okay i know i've already talked about it before but in light of gunk reaching the "i support hydaelyn's decision to sunder the world into 14 reflections, but not THIS boss form. what the hell" part. something that i think we need to accept and love about Momther is that Her taste is kinda bad. like this is a wise and happy and loving middle aged woman with a collection of kitschy novelty mugs. She invented the Sparkly Dog With Long Silky Golden Hair That You Have To Lovingly Braid Out Of Its Unsettling Blue Eyes. and She loved this weird ass awful Thang so much. so so much. She left it to you in Her will even. you have to take it to the intersideral dog groomer salon on a weekly basis. like She loves cute and frilly things Dhe would LOVE to put Her cat in a poofy frilly white dress absolutely covered in ribbons. like this is very much what She did to minfilia when She called her to become the word of the mother. argos makeover kinda deal. she's matching with the dog for the family picture you'll send your relatives as a christmas card. i mean just look at what ryne looks like. the only scion She ever directly (and consensually) possessed is a cute blonde-adjacent lalafell girl with blue eyes who's wearing a cat-ears hoodie. like Her taste kinda sucks. She never forced anyone to go with it though like i get the idea She would genuinely be enchanted if you loved cute lolita dresses as much as She does but would never force you to wear it if you didn't want to. but She kinda has lame and sorta bad taste. it's endearing even. my mom who loves pretty things and absurdly pink ribbons

thinking about how when Grian says "BigB treated me right" Scar's immediate counter to that is to say how he built the Jellie panda sanctuary. because he says it like it's something Grian should care about, when Grian never once thought the pandas were important, and it's just. desert duo at certain points in time manage to have the most fundamental misunderstanding of each other's thought processes. and it's not all the time, because sometimes they'll be on the exact same wavelength, and it's absolutely incredible to see, but a solid chunk of time, their trains of thought are running in complete opposite directions of each other. it's like they have different ideas of what's important, and automatically expect the other person to think that way too.

like Grian-wise, he's always thought the life series itself is the most important, especially during 3rd life where he keeps reminding Scar that he's red, that he needs to kill people, that killing people is his end and final goal. he sets up elaborate traps and plans all for Scar's sake, so that Scar can kill people, but it never was for Scar's sake, was it? he's never bothered to ask if this is what Scar wants, just assumes that Scar has the same priorities as him, is willing to go through the same methods as him to achieve those priorities. Grian's main goal has always been to survive, to win, to play the game correctly, and when Scar wasn't giving him that in double life, he went to go find a partner who would.

and on Scar's end, he goes and focuses on his sand monopoly, his llama, his bee, his Jellies. he plays the long social game, promises allyship to everyone he encounters, and although murder is always there in the back of his mind, it's never in the forefront, it's not the first action that he selects. in double life, he ignores the soulmates mechanic and chases after an allay, calls it his soulmate while Grian is literally right there, when Grian has been spending his entire episode looking for his soulmate and keeping the two of them alive. and even after Grian drags Scar off to the side and drops a stalactite on his head, Scar is still so focused on the Jellie pandas, wants to build something for them no matter how many times Grian shoots his ideas down.

and it's so crazy to me how Scar brings up the pandas in wild life like he thinks it's a winning counter argument! what is he going on about!! the two of them just completely misinterpreting each other is such a fun concept to me.

Brother with Cerebral Palsy and Mental Health Challenges Living In A Shelter After Being Illegally Evicted and Assaulted By His Landlord

Hi everyone. I am making this post again in a last ditch effort to get the support my brother so desperately needs. On approximately Nov. 27th, 2024, my brother was illegally evicted (without proper notices) for the landlord to move in a family member. When my brother started asking questions, the landlord forcibly removed him from the premises.

As it stands right now, disability is refusing to pay first and lasts on a new apartment because it hasnt been a year since he received it to move into the residence in question. This eviction has taken a toll on my brothers mental health. He has schizophrenia and severe anxiety and functions at a 10th grade level. My mom nor I can take him in because we live in rent geared to income housing and theyre extremely strict about having no more tenants than those stipulated on the lease.'
