HARTFORD WOLF PACK MAKE FINAL CUTS
By: Gerry Cantlon, HowlingsHARTFORD, CT - The Hartford Wolf Pack made the tough decisions and made tough cuts, sending defenseman Seth Barton, center Matej Pekar, and forward Cristiano DiGiacinto to their ECHL affiliates, the Cincinnati Cyclones. Two days ago, Pack Head Coach Kris Knoblauch had high praise for Barton while Pekar and DiGiacinto signed fan autographs at Trinity College at the Koepppel Community Center after the first period.19-year-old Maxim Barbashev, still junior eligible and cut loose from his Amateur Try-Out (ATO) deal, heads back to the QMJHL Shawinigan Cataractes. Goalie Brad Arvanitis was released from his Professional Try-Out (PTO) deal and heads to the Maine Mariners (ECHL), who open their camp along with the rest of the ECHL.Fellow 19-year-old Adam Sykora stays here because he is European and played last year in a pro league in Slovakia. These moves leave the Wolf Pack with 15 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goalies, making 25 players. There was a chance that one to three changes could happen on Monday by either trade, release, or via the waiver wire, as the Rangers had to hand in their final roster by 5 p.m. as per CBA regulations to start the NHL season.CALGARY ARENA A long-awaited plan was finalized for an $890M new arena development project along with mixed-use development for the Calgary Flames is now formally set after the team, the City of Calgary, and the province of Alberta completed a formal agreement. They are set to break ground next year with a projected opening by 2026 or 2027. The project will include the new arena of about 18,000-plus seats in downtown Calgary and will include a culture and entertainment district, including a public plaza, community ice rink, restaurants, retail, and residences. The project will entail the replacement of the Flames’ current home, the Scotiabank Saddledome. The building is known for its iconic saddle-shaped roof and role in the 1988 Winter Olympics. The Saddledome replaced the Calgary Corral, which was their first home when they relocated from Atlanta and the WHA Calgary Cowboys. The Saddledome is now 40 years old and no longer meets current NHL standards. It will be demolished once the new arena is completed. The new arena will house the NHL Flames, AHL Wranglers, WHL Hitmen, CFL Stampeders, and NLL Calgary Roughnecks. The City of Calgary will contribute $390 million toward the project, the province will chip in $240 million, and the Flames ownership, Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) will pay $260 million. The Flames will commit to the city on a 35-year lease as part of the deal.NOTES:Only one player, Drew Worrad, who is dealing with a minor undisclosed injury, is unavailable a week before he will probably be sent to Cincinnati to get game reps.Ex-Pack’s Josh Wesley and Brandon Cutler were assigned to the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) by the Colorado Eagles (AHL).Ex-Pack Simon Denis announced his retirement from hockey. He becomes the sixth ex-Pack to retire this off-season.Ex-Pack Brandon Alderson signs with the Cardiff Devils (Wales-EIHL).UCONN opened their season on the road with a non-conference meeting with Colgate University Saturday night, winning 4-2 over the Red Raiders, who ex-Pack Mike Harder coaches. On Sunday afternoon, ended in a 3-3 tie with Ethan Haider in net and sophomore Matt Wood scoring one of their three goals. On Saturday night, before an SRO crowd, the defending national champion Quinnipiac University Bobcats (ECACHL) battled a non-conference foe, the loaded Boston College Eagles, at the M&T Bank Arena. The Bobcats received a sterling performance in goal from Vinny Duplessis (BU grad transfer) but still lost the game 2-1 with nine seconds left in overtime.Easton Armstrong, the youngest son of Wolf Pack great Derek Armstrong, had a hat trick, including the 7-6 game-winner in overtime, in an early season win for the Wenatchee (WA) Wild (WHL) win over Kamloops Blazers, Pack goalie Dylan Garand’s old junior team.HARTFORD WOLF PACKHOWLINGS Read the full article

INDY Daily: Durham Mayor Steve Schewel Won't Run for Reelection
It’s Friday, May 28
The results are in and the final ballot is live for INDY Week's Best of the Triangle Readers' Poll 2021. Click here to find out who made it to the final four and vote for your favorites to win.
