VERSE INFO: THE WOLF AMONG US / FABLES.

NOTE: i’m only familiar with the telltale game, but i am aware that the series originated from the fable comics. if i get anything wrong, please lt me know!

   THE FIRST NOVA; a fairytale that explains the night. The first Nova created the night sky in order to let nocturnal beings (animals or otherwise) live their lives without the threats of diurnal lurking about. A very ancient fable with mysterious origins, and even more mysterious current whereabouts. But what is known is that they have a child. Allister Dusk Nova, or just simply known as Ally, lives a very sheltered life, no one knows too much about them besides their title of being the child of Nova, who had vanished a few years ago. Not even they know what happened to their parent, but knows that they’ll be fine. They have to be.

   Living in one of the many apartments in Fabletown, Ally doesn’t go outside much, but does always keep some glamour on hand for “just in case”, better to be safe than to be sorry. While being extremely anxious both socially & just in general, there is a tiny bit of wit which seems to have come from The first Nova, like parent like child- though this side of them is really only ever present around those they trust.. Which isn’t that many people, to be honest.

   Considering their lonely way of living, they’d love to have a friend or two, but the idea currently doesn’t seem very realistic; everyone is on edge almost all of the time, and the last thing they need is getting on someone’s bad side. They feel like they have to keep up a good reputation just like their parent did, but even then, they aren’t sure if they knew Nova.. Did anyone truly know who they were like?

VERSE INFO: RESIDENT EVIL.

  “The Monarch” was a project created by the Umbrella Corporation in the mid 1990′s to breed hybrids that could be used as bioweapons. The Monarch was said to have originally been a human woman that was genetically altered to fit Umbrella’s standards. The project had been going well, having a litter of 7 Hybrids… Though one seemed to have been considered a runt. Rather than get rid of it (as it’d be a waste of resources), researchers had planned to do further studying on this runt, who was named as “Nova”, as the others had astronomy-themed names as well due to each hybrid having one common trait; their hair looking like the deep vast of space. They seem to possess some kind of power as well, manipulating plasma which can also be created on their person.

   Dr. Folska was in charge of looking over Nova, and had gotten attached over the couple of years of raising them, to the point where he couldn’t let Umbrella turn them into the bioweapon they were created for. With some “help” from another worker, Dr. Cherk, they managed to escape.. But it costed Dr. Folska’s life. Dr. Cherk reluctantly raised Nova for a few years, extremely bitter that his friend died because of this.. Creature. (Their childhood is pretty much the same as canon, up until “The Corey Incident”)

  Nova, after Dr. Cherk’s accidental death had decided to run away and go into hiding, learning about the world and finding out about Umbrella, and what their intentions were… Despite being created by the corporation, Nova decided to go under a new name- Ally Nova, and try to help those trying to take down Umbrella.

  They can control their physical form and powers easily, but they fear of becoming a grotesque monster just like every other project that Umbrella has worked on.

VERSE INFO: SAINTS ROW.

  Three years since “The Corey Incident”, no amount of therapy seemed to work in their favor. Ally joined the Third Street Saints at the age of 19. (Roughly around the time Saints Row The Third starts) How could someone like them even decide that? Well, in their mind- Being told all their life that they were nothing but a monster, it got to their head; if a monster is what the world wants? Then so be it.

  But it wasn’t easy for them to be cruel, not at all. If anything, they want to be more helpful than just another thug, while still helping out with tasks and being support, the thing that makes them sticks out besides their appearance was their lack of gun-use. It’s melee or even going the pacifist route. Their loyalty to the Saints is more higher than anything else, enough to be selfless. There’s also them having a crush on Kinzie but shhhh.

  During Saints Row IV; Ally is captured by Zinyak during the invasion due to them obviously not being from Earth- Or at least not this Earth. Once rescued they mostly spend their time in the vents on the ship, occasionally bugging the people they trust most (Boss, Kinzie, Matt just to name a few), and not much about them has changed besides being more closed off about their past. But.. At least they feel more inclined to use their otherworldly powers..?

NOTE: i don’t play the game, & only know a summary of season 1 of the show & will only focus on that when it comes to interacting/plots/etc.

VERSE INFO: HALF LIFE 2.

