I really hate when people try to be the heros of life by dictating how you do and don't interact with a show and lts fans and I am very specifically talking about gravity falls.

Huge newsflash, guys. Some people don't like Mabel. Oh well. Guess what? Sometimes people don't like the main characters. You can't make one character be likable to the whole world.

A lot of Mabel hate is uncalled for, I agree, but so is going online and posting publicly that anyone with feelings against Mabel is not a real fan, is a terrible person, and all their gravity falls opinions are invalid makes you no better.

You are allowed to not agree with people, but ignoring all of their opinions makes you worse in the long run. You're putting yourself inside of an echochamber and spreading hatred

I like Mabel, but people who don't are allowed to not like her

She can be obnoxious

She can be very self centered

She's quick to cast her brother out if it means fun for her

She puts her brother down by making fun of his insecurities for her own joy

These are very valid reasons to not like a character, and no matter what arguments you may have against these points it doesn't change the fact that it can make this character unlikable to some people and that. Is. FINE.

No character is going to be likable to everyone. Get off your high horse. Stop looking to start arguments with everyone. You can talk about the extremists or talk about why you disagree with the people who don't like Mabel without acting like anyone who has an opinion that isn't your opinion doesn't deserve to be alive