Good morning, readers.
Add Durham to the list of Triangle municipalities that will have a new mayor next year. Mayor Steve Schewel announced yesterday he's declining to run for the top seat in city government again after serving two terms in office.
Schewel, who is the founder of INDY Week way back when it was the North Carolina Independent, says he will step aside to spend time with his family, including a new granddaughter on the way. Schewel praised Durham city manager Wanda Page and says the city is in good hands under her leadership.
As well as newspaper publisher, mayor, and soon-to-be grandfather, Schewel served on the Durham County school board beginning in 2004 and on the Durham City Council since 2013, before he was elected mayor.
"I have struggled mightily with this decision because it is such a great honor to serve as mayor of this amazing city and its people, and I have enjoyed it immensely," Schewel said at a press conference outside Durham City Hall yesterday.
With six months left in his term, Schewel says he wants to focus on passing a budget, addressing vaccine equity among Black and Latinx residents, gun violence, affordable housing, and the community's responsibilities on climate and energy.
Durham's election for a new mayor and three city council members takes place in November. Retired judge and former law school dean Elaine O'Neal announced in January that she will run for the seat.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Wake County's school board is proposing several changes to its policy governing School Resource Officers' (SROs) interactions with students including new rules that would limit when SROs get involved with conflicts and how much force they can use on students. The proposed changes appeared in a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the board and local law enforcement agencies. The board is taking comment from the public on the proposed changes until Tuesday.

Book Launch: "Kwame Brathwaite: Black Is Beautiful"
Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture Harlem USA May 14, 2019
An SRO full house came out for the New York City book launch and signing of Kwame Brathwaite's Black Is Beautiful (Aperture), featuring the photography that helped popularize the slogan “Black Is Beautiful.” The book is available ($40) at the Schomburg gift shop and online.
Brathwaite Sr.and his older brother, Elombe Brath, in the late 50's and early 60’s, did their part to spread this idea through Brathwaite’s writings and photographs, as well as the activities of the two organizations they helped co-found: AJASS (1956) and the Grandassa Models (1962). Grandassa Models was founded to challenge white beauty standards. This monograph — the first ever dedicated to Brathwaite’s remarkable career—tells the story of a key, but under-recognized, figure of the second Harlem Renaissance.
The launch event featured a conversation with Kwame S. Brathwaite (Jr.), Archive Director; Tanisha C. Ford, author and historian; former Grandassa Model Eunice Townsend; and was moderated by Kimberly R. Drew, art curator, writer and social activist. Many of Harlem's well-known photographers came out for the event, and took many photos of each other. One iconic photographer did not bring his camera, because of the rain. Bad call.
Attendees were encouraged to recreate looks and hair styles that pay homage to the "Naturally" fashion shows and cultural celebrations that are also reverberating in the current vernacular of Black style and culture. A fair number did.

Maywood Park Racetrack
One of my lifetime landmarks is disappearing with a wrecking ball take-down of Maywood Park Racetrack. Located less than five miles from where I grew up on Chicago’s far west side, it was always an iconic figure to me, even though I never set foot in the facility. There was a radio jingle when I was a kid that went, “Let’s all go to Maywood Park, North Avenue and River Rooooooad!” It was really at the southwest corner of North Ave. and First Ave., with River Road branching off of First Avenue just a bit to the north. But I guess River Road worked better for the jingle. That corner was a microcosm of post-World War II Americana. On the northwest corner was Kiddieland, a beautiful little amusement park that we worshipped as kids. Fortunately, it was still opened while my kids were growing up. (Kiddieland closed in 2009 and there is now a Costco on the property.) On the southeast corner, there was a small carnival-like amusement park with a giant slide and batting cages. The northeast corner, abutting the Des Plaines River, is forest preserve.
