The League is, unsurprisingly, like a second family to her. While all the sisters and her mother back at Themyscira are most certainly loved- the divide that was made by her departure is still felt now and again. While Steve, naturally, accepted her and it did help her integrate with the outside world to an extent? She didn't feel like she truly belonged until the League.

She would lay down her life for any of them without hesitation as she knows they'd do the same for her. It's a kind of trust she feared she wouldn't feel outside of her home. The fact that they do not laud themselves as gods among the people but treat themselves as equals, like she thinks a true leader or anyone in power should, means she feels they can make good changes.

It's why she is always willing to try and expand the League, whether that is pioneering the opening of new branches and headquarters in other regions near or far- or to tutor any fresh blood that may join it. Diana treats them all like family and hopes they can trust her in much the same way. Whether it's the "big three" or the freshest of faces.
