall.
“Go back to your room,” you ordered, voice low.
“Make me,” he whispered.
And oh, you did.
Your hands slammed against the wall on either side of Nam-gyu’s head, caging him in. His breath hitched, but that damn smirk never left his face. He thrived off this—the tension, the danger, the way you always swore you wouldn’t fall for his games but did anyway.
“Say that again,” you murmured, your voice dropping into something dangerously low.
Nam-gyu’s lashes fluttered, and for the first time, a flicker of nervous excitement crossed his face. But he was never one to back down. “Make me,” he repeated, this time softer, more breathless.
Your patience snapped.
Your lips crashed against his, claiming him in a kiss that was anything but gentle. Nam-gyu gasped, his fingers instantly tangling in your uniform, gripping the fabric like he needed to steady himself. You could feel his heartbeat hammering against your own, his chest rising and falling in short, shallow breaths as you pressed even closer.
He tasted like trouble, and you had never wanted anything more.
Nam-gyu let out a muffled whimper as your hand slid down to his waist, pulling him flush against you. He was so much smaller than you, but he didn’t shy away—if anything, he leaned in, arching slightly as if daring you to take more.
Your hands trailed to the hem of his sweats, tugging them and his boxers down to reveal– his pussy? You certainly didn’t expect that.
“See– I probably should’ve mentioned this earlier but–”
You silenced him with another kiss, deeper this time, your hands gripping his hips hard enough to bruise. His breath hitched when your teeth grazed his bottom lip, his body trembling against you.
Hastily pulling your own pants down, you pulled out your erection– aligning it with his cunt. Common sense had gone too far out the window now– you were too horny to care.
Before he could say anything, you sheathed yourself inside of him with one swift thrust– making his head hit the wall behind him. He gasped– and you used the opportunity to press your lips to his once more, preventing him from making any of those pretty noises (which you so desperately wanted to hear– but it was too dangerous now).
You pulled out of his cunt almost all the way before slamming back in– the head of your cock almost entering his cervix. His back arched– hands gripping tightly onto your shoulders.
You thrusted in and out of him at an almost animalistic pace– being pent up for so long certainly had its advantages.
You buried your head in the crook of his neck– and used the hand that wasn’t holding him up to cover his mouth– muffling his whimpers and moans, almost divine music to your ears.
Without warning– he climaxed, squirting all over your cock and the front of your uniform. Seeing him come undone did it for you– and you released soon after– pressing into him with such ferociousness and painting his insides a pearly white that he was sure he was going to get pregnant.
After a solid minute– you slowly pulled out of him, still keeping him upright. His head sagged onto your shoulder, the exhaustion getting to his head.
The sudden sound of approaching footsteps made you freeze.
The door to the small room opened– and outside was none other than Square Guard 001.
You were fucked.

it was no secret that isagi yoichi was a beast on the field. his teammates knew it, his opponents feared it—but somehow, it had been a well-kept secret from you.
you’d always known isagi as your sweet, gentle boyfriend—the one who blushed when you complimented him, the one who held your hand like it was something precious, the one who stammered out shy confessions like he hadn’t already stolen your heart. so, when you decided to surprise him at practice, you expected that same isagi.
what you didn’t expect was this.
“are you fuckin’ kidding me?!” isagi’s voice rang out across the field, sharp and unforgiving. your eyes widened as you watched him glare at one of his teammates, his hands thrown up in exasperation. “what the hell was that pass supposed to be?! you trying to hand them the damn game? fuckin’ idiot, i’m gonna kill you!”
you froze.
this wasn’t the soft-spoken isagi who got flustered when you kissed his cheek. this was someone else entirely—someone whose presence dominated the field, whose intensity crackled in the air like a storm. he was pacing, his jaw clenched, his tone nothing short of ruthless.
“you wanna play like that? you might as well quit! i’m not babysitting your lazy ass out here!” his voice was fierce, relentless. “jesus christ, do you even care about winning, or are you just here to waste everyone’s goddamn time?! fucking useless!”
you didn’t know whether to be horrified or impressed.
the isagi in front of you was nothing like the one who shyly asked if you wanted to share his scarf on cold mornings. this isagi was a leader, a competitor, a force of nature that refused to accept anything less than victory. and damn, was it hot.
then, as if sensing your presence, isagi’s head suddenly snapped toward you. his sharp glare vanished instantly, replaced by wide eyes and a deep red blush creeping up his neck.
“u-uh…” he swallowed hard, visibly panicking. “you saw that?”
you raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms. “oh, i definitely saw that.”
isagi rubbed the back of his neck, looking anywhere but at you. “i-it’s just… the game, you know?”
you hummed, stepping closer until you could see the lingering frustration in his eyes—frustration that quickly melted when you leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.
“i think i like both versions of you,” you teased, watching as his face turned impossibly red.
“…oh my god,” he muttered, covering his face with his hands. “you’re never letting this go, are you?”
you grinned. “not a chance.

pomegranatesgossip: two snippets of carlos talking about the wedding in a recent interview:
"I think the thing that bothers me the most is when people say 'is yn a bride...what do they call it? bride...zila?' I do not understand what is wrong with a woman wanting everything to be perfect on her big day. I don't think people understand how stressful it is to plan a wedding. It seems like all we do is plan, plan, plan. And I do love it because I want the day to be perfect for her, but if I'm not racing, I'm planning the wedding. So I understand why some women, especially when they don't have their fiancé to help them, can get a bit....angsty."
"When we had that talk about our future, one thing my YN made very clear was that she wanted a huge wedding. She wanted different dresses, different cakes, different venues, everything. So, I think it was our fourth date when I started taking note of everything she liked—I actually still have the list—so when we did plan the wedding, it would be easier, you know? what flowers she loved versus which ones she just liked. It did make it easier. Instead of going crazy over two good choices, we can easily pick one."

I work on a trauma unit. ICU is more intense care the stuff you don’t go straight home from. You get transferred to us when you’re more stable then we transfer you home, to rehab or to a long term care facility. We get all the severe cases that you will survive.
I’ve seen teen age girls get paralyzed while being driven to a highschool dance.
I’ve seen a healthy 35 year old slip going down three stairs from his porch to the sidewalk (as we all do how many times a day?). He tried to grab the rail and like some final destination shit that swinging C shaped motion of grabbing the rail and still hitting the ground cracked the back base of his head on step. Paralyzed from the neck down. He was on our unit do to caregiver neglect. He had pressure wounds to the point you could see bone.
I’ve seen a women get rag dolled by a car while pushing a stroller through the cross walk. Her baby was miraculously fine. But the rag doll pulled her legs in opposite directions paralyzed from the low back down.
I’ve been on safety watch for a man who knocked on his neighbors door and shot them both. He’d hung out with them dozens of times. They had zero reason to suspect it would happen. He simply had a mental break and told me “I don’t know what happened- one second I’m having papa John’s with my friends the next the cops are saying I hurt someone. I didn’t hurt anyone. I like x and y they’re my friends. they didn’t do anything wrong. But the cops were tasing me and I was bleeding everywhere”. Not even the person who shot his neighbors knew why his neighbors deserved it. It’s that they didn’t deserve it. There was no divine plan. There was no neglect. There was no signs. Something in his brain just snapped.
The thing is denial is one hell of a drug. It says no I’m the medical provider. No I’m not dumb like them. It would never happen to me. When all of these people were living life then things outside everyones control went wrong. If I can tell you anything it’s that One day we will all be disabled.
Statistics are not in your favor to be fully functional past 60. Most Americans live to 78. I’m terrified to be in a nursing home and you should be too. I’ve also worked in nursing homes. Staff will absolutely make you feel like a burden for asking for your burnt grilled cheese to be remade. Currently nearly all of us are all looking at cafeteria food at best. We’re looking at 17 years olds with no licensing taking care of us because they’re some of the few people in the work force who aren’t burnt out and willing to be underpaid for “experience”. We’re looking at care home staff declaring what your allowed to wear in your own home until you die.
Disability rights aren’t a *them* thing. There’s no way you can guarantee you won’t be disabled. Some of our most severe disabilities are progressive so you can stay in the safety of your own home exercising eating right and never talking to strangers and your own body can betray you. That’s a process we have to have therapists come in for on the trauma unit. Your body is supposed to protect you. Then one day it can’t. One day it’s outside of anyone’s control. We’re not gonna un-paralyze you. We’ll teach you how to live again yes. That won’t un paralyze you though.

ᥫ᭡ Day 2 . . . party sex with Theo
cw: 18+!, mdni, porn with very very minimal plot, public-ish sex, i honestly didn’t know what to do for this, mean!Theo, protected sex, degradation, suddenly obsessive/possessive Theo afterwards, Theo lowk getting an obsession on reader, light dark!Theo and content? If toxic and obsessive behaviour bothers you DON’T READ !! I don’t know how this of changed to a super mini story with the premise of party sex but uh yeah.
You scratched at the back of the man who had you held up and pinned to the dirty stall door of the club you were at.
How you got here was simple. You and your friends came to the club for valentines figuring none of you had dates. Spotted a cute guy who seemed to be here with his own friends. The man looked like he’d be such a softdom ‘n gentle fuck, but one of your friends didn’t agree, thought he’d be controlling and demanding. So what better thing then make a bet? you get a fuck and possibly money.
So you flirted the best way you could. Writing ‘Be my valentine’ on a condom and giving it to him with fuck me eyes. And now that you’re here it’s easy to say neither you nor your friend will be getting that cash.
You let out a choked moan as Theo’s hand made way up to your neck and roughly banged your head on the stall door. His thrusts fast and seemingly effortless as they managed to reach that special spot in you without fail each thrust.
“Is this what you do? give any half decent guy you see a condom and fuck me eyes then let them take you in the bathroom like some cock desperate slut?” He degraded. The occasional grunts from his own pleasure just making his words even hotter. It was confusing, he seemed so disgusted in you with one sentence but then the complete opposite the next. “But i doubt it, pussy to good ‘n tight for someone who whores around. Already addicted to your pretty ass pussy.”
He was being so mean and rough. Not even controlling, it was like you were a doll to him. He didn’t care about what you did, like it had no effect on him. Even when your legs around his waist kicked at his back from overstimulation or simply being too much. Or your nails scratching at the fabric of his sweater ‘n pulling some of the threads loose. Your hips banged into the door with each one of thrusts, hard enough to leave bruises.
Theo’s thumb made its way up to your mouth, pushing past the barrier of your lips. “Like this? Practically being used like a doll.”
You could only desperately nod. Your senses completely overwhelmed in such a delicious way.
Your simple and desperate obedience got Theo completely coming undone. Groans leaving his lips while his thrusts grew sloppy. He forced his thumb deeper into your mouth, pressing it against the back of your tongue as a rather sadistic grin formed on his unfairly handsome face.
“God.. you’re fucking mine now alright? Already so obsessed with you..” He’d say through pants before hiding his face into your neck. Sucking hickeys onto the soft skin where anyone would be able to see it before biting roughly into your neck to stifle his groans ‘n moans as he came, his hips stilling in you. Thank lord for a condom.
Your poor little fucked out brain didn’t really process his words, thinking they were said out of nothing but lust so you just babbled agreements. But after all was all said and done and he practically forced you to introduce him to your friends and immediately started acting like you two were officially together, not even allowing you to go home by yourself.
At first you found it hot, most likely due to the alcohol in both yours and his system. But when it continued even after that night it got worrisome, his behaviour getting more and more possessive, even more so after you confronted him about it. And got you hated how your panties got absolutely soaked at the clear red flags.
“No no. I don’t think you get it. I practically own you now, you agreed to that remember? Trust me, no guy would care about you like i do.”