Maywood Park opened in 1946 and was used for harness racing of standardbred horses. It had a small one-half mile oval track. Although I had never been inside the facility, as a kid, it always fascinated me with it’s enclosed grandstand and bright floodlights at night. The family that owned Maywood Park also owned Balmoral Park in south suburban Crete. They were finding it difficult to sustain the business as interest in horse racing, particularly harness racing, has waned significantly with younger generations. When video gambling was legalized in Illinois a few years ago, allowing for slot machines in bars and mini storefront casinos, revenues at Maywood diminished further. Another factor was “pay to play.” According to the Chicago Tribune:
By 2012, video gaming machines at bars, restaurants and truck stops were legalized in Illinois, cutting deeper into harness racing's popularity. But the ultimate undoing of harness racing in the Chicago area is tied to an alleged "pay-to-play" scheme that involved campaign contributions to now-imprisoned Gov. Rod Blagojevich for legislation benefiting the racetracks. The U.S. Court of Appeals in 2014 ordered the racetracks to pay several local casinos $77.8 million in restitution. Balmoral and Maywood sought bankruptcy protection. A court later sharply reduced the judgment, but the racetracks were already on the way out. Races were conducted in 2015, but the Illinois Racing Board denied requests for 2016 dates and the tracks were forced out of business.
That was the death knell for Maywood Park as they could no longer compete for the available gambling dollars. The family closed the facility and sold the property. It will be developed into industrial buildings and a shopping center.
I am an infrequent visitor to race tracks, maybe once every two years during my adult life. This is a brief history of other Chicago area race tracks that are familiar to me:
Balmoral Park – Crete, IL
A harness racing track and owned by the same family as Maywood Park, it fell victim to the same circumstances as Maywood Park. However, it was purchased and repurposed as a horse “show” facility featuring show jumping and show hunting competition. I have never been to Balmoral Park.
Arlington Park – Arlington Heights, IL
This is the track I have been to the most. It is a beautiful facility for thoroughbred racing. It is open May through September. They have a myriad of promotions and special events including live music and they have family days on the last Sunday of each month. A day at Arlington is always a fun summer outing. Although Arlington Park has been around since 1927, a fire burned down the clubhouse and grandstand in 1985. The facility was rebuilt and has a much more modern and cleaner look than other area racetracks.
Hawthorne Race Course – Cicero, IL
I’ve been to this track four or five times. Located on Chicago’s southwest side, it has an older, grittier feel to it as compared to Arlington. Like Arlington, the grandstand was destroyed by fire in 1978. So the new grandstand is not much older than the new Arlington grandstand, but still feels much older. Over the years, this track has featured both thoroughbred racing and standardbred harness racing. I have only been there for thoroughbred racing. What I do like about this track is that it is open year-round. It is fun to attend during the cold weather months as it gives you a little taste of an outdoor sport during an otherwise non-outdoor season.
Sportman’s Park – Cicero, IL
Located across the street from Hawthorne Race Track, Sportman’s operated jointly with Hawthorne back in the heyday of horseracing. I was never in Sportman’s, but I remember being able to see it from the grandstand building at Hawthorne. In 1999, it was converted to an auto racetrack, and renamed Chicago Motor Speedway at Sportsman’s Park. However, it was short-lived as a motor speedway. In 2001, the Chicagoland Speedway opened in Joliet and all the major races moved there. By 2003, the old facility closed and was later demolished.
Washington Park Race Track – Homewood, IL
This track first opened in 1884 in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood, across the street from it’s namesake Washington Park at 61st Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. In 1926, it moved to south suburban Homewood, IL. I was at this track once, but not for horse racing. On the Bicentennial day of July 4, 1976, I was there for a concert seeing Jefferson Starship and The Marshall Tucker Band. I took my little sister Peggy. She was 15 at the time and it was her first concert. We had great seats, just a few rows back from the stage. (That was back in the day when SRO general admission shows were rare.) Seven months later, on February 5, 1977, Washington Park burned down and was never rebuilt.

