It's not surprising, the idea that Heidegger might not use the cafeteria they use. Jay imagines he gets whatever the office version of room service is. "The food here is bland. And -" They wince at what the current test subject, a friend named Maia, is having to endure. She notices them, so they give a little fist pump of solidarity in return. "Even the stuff Hojo makes us drink is better."
Then again, they're not picky. With a lifetime of taking medicine that all tastes like if you licked your hand after dipping it in an algae filled lake under their belt, almost nothing's inedible from a taste standpoint. "People under the plate just know how to make food taste the best."
Their mind wanders to Aerith and the lovely salads and soups she makes. If they feel up to it this weekend, they might visit her. Maybe the Leaf House kids will be around for an art lesson or two. It'll be a nice de-stresser. And it'll be a lot quieter than it is next to Heidegger.
"Have you come down here and watched us before?" Now they glance up at him, confused why he's on this floor when surely there's a war to fight every day. "Don't you have your own people to boss around?"
