The third phenomenon that I propose to your reflections appears at the same time as the "artes moriendi": it is the appearance of the corpse (in French also "transi", "charogne") in art and literature. Your human body had tons of limitations - he knew that better than anyone - so he simphatizes with you.

So expect the male to care for you and be lowkey overprotective.

Lucifer greatly trusts your fighting skills, but he does tends to watch over your fights or have someone watching and looking after you.

He fears the vatican may try to exorcise you.

They won't exorcise Satan's kids because of Mephisto, but you? You are 100% enemy ,no question asked.

You being a half demon draws a lot of attention and some of your peers despite it. It makes sense to lord Lcifer to pay attention to you, yes, but that isn't fair, is it? Shouldn't it all be about balance?

At first he gives you this extra attention to teach you how to use your powers.

He is very good and patient teacher!

He is aware that some people in the group are jealous of you and he makes sure that they understand why you are VIP - you are not just a half demon in training, you are very, very special.

Most of them won't try anything because of their leader's pleas.

He makes sure you are part in all of his plans. Your opinion is very important but he also wants you to be with him until the very end.

All in all, dating Lucifer is sweet. He loves you truly regardless of who you are.

But it also means having a pile of enemies inside and out of the organization.

The demon wants you next to him 24/7, if possible.

Even when he is in his life support - he feels safer knowing you are there next to him, as in he can protect you anytime.

Okay, you HAVE to talk to me about what you found out about Sam's DVD stuff now.

well, for the first one: Red Sonja is a comic book series about a warrior woman who’s essentially the original “chainmail-bikini clad female warrior” archetype and was inspired by Red Sonya from The Shadow Of The Vulture

To be as brief as possible, both Sonja and Sonya are redheaded female warrior archetypes. Sonja’s more of a tomboy/swashbuckler type, but Sonya herself is the original “chainmail-bikini clad female warrior” to kickstart the entire archetype. IK I linked them both for your own reading but Sonya’s backstory is just so insane to me, both in general and in the sense that this is some of Jack’s first formative medias :

“Red Sonja lives with her family in a humble house in the Western Hyrkanian steppes. When she is 21, a group of mercenaries kills her family and burns down their house. Sonja attempts to defend herself, but cannot lift her brother's sword. She is raped by the leader of the group. Answering her cry for revenge, the red goddess Scáthach appears to her and gives her incredible fighting skills, on the condition that she never lie with a man unless he defeats her in fair combat.”

Then the second one is BeastMaster/BM2,

which is basically a story about a last surviving tribesman named Dar who can magically communicate with animals and forms a found family of other last survivors on his own quest to find Kyra, his lost lover. there’s more meat and themes to this series than the Sonja one, especially in the sense of how these medias could have influenced Jack or any of his personality:

“The general story arc of the series is that the world is changing, civilization is advancing, technology is gaining ground slowly, the old orders of magic and sorcery are fading, and the world is threatened by the supernatural being Balcifer, the Dark One, played by Jeremy Callaghan. Dar is the son of King Eldar, who was destroyed by Balcifer. To defeat Balcifer Dar must locate and reunite his family, who have been turned into animals to hide them from Balcifer, in the Crystal Arc.”

(I’m sure there’s no parallels to be made whatsoever between Jack and a main hero who’s personally tied to a dark supernatural threat with the name ending in –LCIFER).

It’s also stated that despite being an action show, BM did come to have more pacifist/naturalist tones overall (probably a good indicator as to what influences Jack’s good-boy routine).

Honestly, with this knowledge in mind now, my biggest takeaway is just how much more relatable Jack’s own experience is to mine, as a formerly sheltered child whose influential medias were largely distanced from the mainstream. I can’t seem to think of a way to apply Red Sonja as an influence on Jack, so I’ll toss the ring to you if you have something!

Talvez tenha pessoas que passaram por isso. Eu não sei. Eu sei que até hoje eu odeio essas duas professoras. TIa L , de lúcifer e tia E de Endemoniada. Sabe o mais ridículo e irônico, hj as duas são crentes. TNC!