Blog #7: ASPIRE Event
The ASPIRE community event that I participated in was a place-based learning experience in San Francisco’s Chinatown which was directed by Professor Francis Wong. This tour was very informative and has really widened my appreciation for my own culture as well as opening my eyes to different career opportunities that exist within this historically rich neighborhood.
San Francisco’s iconic Dragon Gate entrance located on the intersection of Bush Street and Grant Avenue.
This walking tour began at the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum, a museum that sets out to explore and teach the Chinese immigrant experience in the U.S. through photos and interactive exhibits.
We then continued to the Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC), a non-profit organization aimed towards enhancing the quality of lives for Chinatown’s residents. Once there, we heard from one of their senior planners, Erika Gee. Erika explained the significance of the CCDC and how the work they engage in (housing development, property management, fiscal planning, etc.) contributes to the high levels of support Chinatown residents are provided with.
Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC) logo.
I had no idea that this non-profit organization existed prior to this tour; however, I gained valuable insight into the important things that they accomplish. While walking by the Willie Woo Playground prior to meeting the group, I was shocked that it seemed to be in the process of being torn down. I was saddened as this was a landmark in Chinatown that I knew well from my childhood years as well as reading about its history in the memoir Chinese Playground by Bill Lee. I was genuinely pleased to hear from our CCDC presenter that the renovation was happening not to replace the site, but to make both the playground and clubhouse a better and more accessible area for all members of the community. A neat thing that I heard the CCDC currently working on is attempting to negotiate with a nearby developer as the other project’s construction plans are anticipated to overshadow the playground in the winter months. Although this overshadowing would be minutes per day, I liked that the presenter said that they are still fighting to avoid this happening as it would make a great impact to the users as they utilize the playground to escape the surrounding small and cramped living conditions (SROs) they reside in.
A photograph showing a cramped Chinatown SRO. It is not uncommon for several individuals to live in this small space together.
I was surprised to learn that the average median income in Chinatown is $23k, which only makes the work that CCDC does (like providing housing for low income folks) tenfold more important as they fight to retain the original occupants of Chinatown thus retaining the culture as well. For reference, a 2018 CNBC report states that the Department of Housing and Urban Development qualifies a San Francisco metro area family of four bringing in $117,400 a year as “low income”.
Read more: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/28/families-earning-117000-qualify-as-low-income-in-san-francisco.html
We continued the tour through the streets of Chinatown and eventually ended up at one of Chinatown’s most iconic places, Portsmouth Square. Here, Professor Wong explained that this place is commonly known as the “living room” of Chinatown as residents of all ages congregate together, for example: old men playing cards, young children sitting on the benches eating dim sum, and men and women pf all ages exercising in groups.
Portsmouth Square, located in San Francisco’s Chinatown.
The event’s intended audience was Professor Wong’s AAS 323 course, Chinese American Identities. As his instructional assistant, I was given the opportunity to organize this event and present it to my peers as a great opportunity to become more aware and exposed to one of San Francisco’s strongest ethnic enclaves. The purpose of this event was not only for exposure to one of San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods, but for my Chinese-American peers and I to become closer to our culture through experiencing the food, mingling with the residents, and touring museums that gave us a better appreciation for our ancestors and their struggles which has contributed to the lives we lead today. San Francisco’s Chinatown is such a great local community for us to learn more about our culture, but oftentimes we take it for granted. This opportunity not only placed us in Chinatown, but we were able to have Professor Wong as an experienced guide who has worked in Chinatown for over 30 years.
I would definitely recommend this tour to my classmates, friends, and family members. All of my peers who attended the tour I was on shared that they had a really great time and didn’t know that Chinatown had so much to offer to individuals of all ethnic backgrounds.