Jealousy.
Gist: Your called on a case and the leading chief of the police department seems to be very smitten with you, Spencer doesn’t like this one bit.
“He’s been staring at you the entire briefing, is he not self aware?” A voice whispered in your ear causing you to slightly turn your head to your right to look at Spencer the owner of the voice.
“Who has?” A small confused frown developing on your face.
“Mr. Mustache over there.” Spencer said a small cocky smile forming on his as he eyes you while you turn to look at the man who Spencer claims has been eyeing you. As you turn to look at him he’s already looking at you, he flashes you a small smile before averting his gaze.
You turn to look back at Spencer.
“You mean officer Smith?” You whisper not trying to disrupt the briefing Rossi was giving on the current case you were called to take in Florida.
“Whatever his name is.” Spencer grumbled causing you to chuckle slightly.
“Now if I didn’t know any better I’d say someone is jealous.” You smirked looking at him teasingly.
Spencer grew pink in the face as his ears hummed a light red color at the fact you called him out.
You and Spencer had been dating for almost 3 years already. You both kept your relationship private the team knew and if anyone asked you’d tell them but you both didn’t go around flaunting your relationship.
“I just don’t like the way he’s looking at you.” He whispered looking away from your teasing smile.
“You’re adorable.” You said as Rossi ended the briefing and everyone got up ready to leave the room.
“I have to head to the bathroom really quickly, wait for me here so we can head out together?” Spencer turned to look at you as he grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder.
“Yeah baby.” You smiled as you grabbed your file folder and put your bag over your shoulder.
Spencer smiled and walked out of the room.
On the way out the room yourself you were stopped by a hand on your shoulder.
Turning around you were met with officer Smith, or as Spencer would say Mr. Mustache due to the very well groomed 90’s style he had going on.
“Oh hello-.” You said a little surprised.
“Hello Ms. Y/N, sorry for stopping you but I just wanted to say I’m a big fan of your work.” Smith said sheepishly a small nervous smile forming on his face as he talked.
You smiled softly at him.
“Thank you very much, it means a lot.” You said nicely causing his eyes to glisten.
“Your books are very eye opening and are what inspired me to join the police department and serve my city, so it’s very nice and an honor to meet you.” Smith said stretching his hand out for me to shake.
As you shook his hand you felt a familiar arm place itself on your hip.
Looking to the side to see Spencer with a serious face next to you.
“Hey I’m back.” Spencer said smiling at you.
You nodded “Well I have to get going, it was very nice to meet you.” You said nicely giving smith a small wave as Spencer guided you out of the room.
“Yeah…” smith responded as he watched you leave.
Unknown to you Spencer had looked back and threw Smith a look that any man knew to mean “stay away.”
Sorry I’ve been gone for so long life has been BRUTAL. That’s all I’ll say…so here’s a small happy story for you guys🫶🏼

Please of course feel free to ignore, have a lovely day.
stood up — spencer reid
pairing: spencer reid x reader ( no use of y/n ) content warnings: mention of being hungry a/n: thank you for your request !! i hope you like this <3 ( i won't lie i giggled and kicked my legs a couple of times while writing this )
You drummed your fingers against the smooth surface of the table, the rhythmic tapping the only thing grounding you as the lump in your throat grew tighter. You blinked rapidly, trying to push back the sting of tears that threatened to spill.
Crying over this wasn’t worth it—you were an FBI agent, for god’s sake. You had seen and dealt with worse. But somehow, sitting here alone, waiting for someone who wasn’t going to show, felt like a different kind of cruelty.
Your day off was rare, something you didn’t take for granted. You had been looking forward to this—good food, good company.
Instead, you were left picking at the corner of the menu with nothing but a half-full glass of water in front of you.
A waitress passed by, offering you a small, knowing smile, the kind that made your chest ache even more.
You hated that look—the one that said, Oh, sweetheart, I’ve seen this happen before. You could almost hear her inner monologue: Poor thing, all dressed up, waiting for someone who clearly wasn't about to show up.
Your stomach growled, reminding you that despite your sour mood, you were still human. You had planned to indulge, to enjoy yourself, but now the thought of eating alone made your appetite vanish.
The door chimed as someone entered, and you glanced up out of instinct, heart foolishly clinging to hope. But it wasn’t your date. Just another happy couple, the kind of people who didn’t have to wonder if they were worth showing up for.
Five minutes later, the door opened again, but this time, you didn’t bother looking. You sighed, reaching into your bag to grab your wallet. At the very least, you needed to pay for the water and leave a tip—the waitress had been kind, even though you had done nothing but take up space.
Then, you heard it.
A voice—one you knew as well as your own heartbeat.
“Hey.”
You froze.
Slowly, you lifted your head, and there he was.
Dr. Spencer Reid stood beside your table, his gaze soft, hesitant, like he wasn’t sure if he was intruding or rescuing you from an evening gone wrong.
“Hi,” you said, your voice small. It felt like the only appropriate response, though you weren’t sure what else to say.
Spencer hesitated, shifting his weight slightly as he glanced between you and the half-finished glass of water on the table. His eyes flickered to the empty chair across from you, the one that had remained untouched all evening. His fingers curled around the strap of his bag, a telltale sign of nervousness.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
It was a ridiculous question, really. He was a profiler—of course, he could tell you weren’t okay. He had likely picked up on the tension in your shoulders, the way your fingers fidgeted with the napkin on your lap, the disappointment etched in your expression. But still, he asked.
You exhaled, looking down at the table, at the small water rings left behind by your glass. “Honestly? No.”
Your voice was quieter now, tinged with frustration and hurt. You swallowed hard before forcing the words out.
“I got stood up.”
The moment you said it, you regretted it. Saying it out loud made it feel even more real. More humiliating.
Spencer’s first thought was How?
How could anyone stand you up? Someone as incredible as you? His mind immediately went into overdrive, analyzing every possible explanation. Maybe your date had an emergency. Maybe it was a terrible reason—one he wouldn’t accept regardless. But in the end, none of it mattered, because the fact remained: someone had willingly passed up the chance to spend time with you.
And that was incomprehensible to him.
If it were him? He would have been here fifteen minutes early. He would have memorized the menu ahead of time, making sure to pick something he thought you’d like so he could suggest it in conversation. He would have done everything in his power to make sure you knew, without a doubt, that he wanted to be here.
But it wasn’t him.
And as he stood there, trying to suppress the irrational wave of frustration at a person he didn’t even know, you were thinking something else entirely—how mortifying this was.
It was bad enough to be stood up. But to be seen by him—the one person you had been trying so hard to get out of your head? That was almost unbearable.
You had told yourself that going on a date would be good for you, that it would help get your mind off of him. The wonderful, brilliant Dr. Spencer Reid, who you worked beside every day, who you admired more than you cared to admit.
And yet, here he was.
Seeing you at your lowest.
“You…” Spencer started, then hesitated. He cleared his throat before trying again. “You don’t deserve that.”
The sheer sincerity in his voice made you look up at him, surprised. His brows were furrowed, lips pressed together like he was trying to find the right words but couldn’t quite grasp them.
You forced out a weak chuckle. “Well, apparently my date thought otherwise.”
“It's still wrong.”
His voice was firm this time, leaving no room for argument.
Your heart stumbled over itself at the conviction in his tone.
Spencer shifted again, glancing at the chair across from you before meeting your eyes. “Can I… sit?”
Your breath caught for a split second.
“Yeah,” you said softly, nodding.
He pulled the chair out and sat down, setting his bag on the floor beside him. There was a beat of silence before he spoke again, more tentative this time.
“Have you eaten yet?” Spencer asked, even though he already knew the answer.
You shook your head, still feeling a little awkward about the whole situation.
“Do you want to order something?” he asked shyly, his fingers toying with the edge of the menu. “They have this great pasta dish here.” He opened the menu and turned it toward you, pointing at one of the options.
You glanced at the menu, then back at him. “You’ve been here before?”
Spencer gave a small, embarrassed smile. “I, uh… yeah. I like coming here from time to time,” he admitted, his voice soft. “It’s close by, and they have good food.” He looked back down at the menu, as if trying to downplay the fact that he had just revealed something personal.
You found yourself smiling, the initial embarrassment of him seeing you alone fading into something warmer. It was such a Spencer thing—to have a go-to spot, a little place he frequented in the city’s chaos.
Before you could say anything else, the waitress returned, her expression noticeably brighter now that you were no longer sitting alone.
“Can I take your order?” she asked, her eyes flickering between the two of you.
Spencer hesitated, waiting for you to speak first. He wasn’t going to order if you weren’t.
“I’d like this pasta dish,” you said, pointing at the menu.
From the corner of your eye, you caught the way Spencer’s lips quirked into a small, barely-there smile—like he was pleased with your choice.
“I’ll take the same thing, thank you.” he said.
The waitress jotted it down, then collected the menus. Just before turning to leave, she shot Spencer a look.
“You shouldn’t make people wait like that,” she said before disappearing into the kitchen.
Your eyes widened slightly, and Spencer’s brows furrowed in confusion before realization dawned on him.
“Oh—no, I wasn’t—” he started, turning to you quickly, his expression flustered. “She thinks I was the one who stood you up.”
You laughed—really laughed—for the first time that night. The sound was warm, genuine, and it made Spencer smile almost instinctively. He didn’t even realize he was doing it; it was just a reflex, like hearing something familiar and comforting.
You glanced at him, your heart swelling with gratitude. He didn’t have to do this—he didn’t have to walk in, sit with you, turn what had been an awful night into something… bearable. Maybe even good.
“Thank you,” you said softly, tapping your fingers against the table in a nervous rhythm. “You know… for sitting with me.”
Spencer’s gaze was already on you, observing you in that way only he could—like he was memorizing every detail. You met his eyes, feeling a little shy under the weight of his attention.
“You don’t have to thank me,” he said simply. “I like spending time with you.”
The words landed somewhere deep in your chest, pushing past the leftover humiliation of being stood up and settling into something warmer, something that made your breath catch.
You weren’t sure what to say to that. Because you liked spending time with him too. More than you probably should.
Before you could respond, the waitress returned, placing your plates in front of you with a satisfied nod. “Enjoy,” she said before heading off to another table.
Spencer adjusted his napkin, giving you a small, expectant look. “You know,” he said, “statistically speaking about 20% of first dates end in one person being stood up.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Is that supposed to make me feel better?”
He hesitated, then winced slightly. “I… thought it might?”
You laughed again, shaking your head. “Spencer, you really have a way with words.”
Spencer grinned, nudging his plate slightly closer. “Maybe, but… if you think about it, those statistics also mean that 80% of the time, the date actually happens. So, technically, the odds are in your favor for the future.”
You hummed thoughtfully. “That’s if I decide to go on another date.”
Spencer stilled for a fraction of a second before composing himself. “You might,” he said carefully. “If the right person asked.”
Something about the way he said it made your pulse quicken.
You glanced up at him, a playful glint in your eyes. “You’re not trying to set me up with someone, are you?”
Spencer opened his mouth, then closed it, looking slightly flustered. “No! No, I— I wouldn’t, um…” He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “I just meant… someone better will ask. Someone who won’t stand you up.”
“Is this your way of asking me on a date, Dr. Reid?” you asked softly, tilting your head as you looked at him.
Spencer’s eyes widened slightly, and for a moment, he seemed completely thrown off. His fingers twitched near his napkin, and he suddenly found the salt shaker incredibly interesting. “I mean—uhm—I…” He trailed off, clearing his throat as he stared anywhere but at you.
You bit your lip, trying to suppress a laugh. Watching Spencer Reid—genius, profiler, and one of the most brilliant minds you knew—struggle to form a coherent sentence was both endearing and adorable.
Then, after a long pause, he finally looked up at you, his nervous smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“…Aren’t we kind of on a date right now?”
Your heart skipped a beat.
The biggest grin formed on your face, one you couldn’t hide even if you tried.
“I guess so,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper as you looked down at your plate, suddenly feeling shy.
The butterflies in your stomach screamed, your nerves a tangled mess of excitement and disbelief.
A pause. Then, he shifted in his seat, his fingers pressing together as if debating whether or not to say what was on his mind.
Finally, he did.
“I… I like you,” he admitted, voice quieter now. “I have for a while.”
Your breath hitched.
You had spent so much time trying to push your feelings for him away, convincing yourself they were one-sided. But now, hearing the words from his mouth—it was almost overwhelming.
“You do?” you asked, voice barely above a whisper.
Spencer nodded, eyes flickering between yours, searching for any sign that he had made a mistake. “I do.” He let out a small breath, shaking his head as if in disbelief. “I think I’ve liked you from the moment we met. I just… never thought you’d feel the same.”
You could’ve laughed at how ridiculous that sounded, at how blind he had been.
Instead, you reached across the table, hesitantly resting your hand over his. His fingers tensed for a brief second before relaxing under your touch.
“Spencer,” you murmured, looking at him with nothing but affection, “I’ve liked you for a long time, too.”
His lips parted slightly, as if the words had momentarily stunned him. Then, a breathy chuckle left him, one of pure, unfiltered relief. “You have?”
You squeezed his hand gently. “I have.”
Spencer licked his lips, nodding to himself as if processing everything before smiling—really smiling. “Well, that’s… that’s good.”
You laughed softly, squeezing his hand once more before pulling back, the warmth still lingering between you.
“Yeah,” you agreed, picking up your fork at last. “It really is.”
And just like that, the night that had started as a disaster became something else entirely—something perfect.

