While silence is sometimes necessary to complete a project, Kaveh does not relish in it. A by product of his early fears of loneliness, Kaveh seeks desperately to keep noise going in all manner of his life. The only time he is even slightly comfortable in silence is in the presence of someone close such as Alhaitham, but even then the silence cannot last for long and Kaveh is not above starting an argument simply to hear another voice.

For a man who wears his heart so blatantly on his sleeve, Kaveh plays certain cards very close to his chest. His romantic feelings for one. This is an individual who thinks themselves unworthy of love and therefore struggles to admit to themselves, much less the other party, when feelings develop.

Sumeru has a festival to commemorate the beginning of spring which involves quite a lot of flowers and fruit and just general brightness all around. It's a festival like this one that the arts and artisans are regarded with the proper respect and reverence that Kaveh believes they deserve.
