I think maybe a Rito. I really their designs in BotW/TotK. Plus flying sounds more fun & convenient to me.

Of course! It'd be such a waste to have dog people with perfectly good tails and not have them reflect their emotions.

The way I see it, tail wagging is a lot like smiling or laughing, it's innate to the species, even babies know how to do it and it's meaning is the same across cultures. When it's genuine it happens instinctually, but if you really need to, you can try to force or supress it. Whether or not it's proper etiquette to wag your tail depends on the situation, it's a normal part of socialization between friends for example, but on formal surroundings you're expected to show modesty and have enough restraint to control your emotions.

I didn't expect it to be so casual? When and how did Skiddad appear in Skid's life again? Did Skid question him how he's, yk, alive?? Probably yes, and maybe Skiddad answered with a lie? Who knows, but knowing Skid being an oblivious kid and the fact that he'd missed his dad deeply for all these years, I'm not very surprised by the fact that he won't question how his dad is alive too much. He's just very happy he's alive

there was this headcanon that i Think about ALL THE TIME about how Cleo cannot regenerate her skin. so the Hermits donate theirs. except Cleo decides to make it a funny psychological horror where she chases them (hermits who consent/have almost normal body) down for sport.

shes a Hermit so OF COURSE they'll help but like god you just gonna chase us down? slowly? like a a damn horror movie? huh? okay. rude. so they trade favors and bribe her to get moved down the list.