I’ll admit it - thinking of ‘but what will people think of me?’ has stopped me short of writing things before, in everything from writing actual content to writing part of a review on a friend’s story. “What will [Friend] think, seeing that I know that? Even if I explain the actually relatively innocuous reason why I know it, would they even believe me? This is an issue of how something is portrayed in media that I feel pretty strongly about, but in context, it might be better to just…drop it.”
I…tried actually including a detailed example of my next point here, drawing from Anon’s Robert Jordan remark, but it ended up breaking the thousand-word limit before I even got past the introductory explanations, so I guess I’ll write a separate essay about why I don’t really agree with the “dudebro is secretly obsessed with lesbians and BDSM” line of thinking, maybe link it back here later if I remember. In the meantime, the point was - if I start thinking “dang, I think Author X has an Issue with Y,” it’s usually a lot less because of what the author leaves in than what the author leaves out. As an author, one deliberately chooses to explore certain topics, including dark ones that reflect the issues that preoccupy us (isn’t Anne Rice’s work supposed to be kinda messed up? I mean, I’ve never read a word she wrote that I can recall, but aren’t they all, y’know, horror novels?). As distasteful as we might find it, incest and pedophilia and sexual assault and suicide and all those other words you can’t use on YouTube are real things that happen every day. There’s a plethora of reasons why any given author might want to explore such issues in writing, and at least half of ‘em have nothing to do with sex. I’ve never heard anyone imply that Dostoyevsky must have been really, really turned on by the thought of attacking pawnbrokers with axes, much less that he ever committed a murder in real life just for the heck of it. From what I’ve read - though to be fair, my reading on the subject is not extensive - Nabokov probably wasn’t really a pedophile, and Mario Puzo probably had nothing to do with real-life organized crime. I have heard a few people suggest Stephen King must be a perverted serial killer in real life to write what he writes, but those people were idiots. And so forth. Point is, an author examining evil through a certain point of view really should not lead to the assumption that the author has done or wants to do any of those bad things. That’s why we say that authors use their imaginations when they’re working.
Plus, well…nine times out of ten, nobody’s going to make you read a book. If you really can’t read a book without getting uncomfortable because you can’t stop thinking that X or Y means that the author might have wanted his wife to put him on a leash and spank him, you can almost always just…put down the book and go read something else. You can also do this if you’re uncomfortable with Anne Rice apparently having conflicting feelings about God - that isn’t a potential theme that bothers me, but I know people who would be upset for days about reading something that even hinted at someone Having Questions about the divine. Heck, I have a few books I 99% enjoy and I just skim over or entirely skip parts that involve actions I find uncomfortable - my one hard rule is that I won’t willingly even skim anything where bad things happen to pets, but even then, I don’t assume that everybody who ever earned a Newbury Medal is a bad person who likes thinking about such things. I just don’t read their books. Unless you are compelled to do otherwise for a class* or the like, just do thou likewise.
*I was, very reluctantly, compelled to read two books in my undergraduate Adolescent Literature class where bad things happened to dogs; it was the first and last time in my life that I’ve ever tried to get out of reading something, but the professor didn’t believe what I could bring myself to explain about just how negative of a reaction I knew I would have if I read any books with dying dogs in them. Now I still have one of those scenes lodged in my carousel of intrusive thoughts that drive my anxiety level up and make it really difficult not to engage in compulsive behaviors whenever they rudely shove their way up to the front of my brain, but I don’t think badly of Sherman Alexie because of it.
Do you think authors sometimes don't realize how their, uh, interests creep into their writing? I'm talking about stuff like Robert Jordan's obvious femdom kink, or Anne Rice's preoccupation with inc*st and p*dophilia. Did their editors ever gently ask them if they've ever actually read what they've written?
Firstly, a reminder: This is not tiktok and we just say the words incest and pedophilia here.
Secondly, I don't know if I would call them 'interests' so much as fixations or even concerns. There are monstrous things that people think about, and I think writing is a place to engage with those monstrous things. It doesn't bother me that people engage with those things. I exist somewhere within the whump scale, and I would hope no one would think less of me just because sooner or later I like to rough a good character up a bit, you know? It's fun to torture characters, as a treat!
But, anyway, assuming this question isn't, "Do writers know they're gross when I think they are gross" which I'm going to take the kind road and assume it isn't, but is instead, "Do you think authors are aware of the things they constantly come back to?"
Sometimes. It can be jarring to read your own writing and realize that there are things you CLEARLY are preoccupied with. (mm, I like that word more than concerns). There are things you think about over and over, your run your mind over them and they keep working their way back in. I think this is true of most authors, when you read enough of them. Where you almost want to ask, "So...what's up with that?" or sometimes I read enough of someone's work that I have a PRETTY good idea what's up with that.
I've never read Robert Jordan and I don't intend to start (I think it would bore me this is not a moral stance) and I've really never read Rice's erotica. In erotica especially I think you have all the right in the world to get fucking weird about it! But so, when I was young I read the whole Vampire Chronicles series. I don't remember it perfectly, but there's plenty in it to reveal VERY plainly that Anne Rice has issues with God but deeply believes in God, and Anne Rice has a preoccupation with the idea of what should stay dead, and what it means to become. So, when i found out her daughter died at the age of six, before Rice wrote all of this, and she grew up very very Catholic' I said, 'yeah, that fucking checks out'.
Was Rice herself aware of how those things formed her writing? I think at a certain point probably yes. The character of Claudia is in every way too on the nose for her not to have SOME idea unless she was REAL REAL dense about her own inner workings. But, sometimes I know where something I write about comes from, that doesn't mean I'm interested in sharing it with the class. I would never ever fucking say, 'The reasons I seem to write so much of x as y is that z happened to me years ago' ahaha FUCK THAT NOISE. NYET. RIDE ON, COWBOY.
But I've known some people in fandom works who clearly have something going on and don't seem to realize it. Or they're very good at hiding it. Based on the people I'm talking about I would say it's more a lack of self-knowledge, and I don't even mean that unkindly. I have, in many ways, taken myself down to the studs and rebuilt it all, so I unfortunately am very aware of why I do and write the things I do most of the time. It's extremely annoying not to be able to blame something. I imagine it must be very freeing. But it ain't me, babe.
Anyway, a lot of words to say: Maybe! But that might not stop them from writing it, it might be a useful thing for them to engage with, and you can always just not read it.
Also, we don't censor words here.

I’m too lazy to properly write up a little SMAU for this at the moment lol
Thinking about Bakugo and reader working together at his agency as re-connected friends. Your previous agency was closing down, and thankfully, you knew a few people who could pull some strings to keep you employed. What you didn’t expect was to see Bakugo’s name flash on your phone screen, calling you on a random Tuesday to ask you out to lunch. The two of you never lost contact, but after UA days, it became difficult to keep up with each other. No bad blood, just two adult heroes with busy ass lives.
Well, lunch was actually an interview in his office. He didn’t have any intention of letting you walk out without a job — he’s the boss and makes the rules, no matter what the finance department tells him they can and cannot afford. If he could guarantee job security for one of his friends, especially someone in the Class A family, then it was worth his own potential pay cut to keep you afloat.
Cut to a few months later once you’ve settled into a comfortable routine, you’ve found yourself hanging around Bakugo more often than you thought. There were plenty nights spent at your desk to catch up on your hero reports, something you’re notoriously always behind on, and he’d be sitting in his office doing whatever agency owners do. You never asked, it seemed like a boring subject that he dreaded speaking about anyways. Nights like these, he’d strut over to your desk with a cup of tea, telling you to get your ass home before you passed out and drooled all over your paperwork. You always wondered how he knew which tea you liked. Maybe subconsciously you started to like it because he made it for you.
You two never discussed things like relationships, because why would you? Bakugo hated personal conversations like that. You knew better than to pry, as curious as you were. Recently though, you’d gone through a nasty breakup, one that kept you up at night questioning how the hell you got to this point in your life and why you even wasted time with this guy. No matter the damage done to your heart, you still showed up for work, dragging your ass through patrol shifts without a word. Bakugo didn’t need words to figure out something was wrong with you, though. He knew from the bags under your eyes, the fake smiles you’d sport on the job, and the way you sigh when you don’t think anyone can hear you. It didn’t take a genius to figure it out, to look past your surface level emotions and dig a little deeper — at least, that’s what he told himself, chalking it up to knowing you for so long.
It bothered the shit out of him that you wouldn't open up on your own, and it pissed him off even more that he wanted you to come to him. No way in hell was he gonna make the first move...until he overheard you crying in the bathroom between patrol calls. Something in Bakugo snapped, simultaneously wanting to hunt down the man who hurt you and scoop you up into his arms, to tell you that the bastard wasn't worth your tears.
When you head back to the office the next night to finish up your pile of reports, there’s a bouquet of fresh flowers sitting on your desk. An immediate panic floods through you, thinking your ex is trying to slither his way back into your good graces. It takes an embarrassing amount of courage to flip over the card stuck in the flowers, afraid of the words on the other side and what kind of mental gymnastics you’re gonna have to tumble through. Imagine your surprise when you find yourself snickering as you read it, a goofy grin tugging at your lips.