8 Tips To See Broadway Shows Without Going Broke
Theater doesn't have to be crazy expensive. Louis Peitzman - November 15, 2016, BuzzFeed News Reporter
Whether you're visiting New York or you live here full-time, this is your guide to seeing more theater. No, there isn't a secret trick to instantly acquiring affordable tickets to Hamilton, but that doesn't mean you should give up on seeing it or any number of the great shows currently on and off Broadway. If you've ever wondered how some of your friends manage to see everything without going totally broke, they're either preposterously wealthy or they employ the following methods to acquire tickets that won't break the bank. So, check out the listings of current Broadway and off-Broadway shows — or prepare for something down the line with Playbill's guide to what's coming on the Great White Way or beyond — and then get to saving.

So, check out the listings of current Broadway and off-Broadway shows — or prepare for something down the line with Playbill's guide to what's coming on the Great White Way or beyond — and then get to saving.
1. Buy rush tickets. Rush tickets are sold day of and you have to be willing to stand (or sit) in line, but they offer some of the best seats at the lowest prices. It's pretty simple: You just go to the box office of the theater for the show you want to see when it opens (usually 10 a.m., but contact the box office in advance to be sure) and buy one of the limited discounted tickets available for that day's performance. The bad news is you won't be the only person to have this brilliant idea, so you're going to want to show up early to ensure you snag one. When Rent — which introduced the concept of rush tickets — was at the height of its popularity, people camped out on the street. Those tickets were $20, and you're unlikely to find anything that inexpensive now, but most rush tickets are in the $30 to $40 range. (Be advised that some shows do student rush only, which means you actually need to be a student. And if that's you, bring your ID!) 2. Buy SRO tickets. SRO stands for "standing room only," so ask yourself: Am I willing to stand for upwards of two and a half hours? If you are, congratulations, SRO may be the best option for you! These tickets tend to be slightly cheaper than rush, though different shows have different policies (and many don't do SRO at all, so be sure to call the box office in advance). The catch here is that, for the most part, SRO tickets are only sold if the show is totally sold out. (Otherwise they want you to just buy a normal ticket.) You are often limited to one SRO ticket per person, so again, check the individual show's policy. 3. Enter lotteries. If you've entered and lost the Hamilton lottery 200 times in a row, you a) are not alone, and b) probably have a skewed view of how hard it is to win a Broadway lottery. Naturally, it depends on the show and how popular it is — and if you can enter online, because people are a lot more likely to do something that doesn't require actually showing up. Some shows only let you enter the lottery on the day of, while others will let you submit for several dates at once. These tickets are also in the $30 to $40 range, and they're even more of a crapshoot than rush. However, many shows will offer you discount tickets if you don't win the lottery, so you could still be getting a reasonable deal. Plus, the thrill of winning undercuts the fact that, even with a discount, you're throwing down a not insignificant $80 for a pair of tickets. There are a bunch of sites you should have in your rotation for the most up-to-date information on rush tickets, SRO tickets, lotteries, and other discount opportunities. Broadway for Broke People easily has the best name, and it's comprehensive. Playbill also keeps a regularly updated list of rush and lottery policies for current shows, both on Broadway and off. But you should still contact individual theaters before showing up at the box office, just in case they've recently switched things up. 5. Visit a TKTS booth. TKTS is a New York City institution. If you've ever seen a large group of tourists lining up in the center of Times Square (on the corner of 47th Street and 7th Avenue), there's a good chance it was for the thrill of buying half-price tickets at TKTS (though it could have been for a photo with budget Dora the Explorer). You have to show up in person and wait in line to get a ticket via TKTS, and discounts are only for shows that day. Tickets are up to 50% off, which means you might have to settle for, like, 35% off. There are actually three TKTS booths besides the iconic one in Times Square — in South Street Seaport, downtown Brooklyn, and a pop-up through Jan. 28 at Lincoln Center. While you can't know ahead of time what will be available on the day you go, you can check the website or the app before you head over to see what they're currently offering and plan accordingly. 