   Dimension Vagabonds are actually a very common phenomenon in strings of timelines, rifts and other definitions of universes that may cross with each other. Others warn of strings not to cross due to dangers that if unleashed may put every existence at risk- Though Ally was not warned of this until it was too late. The Hybrid finds themselves in a world similar to Earth, but worn down and in a state of being milked for its resources. Not by humanity itself but other-worldly beings known as the Combine. They’ve heard vague mentions of this group in eavesdropped conversations while under cover, and with what information they had knew an extent of what these alien dictators are capable of.

  Of course they would help rebellions with the right causes, anonymously of course with what they could gather! They’re very cautious and know not to use their Dimension Cube too much- A powerful item that if given to the wrong hands will have unforeseen consequences.

  There’s always an important figure in every universe, and this place was no exception. A man known as Gordon Freeman is said to be a savior of some kind, though no one knows where he is after the events of the Resonance Cascade, which they still need to learn what that is.

  Ally usually hides temporarily in abandoned buildings, mines and other places untouched by the Combine in order to make it harder to track them down. They have a feeling their existence is already known by someone or something, they just don’t know when they’ll strike. Always be on guard.

VERSE INFORMATON: STAR WARS.

   Allister Nova was born in a group of bounty hunters, however their parents seem to be out of the picture; whenever they asked the others, they were told that their parents were traitors- Not just for leaving the group but for abandoning their child as well. So growing up, they believed this but always wondered what ever happened to their parents. They went by a few codenames throughout their earlier bounty hunting years, but Hypernova is the one that seems to have stuck once they became an adult.

   It’s only during the Clone Wars did they really discover what the Jedi are, only ever being told they were just “nothing more than extra credits”, and after being given a bounty from, according to their group, a Sith apprentice- They found out what happened to their parents.

   They were Jedi? That could only mean that Hypernova was force sensitive, and that was a lot to mentally take in- But, they had to kill their own parents for the sake of credits and of course, not getting a bounty on their own head for turning down the offer. It clearly traumatized them, but the least they could do was take their parents lightsabers as memorabilia. They even considered learning more about the Jedi, but the timing wasn’t right- The Empire was just born, and all Jedi are set to be executed. So for the time being, they’re keeping their heritage a secret, and continue to be a bounty hunter with the family they’ve grown up with.

VERSE INFO: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG.

   Dimension Vagabonds seem to be pretty common in this timeline, so they would seem to fit in, right? Well... not exactly. Ally is a few feet taller than everyone else- And said everyone else aren’t exactly humanoids.. Mobians, they think they’re called? Colorful animal-like sentients with all kinds of powers, some more notable than others. It gets better, the surroundings were very abstract (in a good way) and some places even feel like you’re meant to explore in creative ways; something that the hybrid is very good at doing!

   They’ll visit this dimension pretty often despite sticking out like a sore thumb. From what they can understand, there’s someone constantly trying to take over the world, and one blue hedgehog & his friends are up to the task to stop this one bad egg. Never hurts to have extra helping hands, right? With Ally’s abilities at their disposal, they’ll do anything to help protect this planet, even if it isn’t their own.

   While maybe not as fast as the others, Ally has their ways of getting around- Though they have to be careful with how much they can use the Dimension Cube, especially if it ends up in the wrong hands.

VERSE INFO: MASS EFFECT.

  In a far off galaxy 500 years ago, a mostly mechanical being called NB-0914 fled their home due to unknown causes; perhaps exiled or felt unsafe in that environment, the reason may be unknown, but their plan to find a new galaxy was already set in motion. The ship they fled in was almost like a home, and with what alien technology they had created a clone of themselves (Having organs still present in their metal shell meant the DNA could be copied.), one that looks similar to when they were organic. However this clone wouldn’t be make until 480 years later.

  Why make a organic clone, you may ask? As a way to gather information about new surroundings, as it was a high probability that this new galaxy wouldn’t be too keen on metallic lifeforms- which they were correct on. Hiding in a rusted, alien ship- NB-0914 is able to receive information from this clone, who they consider their child, in a way.

  Ally is completely aware of their status as a clone and spy for NB-0914, and while they are independent of them, they still retain some memories through some kind of chip in their brain; which is also how in a way these two can communicate with each other when the hybrid clone isn’t on the ship.

  They have to play it cool, in this galaxy with plenty of life forms, scenery and technology unknown to them. It may be a bit noticeable how they act that they know things when really they need as much information as possible. Still socially anxious as ever, Ally does want to live a good life with their semi-guardian; but they need to check if this galaxy is even safe…

  If not, then 500 more years of travelling will be a pain in the side.