Summary: The brothers get into a fight / heated exchange with MC, and MC ends up going missing / getting injured. The Seven Demon Brothers x Reader Word Count: 9,648 TW: Mentions of blood / kidnapping
Lucifer was someone who always had an appearance to uphold in front of the other denizens of the Devildom.
His status was something that you admired about him. Lucifer did a good job of helping Diavolo run things in the Devildom and you couldn’t imagine a demon who was more perfectly suited for the job.
But, you had to admit that the facade he put up in front of others could be annoying at times.
You knew that it was part of his sin - he always had to put his best foot forward and present himself in the most perfect way possible.
But, you wished others got to see the real side of Lucifer. The side of him that he mainly reserved for your eyes alone.
You didn’t mind that Lucifer only dropped his guard around you, but it would be nice to be able to have some intimate moments in public without Lucifer worrying about the opinions of others.
And this infatuation that was caused by his pride was also the very thing that caused the two of you to get into an argument.
You were at RAD in the middle of the class that Lucifer was teaching when he mentioned a cave nearby in the Devildom that had some of the most unique magical items in the entire realm.
You were just trying to be proactive in the class so you expressed your interest in wanting to see the cave for yourself.
But, your excited smile faltered when you heard a few of your classmates snicker at your statement before telling you that you wouldn’t stand a chance at surviving because you were just a weak human.
You were offended by their words. After all, you might be a human, but you were far from weak. You managed to get the seven demon brothers to agree to pacts with you and your magic was far more powerful than those students could even imagine.
You could see the glare in Lucifer’s eyes towards the students and you were grateful that he was there. At least you knew one person had your back.
Seeing you mistreated was something that Lucifer would never tolerate, so the glare that he was sending them, while much more dangerous looking, was a mere warning to tell them to stop talking.
The students seemed to notice the way that Lucifer was looking at them so they quickly stopped laughing, but then one of the students turned the cards against Lucifer.
They asked for his honest opinion on if he thought that you - a human - could make it through the cave.
And now Lucifer was in a tough spot, because he wanted to defend you with his life, but the cave was not something that should be taken lightly.
He truly believed that a human wouldn’t survive the cave and if he said that he believed you could - then his credibility would be tainted and his pride couldn’t have that.
You waited patiently for Lucifer to defend you and you couldn’t help but feel a small pang of betrayal as Lucifer agreed with the students.
All he had to do was tell them that he believed in you - that you could do it if you put your mind to it. Why couldn’t he do that?
The students once again snickered and Lucifer avoided making eye contact with you for the rest of the class, knowing that he was going to pay for that mistake later.
You left the class as soon as the bell rang and Lucifer didn’t blame you. He knew that you were mad at him and that you wouldn’t want him escorting you back to the House of Lamentation today.
But, you weren’t going back to the House of Lamentation yet.
Ever since you got to the Devildom, people have been doubting your abilities. They had been treating you like a child who couldn’t do anything on their own and you were tired of it.
For once, you just wanted to prove them wrong - to prove to them that you were as strong and brave as you believed yourself to be.
So, you went to the cave on your own. Lucifer had shown everyone where it was on the map so you knew exactly how to get there.
And if things got bad, you would just summon one of the demon brothers. Just not Lucifer. You could only imagine the proud smirk he would wear if you had to call on him for help and admit he was right.
The cave itself was pretty simple to get through and there were wonderful treasures surrounding you. Cursed items and grimoires that you would have never dreamed of existing.
All you had to do was grab one and bring it back with you and then everyone would know you were able to conquer the cave with no trouble.
You decided to choose the least conspicuous item, something small that didn’t radiate too much magic.
But something unique enough that people would be impressed with your feat.
You smiled softly at the item before putting it in your bag. Time to leave.
Suddenly the entire cave shook and you nervously looked around as a creature started appearing in front of you.
Lucifer never told you anything about the guardian of the cave - a creature that only appears if someone tries to steal the magical artifacts.
You didn’t even have time to think of a move before the creature attacked you, sending you into its eternal prison for your crime.
Lucifer got back to the House of Lamentation relatively late compared to when he usually arrived.
He wanted to give you ample time to cool down so that the two of you could have a proper conversation.
When he entered the building, Asmo was the first one Lucifer encountered.
“Lucifer! Is Y/N with you? I want to go shopping with them,” Asmo said with a smile and those words caused Lucifer to pause.
“They aren’t here?” Lucifer asked his younger brother. Asmo shook his head no before replying, “We all got here a while ago - we thought they were with you.”
Lucifer’s eyes were wide but everything about his demeanor remained calm on the outside.
On the inside, he was panicking as the realization of where you went dawned on him.
Lucifer was gone in a flash without even telling Asmo where he was going. He was silently cursing himself as he made his way to the cave, hoping that he would find you there and that you would be okay.
When he got there he searched every inch of the cave and when he didn’t find you his heart began to race.
For once, the calm and cool Avatar of Pride was beginning to panic at the thought of losing the love of his life.
He noticed some of the artifacts moved from their original position and that’s when he realized what must have happened.
He immediately summoned the guardian of the cave and demanded it release you. It was as simple as that.
After all, everyone is scared of making Lucifer angry - that was one thing his status in the Devildom was good for.
You were pulled out of the eternal prison and placed on the ground in front of Lucifer. You were asleep because of the magic and Lucifer’s heart broke at the sight of you.
He carefully picked you up and carried you back to the House of Lamentation where he laid you in his bed and took care of you until you woke up.
As he watched you sleep, he couldn’t help but blame himself. If he had just defended you like he knew he should have, then you would have never gone off on your own.
When you finally started to stir awake, Lucifer gently stroked your cheek with a loving yet pained smile. He hated seeing you like this.
“You’re awake,” he stated, relief washing over his features. You nodded your head as you began to recount the previous events and you felt deeply embarrassed. You couldn’t believe you had been so reckless.
You locked eyes with Lucifer expecting him to say I-told-you-so or to have a proud look in his eyes, but all you found was worry.
Lucifer couldn't care less about being right about the cave. All that mattered was that he had gotten you back safely.
“I’m sorry,” you tried to say, but he shook his head no in response. “I should have defended you against those students. I let my pride and reputation cloud my judgment and I nearly lost you because of it. I’m sorry,” he replied, his red eyes shining with more sincerity than you had ever seen them hold.
You carefully sat up and Lucifer helped you, making sure you were okay. When you were finally sitting upright, you pulled Lucifer into a hug and he gladly reciprocated it.
“Thank you for saving me,” you told him, barely above a whisper and his worries were washed away with your words, replaced with love and admiration as he pulled you closer.
From this moment forward, Lucifer would make sure that his pride never got in the way of your relationship and he would make sure that everyone at RAD knew that you were his and they were not allowed to mess with you.
Mammon wasn’t even sure why the two of you were fighting.
He had come home from an extremely late night at the casino in pretty bad shape.
He bet a bunch of money that he didn’t have, thinking he would win so it wouldn’t matter. But, then he lost.
And they expected him to pay up. But, he didn’t have any money so they took to roughing him up instead.
You had stayed up the entire night waiting for him, worried out of your mind. You were just praying that he would come home.
And when you saw the state he was in, you couldn’t help but scold him as you tended to his wounds. It was all coming from a place of love, and he knew it.
But, he was so used to having to defend himself against Lucifer.
He didn’t even realize he was being defensive until after the fight.
A simple argument that was meant to express your concern for Mammon turned into a heated exchange of words between the two of you and Mammon went too far.
He knew he went too far as soon as the words left his lips and he saw the look of hurt on your face.
But, he didn’t know how to fix it. He didn’t know how to take it back and he didn’t know what the right words to say were as he watched you storm out of his room.
He sat in his room in silence for an hour, thinking that you just needed some time to cool off. He figured you probably went to your room just to get some space from him.
The hour he spent by himself, he was going crazy.
Every inch of his body craved for him to go to your bedroom door and apologize.
He just wanted to hold you in his arms and tell you how sorry he was; but, his fear of you slamming the door in his face is what made him wait.
When he finally mustered up the courage to apologize, he knocked on the door quietly a few times but there was no answer.
He let out a sigh as he thought you wouldn’t even open the door. But, Mammon was stubborn and when you refused to open the door after a few more knocks, he invited himself in.
He let out a small gasp as he took in your bedroom. The lights were off, the bed was still made, and not a single item was out of place.
You weren’t there - you hadn’t been there all night. And now Mammon was panicking, because if you weren’t there then he had no idea where you went.
He rushed throughout the house asking if any of his brothers had seen you, even going so far as to wake some of them up.
Satan and Asmo were the most mad about that but when he explained that he couldn’t find you, they were all on board with searching for you.
After the fight, you decided you needed some air. You knew that you shouldn’t have scolded Mammon like Lucifer would have, but you couldn’t help it.
You were so worried and when he came home injured, it sent you over the edge. You loved Mammon so much and you were worried about what would happen if he wasn’t able to escape from someone he owed money to.
You were just trying to express that concern, but you knew that he wouldn’t take you badgering him as soon as he got home well.
You had only meant to step out for a moment to collect your thoughts. You were only going to take a quick walk around the block.
But, you weren’t expecting the demons that were lying in wait for a chance when one of the demon brothers wasn't with you.
It had taken three days for the demon brothers to get any kind of lead for you and Mammon hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep the entire time.
He just kept thinking about how he would promise he would never go to the casino again. Hell, he would promise anything you wanted if you were alright and they could find you.
When his brothers told him of the possible location, he was there before they could finish talking.
He had never felt so grateful to be the fastest in his life as he approached the location.
His heart stopped beating when he saw you on the ground there. He held his breath as he hoped that you were alive with everything he had.
When he approached you, he saw that you were injured but alive.
He let out a huge breath of relief as he gently scooped you into his arms and the way you weakly said his name broke his heart.
“I’m gonna get ya’ out of here,” he promised as he felt you fall asleep.
He quickly took you back to the House of Lamentation where everyone quickly tended to your wounds.
They left him alone as he waited for you to wake up and as you lay on the bed in front of him, he just kept whispering, “I’m sorry.”
When you finally did wake up, you saw Mammon sitting next to you, holding your hands. He had deep circles under his eyes and his eyes looked bloodshot.
“Hey,” you said quietly and Mammon let out a small laugh in disbelief.
“Hi,” he replied, as he placed a couple of kisses on the knuckles of your hand that he was holding.
You noticed the tears that rushed down his cheeks as the relief of you being awake set in and you wanted nothing more to comfort him.
You gently pulled him into the bed with you and he looked down in shame as you carefully wiped his tears.
“I’m okay,” you reassured him causing him to finally look into your eyes.
“Ya’ almost weren’t,” he replied and you let out a small sigh. You couldn’t argue with him there.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered and you shook your head no. “We both said things that night,” you replied.
“But I shouldn’t have been at that casino anyway,” he stated and there was a moment of silence before he added, “I promise I won’t ever go again if you promise not to leave me.”
You let out a small chuckle at his words before telling him, “I promise I won’t leave you, Mammon. And you can still go to the casino. Just, maybe when you have more money and not all night.”
He nodded his head, agreeing, as he pulled you into his arms and rested his head on top of yours.
He wished he had done this that night instead of fighting with you. But he was glad that he got the chance to do it again.
Because you meant everything to him and having you in his arms was everything he ever needed.
It was amazing how riled up Levi could get when it came to a game or anime that Levi adored.
His brothers knew how to push the Avatar of Envy’s buttons and Mammon was especially the worst when it came to messing with Levi.
Whenever Mammon was bored, Levi was usually the one who Mammon targeted for some entertainment.
And unfortunately, the second-born had decided to drag you into his scheme this time.
You weren’t even sure what was really happening at first. All you knew was that Mammon had approached you, wearing a devilish smile, and asked you to go to Levi’s room with him.
One thing led to another and before you knew it, Mammon was bragging about your gaming skills and he was telling Levi that he could never beat you in a game because you were just that much better than him.
You could see the fire burning behind Levi’s eyes at every word Mammon spoke, and before you knew it, he was fuming.
The two of them started exchanging heated words towards each other and you could see Levi’s sin starting to come into play.
Mammon had a mischievous glint in his eyes as he did everything he could to push his brother over the edge just to see what would happen. Troublemaker.
The next thing you knew, Levi was setting up a game and challenging you to a match against him.
You weren’t sure how it got to this point, but you were too far in thanks to your first demon that you couldn’t back out.
And Levi’s sin clouded his judgment when he chose the game for the two of you to play.
He wanted to prove to the two of you that it took more skills than pushing buttons on a controller to be the best at video games like Mammon claimed you were.
So, he chose to play the new game that he had just ordered from Akuzon - a real life survivor horror game.
Before you could protest his decision, the game had started up and three of you were transported to a world beyond the reality you knew.
You knew nothing about the game and you were starting to panic a bit now as you realized Mammon had gotten you in way over your head this time.
But neither of them seemed to notice your discomfort, still snarling at each other and arguing.
And now you were starting to get annoyed because if this was anything like Levi’s other games, there was a possibility that you could actually die in this world.
And you were going in blind, with no expectations of what was after you or how to beat it.
And as these thoughts piled up more and more, you got more and more frustrated at the sound of the two demon brothers arguing.
You finally snapped at them after another moment to try and get them to realize the gravity of the situation you were now in.
But, blinded by his jealousy and anger, Levi began arguing with you this time and with your current frustrations, you couldn’t help but fight back.
Levi had a sharp tongue as his words bit into you unnecessarily. You weren’t even the one who started this fight in the first place. You were just a bystander.
But before you could respond to his insults - and before he could apologize for them - all of the lights went out around the three of you and anger was replaced by fear.
You could hear something moving around you, but you couldn’t quite make out what it was.
You let out a muffled scream as you felt something grab you from behind, covering your mouth with one hand and using its other arm to drag you away.
You could hear the two demon brothers calling out for you, but you knew it was too late.
The lights came back on as soon as you were taken away and now Levi and Mammon were looking at each other with wide eyes that were full of panic as they processed what just happened.
“We have to find them,” Levi stated. “Don’t ya' think I know that,” Mammon replied.
“We’ll have to split up or we won’t get to them in time,” Levi responded.
Mammon hated the idea but agreed. Your safety was on the line and he was going to do whatever he could to help you get out of this situation.
They went their separate ways and Levi’s heart was pounding with anxiety. He was confident in his skills in these kinds of games - that’s why he bought them.
But, he never had such a big risk factored into the game. He was a demon who could most likely handle anything the game would throw at him.
But, you were just a human. He wasn’t sure how long you could last in this game and your safety banked entirely on his skills at completing the game quickly.
He wanted to focus solely on getting you back, but his self-deprecating thoughts always had a way of clouding his mind as he began blaming himself for putting you in this situation in the first place.
He knew how dangerous this game was, but he didn’t think before starting it up.
He should have taken a moment - he should have kept you safe instead of trying to prove a point.
The idea of losing you because of one judgment error that was influenced by his sin was enough to make tears start to sting in his eyes. He couldn’t lose you. Not now - not ever.
He quickly snapped himself out of those thoughts. Focus on the mission at hand.
There would be plenty of time to be down on himself later - once you were safe.
Levi raced through the entire game, taking on every challenge with unbelievable skill. If he wasn’t so worried he’d be excited about getting the fastest clear record.
He finally reached the dungeon area and took out the final boss with almost no effort. The Grand Admiral of Hell could be scary when he wanted to be.
He finally found you in one of the rooms, passed out.
Levi felt a wave of relief wash over him when he laid eyes on you, but his guilt only worsened when he saw the blood coating your arms and legs.
Luckily, they were minor injuries and you would be okay. But you got hurt because of him and it was something he could never forgive himself for.
The three of you were transported back to the Devildom, and as the scenery around him changed back to his room, Levi noticed Lucifer standing there, looking angry beyond belief.
Lucifer ordered Satan to tend to your wounds while he gave Mammon and Levi a very long lecture.
And there it was again - that familiar spark of jealousy at Satan being the one who got to tend to your wounds.
But look at the mess his sin had just gotten you all into. He didn’t have the right to be jealous when it was his jealousy that got you hurt.
Satan tended to your wounds pretty quickly, glad to see that things weren’t worse.
You had bandages on your arms and legs, but overall, you could move and the wounds weren’t that deep.
Levi showed up at your door a little while later and when you opened it, he refused to look at you out of the shame he was feeling.
You couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him. His sin was just as hard to control as the other brothers and Mammon had pushed him but you were sure he was only blaming himself for what happened.
You invited Levi in and he immediately started apologizing profusely.
You couldn’t get a word in, so to stop his rambling, you gently took his hand in yours and he finally met your eyes as his body started short-circuiting at the contact.
You bit back a smile at his reaction and told him sincerely, “I’m okay, Levi. Look - just a couple of bandages.”
Levi had never felt so grateful that you didn’t hate him for what happened and you led him over to your bed, not letting his hand go.
You wanted to distract Levi from the thoughts that always threatened to cripple him, so you asked him to watch anime with you. It was the least he could do, right?
Mostly, you just wanted to spend time with him and Levi couldn’t have been more excited.
You noticed him glancing at you throughout the night and you did your best not to lock eyes with him, knowing that if you caught him staring he might flee the scene.
But, he couldn’t stop admiring you and your resilience. He made a promise to himself that night to never let you be put in danger again; and, if you were in danger, he would be the one to save you again - the only one.
The Avatar of Wrath was one known for having outbursts at the smallest things
So, it should have been no surprise when he lost control in front of you.
You had made a simple mistake in which one of his books had gotten damaged and despite you apologizing profusely, he still lost his cool.
And you weren’t sure how to react, because while you had seen Satan take out his rage on others, he had never taken it out on you - not like this.
Part of you was in shock, and the other part was defensive because it really was a simple mistake.
But, Satan was in a blind rage and before he could stop himself, he had said some really hurtful things and had even broken some things in his room.
You were hurt, angry, and a bit scared of Satan so you fled the scene, needing some time to yourself.
You left the House of Lamentation, not wanting to see any of the other brothers either. You just needed a moment to calm down.
You decided to go for a walk and just took off in a random direction. You didn’t care where you were going.
All you cared about was getting away from the House of Lamentation for a while.
You should have paid more attention at RAD when they were going over the terrain of the Devildom because, after about thirty minutes of walking, you realized you were lost.
You were so lost in your own thoughts that you didn’t even notice the scenery had changed from the normal lights to you being completely surrounded by trees.
You let out a small shaky breath as the realization that you were in a bad situation suddenly dawned on you.
You surveyed the area around you, trying to find anything that might look familiar to you, but you were completely lost.
You could hear the Devildom creatures skittering through the forest only adding to the eerie atmosphere and making your heart beat faster.
You turned around and quickened your pace. You never made a turn, so if you just went back the way you came from then you should return to the House of Lamentation.
You walked for an hour in that direction and then you paused. You had only walked thirty minutes away from the House of Lamentation, so by now, you should have been back there.
But, still, the only thing that surrounded you were trees. You felt panic starting to settle in as you realized that you were completely lost and you desperately looked around as you tried to decide which direction to walk in.
Back at the House of Lamentation, Satan had finally started to calm down and with every ounce of rage that left his system, it was replaced with guilt.
You were the only person he never wanted his sin to affect, but he lost control.
The book was one he enjoyed reading, but he could get another copy. Besides, no book would mean as much to him as you did.
Satan immediately began searching the House of Lamentation for you but only found Beel in the kitchen instead.
“Satan, what are you doing here?” Beel asked and he was a little taken aback by his question. He lived there? Was that a sufficient answer?
Seeing his slight confusion, Beel clarified his question by saying, “I thought you were with Y/N.”
“I’m trying to find them,” Satan replied and now it was Beel’s turn to be slightly confused.
“They’re not here,” Beel replied and Satan’s heart skipped a beat.
“Where are they?” Satan asked, doing his best to stay calm but his voice was beginning to shake.
“I saw them leave. I thought they were meeting up with you,” Beel replied, a bit confused as to what exactly was going on.
Satan didn’t waste any more time as he quickly exited the House of Lamentation and now it was his turn to panic as all the worst possible case scenarios began playing through his mind.
Satan thought very analytically. He could find you. He would find you. He just needed to take a breath and think.
It had been several hours now since you left the House of Lamentation and you had given up hope of finding your way out of the woods any time soon.
You hadn’t dressed for a long trip through the Devildom woods and you were freezing now. You had multiple scrapes across your body from tripping and falling due to your exhaustion and lack of visibility with how dark the Devildom was.
You slumped against a tree and fell down to the ground, taking a few breaths to try and regain your energy as your eyelids started growing heavier and heavier.
You knew that you shouldn’t fall asleep there, but you couldn’t stop it and before you knew it, you were completely passed out.
Satan searched everywhere. He refused to give up until he found you. All he could do was hope that you were okay when he did find you.
It took time, but eventually, he came across you sitting on the ground, slumped against a tree and not moving.
Satan’s blood ran cold as he saw your form. From where he was standing he couldn’t see if you were breathing so he immediately rushed over to you, gently taking your head in his hands as he called your name.
His voice immediately woke you up and you slowly opened your eyes meeting striking green ones.
Satan let out a deep breath of relief when he saw you open your eyes and he carefully scooped you up in your arms.
Your head rested against his chest and he told you, “Get some rest. I’ll get you home safely.”
You were immediately comforted by his words, whatever fear you had of his rage dispersed by the way he lovingly held you and made you feel safe.
When you got back to the House of Lamentation, Satan set you on his bed and started tending to the scrapes you had obtained.
There was a bit of a tense silence between the two of you, neither one of you knowing what to say to each other.
“I promise, I will do everything in my power to never let my rage get out of hand towards you again,” Satan stated after another moment, keeping his eyes fixed on your injuries.
You could see the look of sadness in his eyes and you knew he must have been kicking himself for this whole situation.
“I’m sorry for damaging your book,” you replied, wanting to apologize as well but Satan shook his head.
“All that matters is that you're safe,” he replied as he finished with the first aid kit, setting it aside and sitting next to you on the bed.
He immediately pulled you into his arms, and kept you there, relishing in the warmth you provided. He could have lost you tonight and he didn’t know what he would ever do without you.
You hugged him back before reassuring him, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Asmo wasn’t one who typically argued with you. He loved you so much and only wanted you to love him back.
So he did anything and everything he could to make you happy.
And the biggest thing that made you happy was getting to spend time with Asmo.
While he was more than happy to oblige, dedicating his time to you also meant taking it away from the things that he used to do regularly to help keep his popularity status up.
Of course, Asmo had his group of loyal fans who would support him to the ends of the Devildom without requiring him to post on FabSnap or Devilgram regularly.
But, he’d be lying if he didn’t say that his popularity had certainly taken a hit lately.
You understood that having his fans was important for Asmo. He wanted to be loved by everyone and he could get really down in the dumps about himself if he wasn’t.
You tried to be supportive and not complain about the lack of time you had been getting with Asmo.
But now you were sitting alone in a restaurant, waiting for Asmo to show up, feeling embarrassed as you texted him.
This was the third date in a row that Asmo promised he would meet you, only for you to show up and have to wait for him.
He would either be extremely late or not show up at all and his excuse was always something to do with his livestream going on for longer than he thought it would or that he was taking extra time to make sure his look was perfect for pictures.
You knew that these kinds of things were just part of Asmo’s charm but you had been sitting at the restaurant for two hours now and you were beyond frustrated.
You decided to give up on the date idea and texted Asmo as much before deciding to take a walk around the Devildom.
You were fuming as you walked around the Devildom and you only got more irritated when Asmo texted you to innocently ask why you had canceled the date.
Asmo’s obliviousness as to why you were upset somehow made you even more made because you knew that Asmo wasn’t doing anything to intentionally make you mad.
You were stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, you missed your time with Asmo and you wanted to express your need for him.
On the other hand, you didn’t want to come off as unsupportive or ask him to take time away from something he loved.
Your mind was racing with these thoughts, clouding your awareness and distracting you from your surroundings.
You continued to walk, almost mindlessly, as you attempted to sort through your internal dilemma.
After a while, you decided to take a breath and reset - being stuck in an endless loop wasn’t going to help you solve anything.
You leaned against a nearby wall and took a look around yourself, trying to figure out where you ended up walking.
But the more you looked, the more you realized you didn’t find anything that looked familiar to you at all.
Your mind began to race again, but this time the thoughts were purely about all the things that could go wrong while you were by yourself in an unfamiliar part of the Devildom.
As you tried to figure out how to get out of there, you heard a group of demons approaching and your heart skipped a beat as you prepared for the worst.
Meanwhile, Asmo was searching everywhere for you.
You had opened his message and you never replied to it - and that was something you never did.
He gave you a few minutes to respond, hoping that you were just really mad and typing out a long message.
But, when it didn’t come, he promptly ended his livestream and went out to find you himself.
He searched around the restaurant and asked anyone he saw if they had seen you and eventually, he was pointed in a direction.
He tried his best to keep a clear mind but it was a difficult task as more and more possibilities of things that could have happened to you continuously popped into his mind.
The demons had approached you just as you believed they would. Not everyone believed in Diavolo’s exchange program like most of the students at RAD.
One of them had attacked you and you dodged it just in time, gaining a deep wound on your arm but protecting yourself from any fatal blows.
You thought that they were going to attack again when Asmo suddenly appeared out of nowhere, looking more angry than you had ever seen him.
You could see his lips moving so you knew he was talking, but you couldn’t hear what he was saying.
Whatever it was, you watched as fear crept into the faces of every single one of the demons before they eventually all scurried away.
You let out a breath of relief at their disappearance and Asmo turned to face you.
The anger immediately dissipated from his eyes, replaced with worry as he frantically looked at your arm.
It was only a gash on your arm, but Asmo would have everyone believe you were about to die.
He helped you get to the House of Lamentation where he was even more of a drama queen.
He started crying for help as soon as the door was open and when you were met with his brothers, Asmo’s face would be covered in tears as he begged his brothers to help you.
It was really overdramatic, but at least you knew that he cared.
Asmo held your hand and gently stroked your hair as your arm was tended to. He wanted to be there to comfort you, but you could tell he was uncomfortable by the way he winced whenever he caught a glimpse of your wound.
Once it was completely bandaged up, Asmo took you to his room and laid with you on his bed. He brought you as close to him as he could, making sure your injured arm was resting on top of him so that it didn’t get bumped around.
You were even deeper in your internal dilemma now. If Asmo hadn’t shown up when he did, you might not have made it. He saved you - so did you have a right to be mad about everything that happened before that situation?
Asmo could practically hear your mind racing. He knew that something was bothering you and he hated it.
“Are you mad at me?” Asmo asked. It was the only thing he could think of that would be causing you to think so hard. You let out a small sigh as you tried to find the right way to word things.
“No, Asmo. I’m not mad. I just - I miss you,” you replied and he could hear that your words carried a heavier weight than usual.
He stayed quiet for a moment, hoping you would continue on your own, but when you didn’t say anything else, he begged you to talk to him.
You knew that now was the best chance you were going to get to explain how you felt and you told him everything that had been bothering you.
Asmo was taken aback by your words. He had no idea that you were feeling like this and it bothered him more than you could ever know to find out he was the reason you were feeling like this.
Nothing was more important to him than you. You were the only one who brought love and light into his life and whether he had a million fans or none, it wouldn’t matter as long as he had you.
Asmo told you all of that but you also wanted to stress the fact that you didn’t want him to stop what he loved. That would be just as bad.
The two of you lay in bed for a while as you both brainstormed, both of you at an impasse and not knowing where to take things from there so that you would both be satisfied.
That’s when Asmo came up with the brilliant idea to have you livestream with him. It would mean you and him get to spend more time together without removing that part of his life.
Plus, the more popular you were among the denizens of the Devildom, the less likely anyone could try and hurt you again.
Asmo thought it was the perfect solution, as long as it was something you were interested in doing.
He wanted to give you some time to think about it, so he asked if the two of you could talk about it tomorrow.
That night, he had come too close to possibly losing you and the only thing he wanted to do was hold you close so he could remind himself that you were there with him.
That was the only thing that mattered.
While Beel’s stature could easily make anyone believe he was a fighter, everyone close to him knew that he was just a giant teddy bear.
He didn’t like fighting and he despised it even more so when it came to you.
Beel looked at you like you were the sun that his whole world revolved around. And because you meant so much to him, Beel never wanted to see you upset.
He did everything he could to make you happy.
So, for you and Beel to fight, it had to be over something pretty big - at the very least, over something that meant a lot to him.
And besides you and his family, the thing that meant the most to him was food. And he had been craving a specific item from a bakery that was a bit far from the House of Lamentation.
Beel had gotten the item in surplus because he rarely had the opportunity to go to the bakery.
He had even been so good about not eating all of it in one sitting so that he would have some extra for later.
But, when he returned to the kitchen for the rest of his food he instead discovered you - eating his special snack.
And now Beel was in an intense internal dilemma as his sin fought to reach the surface and cause him to snap at you.
He knew that you didn’t mean to eat his things on purpose. You had barely gotten the chance to discover all the food the Devildom had to offer so you would have no idea what snack you were eating or that it was hard to get it.
You saw Beel there in the kitchen watching you eat, a struggled look on his face as he tried to hold back his anger. He didn’t want to take it out on you.
You wondered why he could be angry and then you looked down at the evidence in your hand and you realized what you must have done.
“Was this yours?” you asked, afraid to hear the answer. He took a moment to respond, but his reaction gave you the answer you needed.
When he finally did speak, you could tell he was holding back as he explained where those snacks came from and how he doesn’t get a chance to have them often.
He was visibly upset, even though he was trying to hide it, and you felt terrible. You wouldn’t have eaten it if you had known how it was Beel’s, especially if it was a rare snack.
You tried to apologize to Beel but he was being a bit short with you. You couldn’t blame him though. You just wanted to find a way to make it right.
Beel ended up walking away from the situation so that he didn’t end up saying something that he didn’t mean and would regret later.
When he went to cool down, you felt even worse. Beel was never angry at you, so you knew that you messed up big time to bring him to this level.
Luckily for you, during the discussion, Beel had told you the name of the snack, the bakery it came from, and where it was in the Devildom.
You had all the information you needed to buy him more and you figured the least you could do was replenish what you ate.
So, you left immediately to the place where he talked about it.
However, what Beel didn’t mention while talking to you was that the reason he didn’t get the snack very often was because the area of the Devildom the bakery was located in was a very dangerous place.
It had been a while after you left when Beel was finally feeling a bit better.
He felt bad about being short with you and with the way he left in the middle of the conversation.
But, if you were anyone else, he would have already been on a food rampage and that was the last thing he wanted to happen so he thought walking away would be the best solution.
As soon as he was feeling better, he went to find you. He first looked in the kitchen where he last saw you.
You were nowhere to be found, but on the table where you were sitting, there was a note that you had left for Beel explaining where you had gone.
Beel felt his heart sink to his stomach as he read your words. There was no way you would go there without someone accompanying you, right?
Beel couldn’t afford to wait to find out the answer to that question.
While he was rushing to come to your aide, you found yourself in a bad situation with some demons.
You managed to find the bakery Beel mentioned and they still had some of those treats. You grabbed as much as you could afford - and carried - and you were making your way back to the House of Lamentation when a group of demons approached you and drove you into a nearby ally.
Beel showed up at the bakery a few minutes after you had left and immediately asked if they had seen you there. When they confirmed that you had bought some treats and already left, Beel was slightly panicked. If you weren’t there, where could you be?
He immediately began searching around the area, but he didn’t see you anywhere.
He heard a small scream close by and immediately rushed in the direction only to find you sitting on the ground, holding your leg.
Beel immediately rushed over to you and you were so thankful to see him. The other demons had already left, taking your belongings with them.
You were bleeding from a small wound near your ankle, but you were grateful that it wasn’t worse.
Beel was more than angry to see his girl injured but was also relieved that you hadn’t been more badly hurt.
“What were you thinking?” he asked softly, a question of worry not anger.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to make up for the food I ate by buying you more,” you replied and your eyes widened as you realized the demons had taken the snacks as well as your wallet so now you couldn’t even replenish Beel’s stock.
Beel seemed to understand what happened by the look you were expressing and he couldn’t help but fall in love with you a little more.
You were so kind and caring. You were someone who deserved the world and someone he believed he didn’t deserve.
Beel managed to treat your small wound before offering to take you to the bakery. This time the two of you could share some of those snacks.
He had money on him and didn’t mind paying for some more. Besides, you were both already down in that area, you might as well make the most of it.
The outing turned into a pretty good date that made Beel realize he never wanted to be without you by his side. And he would never let there be an opportunity where you could be taken from him again.
Beel was very sweet to you for the rest of the day, still feeling like the events of the day were his fault because he couldn’t control himself.
He more than made up for his small outburst and he wasn’t even the slightest bit angry about his food being eaten anymore.
Though, when you got back to the House of Lamentation, Beel made sure to tell Lucifer everything that had happened.
The demons who hurt you may have gotten away temporarily but when they messed with you, they missed with all seven of the demon brothers, and there wouldn’t be a place they could go where Lucifer wouldn’t find them and punish them.
It was no secret that Belphie tended to start fights. He could act bratty when he wanted to, and if you weren’t in the mood for his antics, it was easy to get upset at him.
And don’t think that he would back down if that happened. He would stand his ground until whoever was mad at him was forced to walk away; and, he would wear a smug smile as they did, knowing he had won.
But, Belphie never expected you to be on the opposite end of this kind of fight with him.
And it was over something that was so small but escalated too quickly.
You had come home from a very busy day at RAD and immediately went to the attic where Belphie was taking a nap.
You had recently been assigned to take charge in a RAD event that was coming up and to say that you were stressed would be an understatement.
You were overwhelmed and on the brink of a mental breakdown and you went to Belphie for comfort, hoping he could help you find a solution to your problems, or at the very least, calm you down.
But Belphie had just woken up to you being upset and truth be told, he still felt half-asleep.
He wanted to listen to you but every inch of his body was craving to go back to bed and it resulted in Belphie falling asleep midway through your rambling.
You shook him awake once more, desperate for his comfort and that’s when he pulled you down into the bed as well.
“Just take a nap, Y/N, it will help you feel better,” he told you and you let out a sigh as you felt like Belphie wasn’t listening to a word you were saying.
“I don’t have time to take a nap, Belphie. Weren’t you listening?” you asked him, turning to look at him only to be met with the sight of his eyes closed once more.
You let out a scoff as you moved from the bed, standing up and gathering your things to leave. Unbelievable.
“Sometimes, it feels like you don’t care at all,” you stated. You were exhausted and frustrated and the words left your lips before you could comprehend the weight of them.
And Belphie took offense to them. But instead of trying to convince you that he did care - an action that would have made you feel guilty for saying those words - Belphie got defensive.
He snapped back with his own snarky remark which led to the two of you arguing back and forth, exchanging heated words.
And when Belphie was in a battle of insults, he always won. Because he wasn’t afraid to go past the line that most people drew.
He immediately regretted it when the words came out and he saw the hurt in your eyes.
He tried to backpedal, but he was stuck and when you walked away he realized the feeling he got from this argument was far from the feeling of satisfaction he got when he bested one of his brothers.
You had decided to go back to RAD to work on the project you were assigned to try and take your mind off your fight with Belphie.
You could admit that you were out of line with the things you were saying, but so was Belphie. You felt awful about how things went, but you were afraid if you went back to Belphie too early, he would still be mad and the two of you would end up in another argument.
You didn’t mean to stay out for as long as you had. You were so wrapped up in your work that you didn’t even pay attention to the time.
And before you knew it, you had fallen asleep at RAD.
Belphie hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep since your fight. He felt guilty about his part in the fight; but mostly, he was anxious because he knew you left and you hadn’t come back yet.
He didn’t get any text messages or phone calls from you and none of his brothers had seen you and he was panicking.
He nervously paced in the attic as he wondered if he was the reason you were injured, once again.
He would never forgive himself if he found you hurt - or worse.
When his anxiety hit its peak, Belphie decided to go look for you himself.
His demon form had slipped out as panic clouded his mind and he raced around the Devildom, looking for you.
This was far more effort than he had ever put into anything but he could care less about that. You were the only thing on his mind.
His eyes were crazed as he looked everywhere he could think of, but you weren’t anywhere.
Finally, the last location he looked at was RAD and he felt his body flood with relief as he saw you passed out at one of the desks - perfectly fine.
Belphie let out a deep breath as he slowly returned to normal, taking in every inch of your body to assure himself that you were okay.
RAD. This should have been the first place he looked and if he really had been paying attention to you earlier - he would have thought about that.
Belphie cursed himself as he contemplated waking you. Would you even leave with him if he asked you to?
He approached the desks and saw what you were working on - there were still so many things you had to figure out for the event and he hated that instead of helping you, he pushed you away.
He looked over the documents and saw something he could help with. He quickly jotted his notes down on the paper and then another item caught his eye.
Without realizing what he was doing, Belphie continued to take notes about things that might help you with the event.
You woke up a few hours later and let out a groan, feeling how stiff your back and neck were from sleeping on the desk.
You let out a small gasp as you saw Belphie sitting next to you, passed out on a desk of his own. Did he come here just to sleep?
You went to gather your papers up to go back to the House of Lamentation. But, as you did, you saw there were notes all over them.
Your eyes widened as you read each paper. That was Belphie’s handwriting. He had solved every single one of your problems that was overwhelming you.
Your heart warmed as you felt even worse about the fight now. You loved Belphie and he loved you and you never should have accused him of not caring.
The work he put in for you told you everything you needed to know and you finished putting away your stuff before gently shaking Belphie awake.
He opened one eye and you gave him a small smile. “Let’s go home,” you told him softly and he let out a small sigh before standing up.
You didn’t get a chance to say anything before Belphie pulled you into his arms, his head lazily resting in the crook of your neck as he held you close.
“I do care,” he mumbled against your skin and you couldn’t help but hug him back.
“I know,” you replied with sincerity and Belphie was satisfied with your answer.
But, he was still a brat and when the two of you got back to the House of Lamentation, Belphie stated that you had to go lay down with him because you owed him for doing all of your work for you.
You wanted to glare at him for even trying to go that route, but he didn’t give you a chance, taking you to the attic and bringing you down onto the bed with him.
Belphie immediately pulled you close, a small smirk resting on his face as that feeling of satisfaction that he loved finally came to him.
All things considered, your work was done now and you could use some sleep in an actual bed so you didn’t mind laying down with Belphie.
And he just wanted to feel your warmth right there next to him - where you belonged. He never wanted to feel it missing from his side again.