6. Join TDF. TKTS is a service of the Theatre Development Fund, or TDF. You can actually become a TDF member if you're eligible, and for a very reasonable $34 annual fee, you have access to serious discounts: Tickets range from $9 to $47. The catch is, you have to prove your eligibility. Students, teachers, freelancers, union members, recent graduates, and professional artists all qualify, but there are other ways in — check the site for a full list of who can apply for membership. Even before submitting proof, you'll have access to an overwhelming number of discount tickets to start snagging. TKTS is a service of the Theatre Development Fund, or TDF. 7. Join Hiptix, LincTix, and more. If you're under 35, you can join Hiptix and LincTix, both of which offer very affordable tickets to shows at their respective theaters. Hiptix is Roundabout's discount ticket program: Tickets to any Roundabout production can be purchased for $25, and while they're generally in the mezzanine, you can pay a little extra to upgrade to orchestra seats. LincTix is a program for Lincoln Center Theater shows and will get you into any of their productions for $32. Both are free to join, and you can secure your discount seats right away. There are similar programs hosted by various other theaters. Manhattan Theatre Club, for example, has a 30 Under 30 program that will get you into any of their shows for $30, provided you are — you guessed it — under 30. Check out individual theater sites to find out about comparable opportunities. 8. Download TodayTix. The TodayTix app is your friend (specifically your friend who has the hookup on cheap tickets). TodayTix offers heavily discounted rates, but it also has lotteries you can enter and rush tickets. For rush tickets, you have to tweet or Facebook a link to the app, but a little promo is a small price to pay for major savings. (You can also increase your likelihood of winning the TodayTix lotteries by sharing that you entered, which is an only mildly annoying trend you may have noticed on social media.) Let's be real, the best thing about TodayTix is that it doesn't require leaving your apartment — until your show, that is.

Astra vs Ocean wp
Do you want to know which WordPress theme is the best for free? Well, in this piece, you'll find out for yourself. I'll compare the astra theme to the ocean WP stuff in this blog article. Aside from that, I'll discuss the premium versions of both themes. So let's get this party started.
Let me state right away that I believe the Astra and Ocean WP themes are the best free themes available for use on this website. So, if you're looking for a free theme, those two are your best bets. They both have incredible ability, but there are some distinctions. And I'll discuss both of them in this post.
So, first and foremost, let's talk about Astra's free version and ocean WP. Then I'll go over premium packages and show you the advantages of both premium packages. I'm currently working on tutorials for everything I mentioned in this video. With the Astra Vs ocean WP theme, you may learn how to evaluate websites from A to Z.
So, without further ado, let's get started. What I've accomplished. I made two identical websites, one using the Astra theme and the other using the Ocean WP theme. The top of the video will look like this when I show you the Astra theme. And the top appears like this when I use the ocean WP theme.
I have a homepage with five rationale block posts and a sidebar on this website. Let me show you both of them at the same time. The SRO theme and the ocean WP theme each have their own blog article. I also use a WooCommerce shop on each of my websites. So, as you can see, the content is the same, but the method it is presented is different.
We'll start by looking at the customization options for both themes. You can upload your logo in both standard and retina versions with both themes. With the SRO theme, you may scale it to fit your needs, and you also have the option of adding text below or after your logo. The Astra theme offers a few choices after it has gone through the Heather display.
The logo and menu can be stacked on top of each other, or the logo can be placed on the right, in the middle, or on the left where the ocean WP theme has more cells, minimal, transparent top menu, full screen centre, medium. Vertical resizing of a custom header. With both themes, Heather is simple. You can edit the headline to make a joke with some form of logo, with the women on the left and the men on the right.
Even if you have a massive display. Both themes allow you to have a bottom border, and the SRO theme allows you to customise the size of the border. There is only one background colour that can be used, and that is white. With a WordPress theme based on the water. You can change the colour of your backdrop or place an image or video in the Heather's background.
You may have social icons in your main menu and modify the order of WooCommerce, Garth search icon, and social icons in the B theme's ocean. With the SRO theme, you can also modify the bending of the menu; there are additional options when it comes to the sub menu, such as changing the border colour and thickness.
