But YES! I do!

he likes wearing cozy sweaters, baggy shirts in general

he has sensory issues, mainly texture and auditory

he likes scented candles and uses various scents throughout the year

his favorite scent is pumpkin apple cider

he stims using his rays, fidgeting with his hands when anxious, and jingling the bells on his wrist

he's numbed himself to the smell of bleach and sanitizer

one of his ways of destressing is doing arts and crafts; he usually lets Dazzle join him, but sometimes he wishes to do it by himself

he does yoga with Earth (and sometimes with his cats)

he likes looking through the old I-Spy books when bored

he's ticklish on the back of his neck and sides

he's mastered the skill of crying in silence. Usually.

he will heat a blanket in the dryer to warm it up and cozy up in it

he is skilled in burrito'ing himself with said heated blanket

he also has a weighted blanket for when his anxiety is especially bad

he claims to not be very acrobatic or flexible, but when needed he'll pull off all kinds of tricks

She didn't grow that fast. In the first horror illustration, you can see that her hands are bigger than usual. She doesn't need to be big to pick him up. 😉

Hey! Was wondering if I could get your opinion on something bc the Gale brainrot has taken over. Do you think Gale can sing? And who do you think he'd sound the closest to when singing?

So we all know that the glorious, amazing, incredible Mr. Tim Downie is the voice of Gale and he does a fantastic job. But what I don’t know is if he sings?? Which would have helped immensely with answering this ask 😂

But we’ll keep the lovely Mr. Downie out of this and just focus on famous singers! For the record, I do HC that Gale can sing, and even if he’s not ‘superb’ I still feel he would perform quite well. So I’ll just go with someone whom I’ve always felt has Gale ‘voice vibes’ in some of his romance songs, and that’s Mr. Billy Joel. Particularly in this song. His singing sounds so open, earnest and vulnerable here as he shares his heart, which is just so Gale-coded to me.

The lyrics also give me Gale vibes, but I don’t take them as being hopeless/about an inevitable breakup, which I think is what Billy was going through at the time. Rather, I take them as Gale working through the idea of offering his heart to Tav, but being scared of not having his feelings returned—especially while he’s at his most vulnerable. But in the end, he does want to take the risk, and does offer Tav his heart. 💜