Scarecrow: So let me get this straight: a natural disaster carried you and your dog across the uncrossable desert. You and your house fell on top of Nessarose – one of the only independent leaders outside the wizard’s control – and now she’s dead. The people rejoiced because she’d become an intolerant religious extremist.
Dorothy: Yes. I feel really bad though. I didn’t mean to kill anyone!
Scarecrow: You didn’t kill anyone. She died because of the natural disaster. You were just there at the time. Anyway, then my ex-fiancée came down from the sky in a bubble.
Dorthy: You mean Glinda?
Scarecrow: Yes
Dorthy: Then yes. I didn’t know she used to be engaged to a scarecrow.
Scarecrow: I was actually a Winky Prince when we were engaged.
Dorthy: Oh
Scarecrow: Anyway, my ex implied that you might be evil because you aren’t beautiful enough to be obviously good. Then she put Nessarose’s shoes on your feet, told you not to take them off and sent you – on foot – to ask the wizard for help!?
Dorothy: Yes, that about covers it.
Scarecrow: -screaming internally-
Dorothy: Are you okay?
Scarecrow: Me!? I’m just fine! Why do you ask!? You know what? Maybe I should come with you so that you don’t die. Would that be okay!?
Later
The Tin Woodmen: So, you’re saying that the cripple I asked out – to impress Glinda – is dead and Glinda sent you to find the wizard?
Dorothy: I killed a disabled person!?
Scarecrow: Dorthy, we’ve been over this, you didn’t kill anyone. I promise none of this is your fault.
The Tin Woodmen: Who cares about that? Ding dong the bitch is dead! I might finally have a chance with Glinda! Dorthy, I’m coming with you!
Later still
Lion: I am terrified of everything but you say you’re going to see the wizard?
Dorothy: Yes
Lion: Talking animals used to be treated as equal citizens in Oz but now we have no rights at all. As I cub, I was taken from my mother, placed in a cage and kept away from other talking animals. They hoped it would stop me from learning to talk. I was rescued and set free but I grew up alone and without sort of socialisation or education.
Scarecrow: …
Lion: Anyway, I’m sure that if everyone says the wizard is good, then he must be. The mistreatment of animals is probably just a big misunderstanding. If I can have courage and talk to the wizard, I’m sure this whole thing will be sorted out.
Dorothy: Can we just stop for a minute? Will someone please, explain what’s going on? I feel like I’m missing a whole lot of contexts here.
Toto: Just so you know: in later books, in the official original L. Frank Baum Oz series, it will be reveal that all animals in Oz can talk. I just didn’t feel like talking in the first book.
While the Wicked book by Gregory Maguire covers a lot of interesting, important and deep topics; it was unrelentingly depressing and the narration showed little to no sympathy for the women who suffer horrible things.
The L. Frank Baum books – though by no means perfect – have a far more progressive Land of Oz than the one Gregory Maguire wrote about. If fact, Gregory Maguire took a world that had women in most of the important positions of power and turned it into a sexist, racist and patriarchal world.
I prefer Wicked the musical to Wicked the book because the musical brought the fun back.
Dorothy: Did you say something Toto?
Toto: Woof no woof, woof
I’ve seen so many people joke about Glinda being exhausted having to cope with plucky little Dorothy Gale doing her little song while the entirety of act ii of Wicked is occurring in the background. Like the crushing weight of her complicity in an evil system is dragging her to hell and also her fiancé is now a scarecrow and has run off with her situationship. But the act ii context is actually exponentially crazier for Dorothy? Like imagine you are a fifteen year old whose admittedly unambitious dreams of just leaving the farm are already rendered impossible because you are staring down the double barrel of unprecedented rural poverty and climate crisis. You get caught out in a natural disaster and accidentally kill someone and end up straight in the middle of the craziest six-way divorce anyone has ever heard of that is currently actively melting down. No one tells you this. And they’re all taking it out on you. Free her!!!!!!

