The funniest Merlin concept I've ever considered: Arthur admits to Merlin that he has feelings for him, which Merlin OBVIOUSLY takes to mean that he's been ensorcelled. He's so adamant that the idea is ridiculous that he manages to convince Arthur that he's been ensorcelled. And, since Arthur forgot everything after the last time this happened, Merlin is much less cautious around him than he would usually be and just tries everything he can to fix this. So the two of them are just running around trying to get rid of this enchantment even though Merlin can't find ANYTHING, while Arthur is having several exitensial crises at once.

you were trying to get merrin to sit still for the last couple minutes now, while your girlfriend insisted she was doing alright, yet you could clearly see the blood on her arm. 

"it's almost dried again, y/n! it'll heal by itself, don't worry!"

merrin kept trying to insist it was not a big deal, but you were having none of that! you didn't want your girlfriend's wounds to get worse if left untreated. 

"still! now sit down and let me treat your wounds or you'll sleep on the couch tonight!"

merrin's eyes widened and she looked at you surprised. you weren't usually the type for threats, but it seemed like she wouldn't get out of this one so easily. 

"alright, fine… if it'll make you happy…"

you grinned victorious as merrin finally gave in and quickly grabbed the first aid kit, before your girlfriend got to change her mind again!

Merthur at their engagement reception. Their sorta matching outfits rock. After his return, Arthur wanted to make sure to show Merlin his dedication to their love and their common future. Nothing else should come between them anymore. After centuries of waiting, Merlin didn't say yes, straight away. He took his time. But when he saw Arthur's heart sinking, Merlin decided, he didn't need to torture him any further and said yes.