There are less options in the Sr thing with the ocean WP thing, and the size of the logo on the smartphone adapts automatically. That appeals to me. The ocean WordPress theme was created by us. This is not the case with the Sr theme's free version. Within the ocean WP stuff, there is no upper bar. Both themes have a thought bar in the free version.
You still don't have a stick. As a result, our stays were at the top of the list as you scrolled down. Both of these things can be used to modify the breadth of the container. You can play around with layout and come up with a lovely design for our blog page. What I appreciate about the ocean WP theme is that there is a small space between all of the block posts, which is not available in the free version of SRO.
I also think the bedding in the ocean WP theme looks a little nicer, but that could just be my personal choice. Within the context of the SRO concept. For the container, there are more options. All static pages, in comparison to block pages and blog entries, have a different layout. Both topics are present.
As a result, you can customise the sidebar for various types of sites. What I like about the ocean WP theme is that it includes a Facebook live box, Instagram widgets, and an Estrada-powered Twitter widget. You must obtain those plugins on your own. I'd prefer have those plugins included into the theme because I know they'll perform flawlessly.
With a little something. In both themes, you may customise what you want to show on the block page, such as the featured image, title, metadata, and so on. In both themes, you can also adjust the order. Within the SRO theme, you can change the view to a grid, modify the number of width columns, and even change the grid style to masonry, which I really like.
You can only accomplish this if you have the premium edition of the app. Individual blog postings are also available here, as as information on the ocean. WP has a lot more features. You can even make a page with Heather with a Fugit amen as a background and a breath grump as a title, and then tweak it. What's more, you can change the size of the titles and Heathers in both themes.
You may also alter the colour of individual Heathers in the ocean WP theme, for example, H two or H three with the Sri, but you'll need to utilise custom CSS. In those witches, you can only have zero or four widgets in the food or off the SRR theme. You can fill in as much information as you want, as seen above.
When it comes to the ocean WP theme, you have the option of selecting the number of widgets that are requested. You'd want to use WooCommerce. Within the SRR item, you may change the image size. That is a fantastic option. It can offer your web business a beautiful masonry impression. This is what my website looks like when I don't utilise Astra.
This item would be just underneath this item if I used Sr with this option. As you can see, you can take the web shop page even further with the ocean WP theme than you can with the Astra theme. Within the SRF theme, you can only deactivate the breadcrumb on the product page within the ocean WP theme, you can alter the size of the add to cart button, and you even have a floating bar when it comes to the product page.
When you get to the Naval shoe, scroll down to buy it. When it comes to Elementor, both themes operate like a charm, with approa being extra free on steroids. There are no longer limitations with estro pro; you can change the colours of Heather, the fooder, the block, or your WooCommerce website.
The same may be said of typography. You have complete control over the technical aspects of your website. Our website allows you to adjust the bedding and margin. Within the block pages, there are a slew of possibilities. You can change the view of the block posts at a future date and further configure it in the future image. You can change the settings on your phone.
You may even add a second heading, Heather. Heather was your name. You can make the Heather transparent above or below your current Heather. It's possible to make it sticky. You can add a mega menu or show elements you've created using an element or, which will appear in your menu like this. Elementor allows you to design bespoke headers and footers.
You can make a four-of-a-kind page as well as hooks. That implies you can add a segment to any location you desire. The new website will only be visible to members or on specific pages when they are logged in. You have a lot of control over death. For example, on the shop page, you may display a top bar with a coupon code or social sharing features underneath each blog article.
There's a lot you can do with it. The same may be said for the dining area. It has the ability to alter the number of widgets. You can customise and add a scroll to top icon. You have a lot more control over all of the WooCommerce pages now. You can also employ a large labelling system. It also features fantastic LearnDash and Lifter LMS connectors for easy digital downloads.