Tommy finds Buck sitting alone on the rooftop of his apartment building in the dead of night, a blanket draped around his shoulders, a half-empty beer bottle beside him. It’s freezing, and the city below hums with life, but up here, it’s just the two of them.
Neither of them has spoken in months. The kind of silence that isn’t just about words but about everything left unsaid.
Tommy stands there for a moment, unsure. Buck doesn’t look over, just exhales, a cloud of breath visible in the cold air.
“You shouldn’t be up here alone.”
Buck lets out a humorless laugh. “You shouldn’t be here at all.”
Tommy swallows.
He could leave.
Maybe he should.
But instead, he says, “You called me.”
Buck finally turns, his eyes tired, hollow in a way that Tommy isn’t used to seeing. Like he’s been holding something heavy, something breaking him from the inside out. “I didn’t mean to.”
Tommy offers a small smile. “Yeah, you did.”
Buck looks away, gripping the beer bottle like it might hold him together. His voice, when he speaks, is quiet. Fractured. “I kept telling myself I was fine. That I was getting better.” He lets out a shaky breath. “Maddie is safe now, and Chim’s taking care of her. Eddie is probably happy with Chris, just like he should be. And you…”
“Me?”
Buck laughs, but it’s a hollow sound. “You’re fine, too. You’re always fine I guess.” He shakes his head, staring out at the city. “So why am I the only one who still feels like this?”
“Buck—”
Buck cuts him off, his voice breaking. “Tonight, I just—I don’t know. I just needed to hear your voice.”
Tommy exhales sharply. “So you called.”
Buck nods. His knuckles go white around the bottle. “Yeah.” He laughs bitterly. “And the worst part? The second you picked up—because of course you did, I didn’t know what to say. I just—” He shrugs, his voice breaking. “I just wanted you.”
Tommy's chest tightens like someone’s squeezing the air out of him. He looks away, gripping the edge of the rooftop like it might anchor him. He shouldn’t say it. He knows that. But it’s late, and it’s cold, and Buck is sitting here looking like he’s one wrong word away from falling apart.
So, against all his better judgment, Tommy whispers, “Okay, say it now.”
Buck’s breath catches. He looks at Tommy then, like he’s searching for something. A reason. A lifeline.
The wind howls, and for the first time in months, Buck speaks the truth. “I miss you.”
Tommy closes his eyes. He didn’t want this for Buck when he left. He thought walking away would make it easier, that Buck would be fine, that he’d move on, be happy. But hearing it now—feeling it in the way Buck’s voice breaks—it just feels like he got everything wrong.
He hesitates before sitting down beside him.
Tommy barely has time to settle before Buck leans into him, his head dropping against Tommy’s shoulder like he doesn’t even have the strength to hold himself up anymore.
The breath Buck exhales is unsteady, like he’s been holding it in for too long, like he’s afraid to let go completely. His fingers tighten briefly around the bottle before going slack, the tension in his body melting away, even if only for a moment.
Tommy’s eyes catch on something next to the beer bottles—a small plate of cookies, untouched, sitting on a napkin.
He frowns. “cookies?”
Buck exhales, a quiet, humorless laugh. “Yeah, I made them.” A beat passes. Then, without looking at him, Buck shrugs. “Before I called you.”
Tommy doesn’t know why that sticks with him. Why it feels heavier than everything else.
He doesn’t ask about it. But something about them feels sad.
And instead of leaving, he reaches for Buck’s hand. He doesn’t say it back—not yet.
But he stays.

