LOVE the Sasha lore here. Not only are her parents divorced, but they both have new, different families of their own. Do you think Sasha ever felt like the leftovers of a past life they had no interest in anymore? Like she doesn't really belong in either family? I think Sasha is the one member of the trio with the most canon evidence for having Family Trauma. I don't think her parents were abusive, but the situation is clearly tragic on her end, if her parents have new spouses and families. If they have new children. How does her stepmother feel about her? How does her stepbrother, son of her mother's boyfriend, feel about her? Is she nothing but a reminder of a previous unloved partner? No wonder she has such distate for the idea of "family". No wonder she underestimates the importance of family in Anne's life.