Vou te contar do que aconteceu com a tia L. Ela puxava minhas orelhas, me envergonhava na frente de todos os alunos. O mais engraçado era que era só comigo. Parecia que ela nasceu pra me odiar, aquela maldita..

O reino dela chegou ao fim, quando entrou um menino novo na sala...

Não me lembro do nome dele. Mais eu lembro da mãe dele. Era baixinha, nordestina, loira, olhos claros. Parece que a tua Lcifer, tinha problema com crianças, branca, bonitas, inteligentes... Bem ela tinha problemas 👌

Ela e o garoto tiveram uma discussão. Sabe quando a mãe ensina pro seu filho, que ele tem razão tem que se defender. Essa mãe era ela.

Enfim, ela puxou a orelha do menino e o menino avançou nela. Ela tinha um daqueles relógios, quadrados com números romanos e pulseira de "couro". Ele arrancou o relógio do pulso dela, e partiu pra cima dela, com socos e chutes, e o relógio foi de arrasta pro QDI.

Ela tinha essa fama de humilhar os alunos, sem nunca ter parido ninguém. Eu lembro do relógio no chão, e dela sair correndo pra se esconder na diretoria. E ficar chorando em desespero, dizendo que o aluno (fulando), tinha agredido ela, mas... Ela não falou que ela agrediu primeiro.

Aí chamaram a mãe dele, que escutou tudo em silêncio você acha que acabou por aqui não continua... Pensa numa raça desgraçada que era tudo uma panelinha dos infernos. Na secretaria da tia Maria.

A mãe levou o filho embora. Mas sabe aquelas mães, que ouvem os seus filhos, que dão atenção, que pergunta "meu filho o que que foi que aconteceu?". Ela se preocupou com a versão do filho dela, porque ela conhecia o filho dela. Ela sabia que ele teria motivo para ter agredido a tia Lcifer.

Quando foi na hora da saída, a gente saía tudo junto, porque como todos moravam próximos da escola. As fessoras, iam em casa almoçar e voltava para dar aula no turno da tarde. Na primeira esquina depois do colégio, a mãe do garoto, estava esperando ela passar. Quando ela passou a mulher pulou atrás dela, puxou ela pelos cabelos e começou a socar ela. Mas deu tanto nela. Rasgo uma blusa delas o peito dela pareceu, gente foi babado....

As amigas dela ficaram apavoradas, porque pensa numa força que aquela baixinha tinha. Deixouba fessoras do capiroto só o pó. Eu lembro que os ônibus passavam devagar, para ver os tapas que a mulher deu e ainda falou para ela:

"Isso é para você aprender. Primeiro você pari e bate no seu filho, e não bati nos filhos dos outros"

A justiça não veio a cavalo. A justiça veio a jato. O mundo não dá voltas. O mundo capota. Eu aprendi desde aquela época que ser mãe de verdade faz a diferença. O menino saiu da escola, ela ficou tão envergonhada e não voltou mais para dar aula. E aí entrou outra professora no lugar dela, que é o contrário dela era uma boa professora. mas eu ainda vou contar a história da tia endemoniada aguarde..

Isso aconteceu no ano de 1991. E ficou marcado na minha história. Hoje ela passa por mim, e da "A paz do Senhor". Eu quero que ela vá pra casa do caralho. Nem respondo.

they always break the chloe/maze relationship first. it really wouldn’t be hard to simply rephrase when chloe talks about them both relying on each other bc people left to say ‘hey can we talk about what We actually want from each other, not just fillers bc we both deserve better than that.’

why has no one yelled at lucifer about talking to maze more? there was one (1) moment Seasons ago about him pouring her a drink for once and there’s never going to be any follow up on that

where’s the lilith follow up?? “i tried something and it didn’t work” tried What?? did she find someone? did she have a human kid that’s maze’s human sibling???