michael kaiser wanted to be loved.
he wanted unconditional, ethereal, and never ending love. he wanted to always be supported, that no matter what he did, he will always and still be loved. he wanted the constant feeling of being supported no matter what, that he’s a lovable creature, that he isn’t subhuman like his father had once told him.
soccer brought that to kaiser.
with soccer came satisfaction. he would crush his rivals, his enemies, and each time, he felt a little bit more human, a little bit more loved. it got to the point where that feeling of pleasure and accomplishment became addictive for kaiser, and his sole purpose for playing soccer was to crush his opponents and receiving more and more love.
he became so obsessed with the glory that came from soccer that he began neglecting his own health and harming himself whenever things didn’t go his way when it came to soccer. his fingers wrapped tightly around his throat was once an action of his father, although it now carried on to him. bruises on his body was something that carried on from his childhood to his adult life, even though he had managed to escape his father when he was 15 after having been recruited from the prison.
whenever he lost a soccer match, he would go back to his room and cut off his airflow with his tattooed hand pressing right above the base of his neck as he struggled for oxygen, coughs constantly escaping him. it was only natural; after all, he lost a soccer match. he lost a bit of his humanity and love. he was just becoming subhuman again.
kaiser became so obsessed with soccer that he didn’t even realize that someone who loved him unconditionally was right there, right in front of him this whole time, and yet he was so caught up in his own life that he never even realized.
you and kaiser were childhood best friends. he was your mihya, not michael, no kaiser. he was small, weak, and couldn’t stand up to his father. he didn’t know how to speak to people in a kind manner. he bled when he fell on concrete, and yet he never cried. his face was always covered in grime and dried blood, his body was always littered in bruises, and yet he never cried in front of you. it took months after meeting you for him to finally even smile in front of you.
the first time kaiser ever cried in front of you was when you had gotten him a gift for his birthday.
kaiser never knew how to react to gifts, so he didn’t enjoy receiving them. but it was his eighth birthday, you were obviously going to get your best friend a gift. it was just a simple keychain of a blue rose, a flower you knew he liked. when you handed it to him with a cheerful “happy birthday, mihya!”, tears had sprung to his eyes.
he asked you why you were willing to give him a gift, why you were willing to spend time with him. when you just answered with a worried look and quiet “well, you’re my best friend, of course i would”, kaiser knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you.
maybe that was why his descent into madness and obsession hit you harder than it did kaiser.
you had indeed stuck with him, even now, at nineteen. twelve years after your initial meeting. you’ve had a crush on him for exactly as long as you had both met, spiraling from a small childhood crush to being deeply and hopeless in love and attached to him. and yet you had no idea whether kaiser liked you or not; he was too obsessed with soccer to show any signs.
whenever kaiser lost a match, you knew that he was going to commit to a session of harming himself for at least an hour so again. somehow, you felt more pain that kaiser did when he did so, always outside of his door, banging for him to stop and begging him to not do this to himself every time while tears escaped your eyes. you loved him; you didn’t want the boy you loved to be so willing and constant with hurting himself.
he ignored you every time, occasionally telling you to go away or mind your own business.
you had enough with it one day. you were sick of it, constantly hearing his choked noises from his bedroom every time he lost a match. finally, one day, when kaiser lost a match, he stormed off to his room again. but before he could slam the door shut, you shoved your entire body weight against the door, trying to stop it from shutting.
“what the fuck are you doing?” kaiser hissed, trying to push the door shut. “mind your own business. i’ll be done soon enough.” but no avail; you continued your weak attempts of pushing the door open. kaiser scoffed from the other side. he usually avoided getting mad at you, although it was hard for him to do so in the first place. but now you were starting to piss him off. can’t he offer himself a therapeutic session in peace?
“no! mihya, stop it and just open the door.” you were beginning to get pushed back from the door, before you used your final backup plan and shoved your arm in between the open space left from the door. you yelped from the pain, and kaiser instantly lost all anger at that moment, pulling open the door immediately when he heard your yelp. you stepped into the room stiffly.
“are you retarded? what the fuck do you think you’re doing?” kaiser exclaimed, wide eyed as you clutched your arm, which was beginning to turn into the color of a rotting plum. you turned to glare at him, angry tears springing to your eyes.
“i’ll do this shit every fucking time for as long as you keep doing this to yourself every damn time you lost a match, you idiot.” you replied. you sighed before looking down somberly. “how long are you going to keep doing this to yourself, mihya? you’re obsessed with fame. you’re obsessed with all of this. you’re enjoying ruining the lives of other people for love. mihya, that’s not worth it. that’s not worth your body. that’s not worth your mentality.”
kaiser felt anger bubbling up inside of him again, and before he realized his, his voice raised to a level that he would usually never dare to use with you, although he would be fine using this tone with anyone else. “you don’t fucking understand! your father never called you a subhuman! he never choked you for no reason! your mother never left you! your father never beat you every day no particular reason! your father didn’t require you to steal every fucking day because his fatass can’t move two meters from the couch and his precious beer! soccer makes me feel loved! soccer makes me feel human! soccer is with me!”
for a moment, you stood there silently. you stared at him as he huffed, his breathing shallow from the loud rant. his eyes were sharp, and in that moment, only one thought ran through your head.
this was still your mihya.
he was yelling at you, you knew that. but he has every right to say all of this, to be mad at the world, at you. he has every right to be upset, to be angry. he has every right to rant about his trauma. he has every right to trauma dump. but at the same time, he’s missing a key component here.
“well, would soccer still be with you if you were nobody?! would all of those fans and self-satisfying thoughts still love you if you were no one?!” you shouted. your eyebrows knit together; did he not realize how fabricating this all was? how shallow this all was?
“no one loved me when i was no one!” kaiser hollered back. “no one loved me when i was just some stupid brat who spent most of his time outside of his house wandering on the streets! no one loved me when my father still used to beat me every day like some fucking punching back! no one loved me when i was still just a subhuman!”
and at that moment, a tear leaked from the corner of your eye. shit, this wasn’t even your problem, and yet angry tears were still flowing. your fists clenched, before finally, you screamed. “i loved you were you were no one!” finally, you finally finally finally got it out. kaiser froze, but you kept on going. “i loved you when you still wore dirty clothes every day! i loved you when you didn’t even know how to say a polite word to anyone! i loved you when you were still small and stupid and you!”
your lips quivered, more tears threatening to fall. you wiped your eyes. “before the ‘love’. before the fame. before soccer. and mihya,” you placed a hand on your swelling arm, that was going from rotting plum purple to the blue of kaiser’s eyes. “i still love you. i love you. but if you just can’t accept it and you’ll continue to wallow in that stupid destructive self-pity of yours where you think that no one loves you, then don’t come crawling back to me!”
you turned around to leave the room, your hand on the door knob, until a warm pair of arms wrapped around your waist. your felt tears begin to soak through your shirt from your shoulder, and your eyes widened. he’s crying?
“goddamn it, i don’t know why im fucking crying. i shouldn’t be. but what the fuck…” kaiser whispered into your shoulder. “i—i-“ he gulped, and your could see his hands interlock together as they squeezed the other like a lifeline. “i love you too.”
finally.
you turned around, separating his hands from the other and intertwining your fingers with his. you smiled softly at him, a small sniffle escaping you. “you said it. im so proud of you, mihya.” you knew how much trouble he had saying those words. how hard it was to say something that you had never heard before. “and i love you.”
silently, you got on your tip-toes, your lips almost touching his, before a few quiet words escaped you. “is this okay?”
kaiser huffed quietly. “way to ruin to moment. you’re this far into the process, and now you’re asking? but fuck yes.” you laughed before you softly planted your lips onto his.
the kiss wasn’t rough in the least, but it spoke of years of pent up emotion and unspoken pain. kaiser untangled his fingers from your and cupped your face so strangely gently, which he silently swore in his heart at that moment that he would never hold someone else like this, like the love of his life.
and when kaiser pulled away from the kiss, just a bit out of breath but just right, that’s when he saw it. deep in your eyes, and also in his.
the look of love.

