I’ve been missin Rue a lot lately, so I’ll do them for her. 

1.Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?Rue was an only child. She was put into foster care at the age of 11, but she was never close with any of her foster siblings. One of them had actually sexually assaulted her when she was 13. 3.What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?She lost both her parents in a car crash when she was 11 so she has a hard time remembering much about them. But the memories she recalls are fond ones. She remembers being loved which is something she has never really felt since.

5.On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?Hair ties, lipstick, her blade, and a rolled up 100 dollar bill.

7.Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?Her getting stabbed comes up a lot in her nightmares. 9.Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?When she was a child her family was upper middle class, in foster care she didn’t have much, and as an adult she has plenty of money thanks to her career as an escort.11.In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?When she had first run away, and was just starting off on her own as a sex worker, she rejected a man and he stabbed her in the abdomen, trying to assault her. 13.Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?Not really.15.Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?She is, because she uses it as a distraction from thinking about her past or her future.17.What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?She had a stuffed Piglet that she carried around everywhere with her.19.What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?Rue doesn’t know how to let people in. She’s a runner. She runs from genuine affection and her own feelings. She’s only been in a serious relationship with one person and that person passed away. She has never even considered a relationship since because opening up is too painful for her now.21.If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?She will definitely blame herself. She thinks she’s cursed.23.What does your character dislike in other people?She dislikes when people are loud, pretentious, and pushy. She likes to have control so when someone tries to take that from her she instantly dislikes them.25.How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person?She isnt really quick to suspect someone, or call them out on it at least. She’s not really close to anyone so when bad things happen to her she just chalks it up to life dealing her a shitty hand.27.How does your character normally deal with confrontation?She runs. And if it’s a violent, physical confrontation she’ll use her knife that she always carries, if she feels like she has to.29.What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?Rue is in love with flowers. When she was little she just wanted to have her own flower shop so she could be surrounded by them all day. This has never came true for her, but she left that dream behind a long time ago.31.Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.When she is alone in her hotel room, in a bubble bath with a bottle of rum, cocaine in her system, and all the doors locked. 33.In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?It depends. If it were someone she cared about, she’d try to improve. If it were one of her clients she’d tell them to fuck off and that she has plenty more that like what she does just fine, lmao.35.How does your character behave around people they like?She doesn’t even remember what it feels like to like someone. But if her ship ever progresses and she develops feelings for Fault, she’d run away and tell him to go away because Rue doesn't know how to handle her feelings. She just tries to drown them out with coke and booze.37.Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?Status. She has a very popular reputation to uphold and won’t sacrifice it.39.Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?She was stung by a hornet when she was 6, but nothing happened.41.Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?Rather she worked for it or it was given to her, Rue never feels like she deserves anything positive in her life. 43.Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?No. Rue has really only ever had herself.45.What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?Rue doesn’t like to think about dying, because she has an intense fear of dying alone because of the life she lives. She wants to be close to someone deep down but she just doesn’t see it happening because she knows how self destructive she is but won’t do anything to change it.
