After leaving Asgard holding onto Loki traveling through the Bifrost, appears back in your living room. Letting go of Loki, a rush of emotion taking over control, like autopilot kicked in,

"You cleared the table?" Loki whispering to you, nodding afraid to look at him after what consequences your actions had just caused.

"Darling I'm sorry I should have stayed to help you clear up, I should have defended you at dinner, I shouldn't have left you without saying anything. I truly am sorry my dear"

You didn't mean to give him the cold shoulder, you didn't mean to shut him out. You just kept thinking about poor Loki, he would never see his mother again, he was no longer welcome in his home, and it was all your doing. He also never answered your question about moving in with you. Taking his silence as a no crushed you. How could he go defend you, meet your parents everything but not want to move in with you? Nothing right now made any sense, not even your hobbit hole.

Perhaps it was a good idea for Loki not to want to move in after all he was born to be a king not to have to duck under the doorway each time he entered a room. It wasn't fair for him. He lost his mother over something you caused.

"You know I can hear your heart beating my love, I am truly sorry for what I have done. I do not however understand what is causing you to feel like this, it sounds as though it shall explode at a moment's notice. It had been quite some time since the two of you had been living together, neither of you had spoken to your parents. But the two of you have never been happier, local walks, long night talks, dinners, breakfasts and brunches, reading together, showering together, and having some exciting close romantic time. Loki had been acting strange, some nights he was gone, some days he wasn't there, and when he was his behavior was off, just after dinner the two of you were sitting watching a movie but Loki wouldn't sit at peace. His mind was distracted, elsewhere.

"What are you hiding from me Loki? Why are you sneaking around?"

"I hide nothing from you dear,"

Of course, he was hiding something, he had never acted this way before, and he had never been secretive with you once your relationship blossomed into a serious commitment. But now Loki was closing himself off from you, perhaps he was mad about losing contact with his mother after all. More than he was letting on. Possibly the time he had to think about what you had done made him mad, and resentful toward you.

"I am sorry Loki about Asgard. I truly am. I never meant for it to turn south so fast. I thought it was a good idea. I understand if you, well if you change your mind about us or me or here and not having a palace."

"You have what?"

"Yn I've been thinking a lot about us, our relationship, or current living situation."

This was it he was breaking up with you, knowing fine well what was coming. Your stomach doing flips as Loki was getting ready to end it all with you.

"Well this isn't how I planned to do this Yn" he admitted as he stood from the sofa

"Wait Loki, no stop please don't break up with me, I'm sorry I'm so sorry"

Loki knelt in front of you, pulled out a beautiful crushed velvet emerald box, opening it on one knee, revealing a stunning golden ring, diamonds wrapped all around it, "Yn my darling, when I first met you it was unusual circumstances, I

came to earth with a narrow view of mortals, and midguardians. I came to concur and control your earth, but I met you, and something inside me changed, you made me smile, and laugh, to give and experience love. You are my first thought in the morning and my last thought at night, you are my every thought in between.