a/n: i watched shark tale for the first time the other day, and it had NO RIGHT being that good. the angie and oscar argument changed me forever, and it inspired me to make this. i was originally going to make this for isagi before i realized that isagi is AWARE that his parents love him, and that this prompt also matches with kaiser better.

Hilarious to be a musk fanboy on tumblr first of all, like are you lost man?
Second of all, hilarious to be a musk fan boy who somehow didn’t hear about his whole path of exile 2 character debacle
youtube
Sure he did pay for his gear but he also just paid someone else to play the game for him and grind a character to the highest possible level so he could show it off on stream, where he revealed he knows absolutely nothing about the basic game mechanics.
You gotta stop sucking his dick and buying into his image dude, the entire thing is built on bullshit top to bottom.
elon musk is such an idiotic loser. he bought twitter to penalize anyone who criticizes him. he made a burner account to praise himself and to call himself handsome and a good father. he paid someone to make it look like he was good at video games. and now he’s stepping into the US government to allow him to do whatever he wants because he’s a control freak who will never be happy. he’s the kid on the playground who makes up new rules whenever he lost. why is the world’s richest man acting so unemployed. he’s the world’s biggest piss baby. the world’s richest man is the hugest loser to ever live.

{ 13 } Mine. ✧. ┊ s.jinwoo x fem!reader
Sung Jinwoo wasn’t the type to get jealous.
At least, that’s what he told himself.
He had fought god-like beings, commanded entire armies of darkness, and held the power to crush the world.
And yet—
None of that mattered anymore when he saw another man getting so close to you.
The scene played out like a terrible cliché: a guy in a suit at a party, smiling charmingly at you, standing a little too close. Jinwoo watched as the man leaned in, his hand casually placed on the bar counter next to you, practically trapping you inside.
Jinwoo saw red.
This was supposed to be a normal night out—a simple gala, some socializing, nothing more.
But that was before.
Your laugh rang out over the music, but Jinwoo knew that laugh. It was your polite, I-don’t-want-to-be-rude laugh. The kind you used when you didn’t want to cause a scene.
The guy leaned in even closer, and that was it.
Jinwoo moved.
Silent, precise. Shadows followed in his wake, curling around the floor like they, too, were eager to stake their claim. Within seconds, he was behind you, his presence washing over you like a wave of heat.
Then—his hands were on you.
One on your waist, the other sliding up to rest against your bare shoulder, fingers pressing into your skin just enough to remind you who you belonged to.
You stiffened briefly before relaxing into his touch because you knew.
You knew exactly who it was.
Jinwoo didn’t even glance at the man in front of you. He didn’t need to. His presence alone was enough to suffocate him.
Instead, his lips brushed the shell of your ear as he murmured, voice smooth but dangerously low—
“Are you having fun, sweetheart?”
You swallowed, turning slightly in his grip, but his hand on your waist only tightened.
“Jin—”
His eyes flickered, dark and possessive as they locked onto yours. He wasn’t angry at you—but he was something else entirely.
“You didn’t answer me,” he said softly, but there was an unmistakable edge beneath the words.
The man finally seemed to realize his mistake. He cleared his throat, attempting to step back. “I didn’t know you were with someone,” he muttered.
Jinwoo laughed.
But it wasn’t friendly.
It was low, dark, warning.
“She’s not just ‘with someone,’” he said smoothly, tilting his head. “She’s with me.”
The man swallowed hard, hands raised in surrender. “I—I was just talking to her—”
Jinwoo’s smile didn’t reach his eyes. “And now, you’re done.”
That was it.
The guy mumbled an awkward excuse and practically bolted in the other direction.
Jinwoo didn’t even watch him leave.
His attention was all on you.
You exhaled, giving him a look. “Jinwoo…”
His grip on your waist didn’t loosen. If anything, he pulled you in even closer, his other hand sliding to tilt your chin up.
His dark eyes flickered, searching your expression. “I don’t like it,” he admitted. “I don’t like it when someone else looks at you like that.”
You softened, fingers grazing over his chest. “Jinwoo, you don’t have to be jealous. You’re the only one I—”
“I don’t want to hear it,” he cut you off.
You blinked.
He exhaled, then leaned in until his lips were just barely brushing against yours. “I want you to show me.”
Your breath hitched.
Because that wasn’t a request.
That was a challenge.
And you had never, ever been one to back down from Jinwoo.
You exhaled softly.
Then—
You kissed him.
Slow, deep, certain.
Jinwoo inhaled sharply, but the moment he processed it, he melted into you. His hands slid to your waist, fingers gripping you just tight enough to keep you close. His lips moved against yours, slow but desperate, as if he was drinking in your reassurance, as if he needed this to believe you were his.
You pulled back just enough to whisper, “You’re the only one, Jin.”
His breath hitched.
Then, without a word, he kissed you again—fiercer this time, tilting your head up, claiming you completely.
He didn’t need to say it.
You already knew.
You were his.
And he was yours.

Prowl no💔 you come back and get us RIGHT NOW
He thinks he’s doing right
Stand Too Close Pt 15
Prowl x Reader
• You don’t even like him, so why do you feel like crying? People are giving you a wide berth and you reach up to try to do something about your hair and realize you’re crying. Tears silently sliding over your cheeks as the anger begins to build. Because he’d thrown you away without any hesitation. Gotten tired of you and discarded you. And you know you’re lying, that you’d been growing attached to him. Starting to get to know the real him under the prickly asshole veneer. Picking your way along the street to your apartment building, you realize you have no idea what happened to your keys or any of your stuff. You’d dropped it when Prowl had hit you. And that has to have been months ago. Trying to scrub the tears away with the heel of your palm, you head toward the grubby little office for the apartment building.
• Can’t make himself leave you just yet. Had gotten halfway back to the Ark before turning around and finding a dark alley on the outskirts of your city to park. It takes him longer than he’d like to get his holoform avatar stable and solid enough to interact with humans. Walking the streets in search of you, he’s aware that the other humans shy away from him. Humans walking toward him part around him even going so far as to step into the street to avoid touching him. Like they can somehow sense he’s not one of them. That he’s other.
• Turns out when you stop paying rent for months, even if it’s because you’re missing, you still get evicted. Listening in a numb fury as the lady stinking of sweet and milds at the desk tells you about how everyone assumed you’d been murdered and your body dumped out in the desert. Almost sounding disappointed that you’re alive. Your stuff is gone, too. Apparently the police had gone through your apartment looking for signs of foul play, hadn’t found any and your landlady had dumped your stuff out in front of the building as soon as she legally could.
• Turns out that it’s hard to find one human among thousands. And he almost walks past the hunched figure sitting on a street corner. Stopping in front of you, your head lifts and the tears are like a slap. “I’m going, okay?” Watches you stand and scrub at your face. Why are you on the street? And you’re upset not happy. Why didn’t you go home? “Of course, she called the cops on me.” And he reaches to catch your wrist. If he speaks up you’ll know him, but he can’t just leave you like this. This isn’t what he wanted.
• Something about the cop makes your skin prickle and you wish he’d let go, but you don’t dare fight against his grip. “I don’t have a phone. I just need to call someone,” you add, not even knowing who to call. Your family is out on the other coast. And you’d also figured out you can’t get into your bank account without an ID, so you’re broke. Homeless and defeated. Had almost walked to your workplace, but you’re sure they’ve replaced you by now and you don’t think you can take one more hit. Because this is all just the cherry on top of the abandonment sundae Prowl had served you. And the cop is just staring down at you, expression empty. Unmoved by your grief. Sucking in a breath, you go rigid when he tugs you into his body, his other hand cupping the back of your head. And cop or no cop, you panic and knee him without thinking.