You also get premium assistance, the ability to submit a ticket, and access to highly clear documentation with the Sr small agency bundle, which includes all of the SRR pro features as well as 50+ ready-made websites that you can import with a few clicks. And make adjustments based on your preferences. It will save you a considerable amount of time.
You can also obtain the most effective portfolio plugin. There is currently, and you will receive the ultimate add-ons for Beaver Builder and Elementor 21 premium elements to assist you in creating an awesome website. You can purchase the Astra agency Mundo if you want the greatest Becca ears regarding Astra. You get the convert pro plugin, which is a strong conversion optimization and email billing tool for converting website visitors to subscribers and customers, as well as the Shima pro plugin, which allows you to swiftly and efficiently optimise your website for Google.
You receive a bunch of premium plugins with the ocean WP core extension mano that allow you to create a cookie. Above the footer, you'll see a call to action button. It's possible to make a full-screen website like this. We can use hooks to show different sections of the content to different groups of individuals.
Also at other locations. You may make a login pop-up on the website. With widgets, you can create a gorgeous portfolio, a website, and more. The clinging header. Here, too, we employ broad labelling. You may make a WooCommerce store. When users click the add to cart button, a pop-up appears, allowing you to add entire websites with just a few clicks.

Charles Chaplin’s “Modern Times” (1936)
“Modern Times, Charlie Chaplin’s last outing as the Little Tramp, puts the iconic character to work as a giddily inept factory employee who becomes smitten with a gorgeous gamine (Paulette Goddard). With its barrage of unforgettable gags and sly commentary on class struggle during the Great Depression, Modern Times—though made almost a decade into the talkie era and containing moments of sound (even song!)—is a timeless showcase of Chaplin’s untouchable genius as a director of silent comedy.” - The Criterion Collection.
Modern Times’ Criterion Collection page, with reviews and trailers:
https://www.criterion.com/films/27526-modern-times
“A lot of movies are said to be timeless, but somehow in their immortality they fail to draw audiences. They lead a sort of half-life in film society revivals, and turn up every now and then on the late show. They're classics, everyone agrees, but that word "classic" has become terribly cheap in relation to movies. It's applied so promiscuously that by now the only thing you can be sure of about a "film classic" is that it isn't actually in current release. One of the many remarkable things about Charlie Chaplin is that his films continue to hold up, to attract and delight audiences. Chaplin hasn't really been active in movies for 20 years, aside from "A King in New York" in 1957 and the unfortunate "A Countess from Hong Kong" five years ago. The millions of followers and fans who cheered him in his Little Tramp days are now mostly a memory; if 85 per cent of the American movie audience is under 35, as industry statistics claim, then 85 per cent of Charlie's original audience must probably be over 35. So his decision to release a series of his best films must have sometimes seemed like a risk. His name is enshrined among the greatest geniuses of film; the French have a movie magazine titled simply Charlie, and Vachel Lindsay said a long time ago, "The cinema IS Chaplin." He had proven his greatness in every possible way; but then, at 81, he decided to put some of his films on the market again and see how they fared. They are faring very well, you might say. Here in Chicago they've been booked in the Carnegie Theater, where the staff hardly knows what hit it. "Modern Times" (1936), the first of seven Chaplin programs, was SRO all weekend, and when I saw it on Sunday afternoon, the audience was just about beside itself with delight. I go to a lot of movies, and I can't remember the last time I heard a paying audience actually applaud at the end of a film. But this one did. And the talk afterward in the aisles, the lobby and in line at the parking garage was genuinely excited; maybe a lot of these people hadn't seen much Chaplin before, or were simply very happy to find that the passage of time have not diminished the man's special genius... ” - Roger Ebert.

GT Racing Organisers SRO Pledges To Notre-Dame Restoration
The iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris was seriously damaged by fire earlier this week, and it will take years before the structure is restored back to its former glory. Nevertheless, help has been pouring in from all corners of the world for restoration of the cathedral and now the SRO Motorsports Group has joined the initiative pledging $56,000 (around ₹ 39 lakh) towards the renovation.
