@lavendaers for Maik Wen
"Wen? Do you remember me? I'm sorry I've been away long if you do remember." Tar heard from Hilo she does remember, but he needs to see and hear for himself.

"especially in my family. we really tend to prioritize our family over everything else." wen admitted, a soft chuckle falling from her lips. "well, no one died as far as you know."
"Of course, loved ones always come first" BC said with a nod. "The Renaissance one was definitely odd and sucked without technology but no one died at least. And that's good to know".

How i feel about the green bone saga characters briefly because i have nothing to do and they live in mind: (spoilers)
-Anden and Wen are my favorites they could do no wrong in my eyes they could kill me and ill be like yeah that’s the right thing to do
-Hilo im passionate about him i hate him and love him so much
-Shae and Ayt mada i respect them so much (obvs im more biased towards shae) and every interaction they have leaves me breathless and that duel top 10 moments in the saga
-Woon is my little meow meow sorry to shae but id marry him in a heartbeat he’s actually the only one in this saga that i’d want to marry
-Lan sorry to everyone who loves him but i haven’t thought about him since he died and i cried and then i moved on
-Bero the worst hate him so much but as i said before it’s so funny how he keeps escaping death like you think he’s gone and a few chapters later here comes fucking Bero
-Niko is my son Ru is my bestie Jaya is my girlfriend
-The Maik brothers i respect them nothing to say about them they were there they did their job well both death were painful and i cried
-Lott i loved his development but tbh i wanted him to become anden love interest so bad and im still bitter about it so im blaming him ofc even though i get it but no i dont want to
#waiting for mitski’s new album so i did this#should i talk about scenes that gave me panic attacks next huuumm#green bone saga#jade legacy#also i want to point out that i forgot bero’s name and i had to look it up i kept remembering him as beroto/berrito

@mvsicinthedvrk maik wen for kaul hilo
wen was on her way out, closing up her store for a couple of hours while she went out to get lunch and office supplies. she turned around after locking the door and ended up dropping her keys in surprise when she found someone standing there. "sorry, uhm.." she drew in a deep breath, trying to calm her suddenly racing heart. "if you want to look at furniture or something, i'm closed for the moment for lunch and to run some errands, but i'll be reopening in a couple of hours if you want to come back."

@mvsicinthedvrk maik wen for kaul hilo
wen wasn't sure how or why it happened. she just woke up and suddenly all of her memories were there. her whole life back home, her family, hilo, everything. it was just there as if she'd never forgotten anything at all. she had so many questions. how and why she forgot, how and why they were even there. it didn't make any sense to just randomly show up in a city that she'd never heard of in her life. at least, not until she'd shown up there with fake memories. she was happy to know that she wasn't there alone though and cringed a little as she remembered her run-ins with her husband, brother and sister-in-law. she felt ridiculous. her first priority was finding hilo and she was tempted to not even open her store today just so she could go and find him. she was trying to figure out what she could do, going through her options one by one, when she looked up and saw hilo standing just outside the door to her store. she stopped, dropping her keys once more, before she ran forward to throw her arms around his neck. tears pricked her eyes as she drew in a deep breath. "hilo... i-i remembered." she whispered, pulling back to look at him. "i remember everything. our marriage. our life. our family."

@mvsicinthedvrk hilo to wen: ❝ not one person is more important to me than you. ❞
after everything they'd been through, hearing hilo say those words had the corners of her lips turning upward. there was a part of her that wanted to tell him things that she knew he didn't know. if he didn't know about their kids, there was no way he knew about kehn or what she'd ended up doing for shae. she wanted to tell him everything, but she didn't want to disrupt the peace they'd just managed to get. "not a single one?" wen teased, the smile on her face growing as she reached out to place her hand on his cheek. "it's the same for me too. it's how it's always been since the first time we met. i knew from that very first moment."

@irresistiibles maik wen for emery anden
wen drew in a deep breath as she glanced around her small furniture store. even though it was strange to suddenly remember everything, she could get used to it. hearing the bell over the door signaling that someone was coming inside, she put on her best customer service smile. "welcome in!" she greeted them, before turning to look at them. "anden? you're here too?"

@masqce maik wen for kaul shae
wen glanced around, her eyes shifting awkwardly. she was moments away from leaving when she spotted someone with an empty chair in front of them. she hesitated for a brief moment, not sure why she didn't love the idea of sitting at the same table as this complete stranger. she walked forward though, stopping in front of the empty chair. "excuse me, would you mind if i join you? i promise not to take up your time by trying to make small talk. i just want to drink my drink and read my book."

"you should." wen nodded her head, a soft chuckle falling form her lips. "of course i would. that's just the kind of person that i am. willing to listen to anyone if they need someone to listen to them."
"I'll have to take your word for it." Niko smiled and leaned back on the chair. "You'd want to listen to the plights of someone you never met?" If only Niko remembered the truth.

"he did." wen nodded her head, the corners of her lips turned up as she thought of niko. "i don't know the full story about what happened, but i encouraged you to go and meet with lan's ex-wife and you came back with niko. he was immediately accepted into our family. i don't believe lan was aware of his existence and i'll always feel sad about that." she admitted, gaze falling to the ground. there was not a single day that went by that she hadn't felt guilty that she got to know and raise niko when lan didn't even know he existed. she was surprised by the suddenness of his embrace, but she immediately relaxed. the smile on her face widened as her own arms moved back around his neck. "i love you too." while her tone was not as fierce as his, she meant it no less. the one that had befriended her brothers, not caring about what anyone else said about them or their family. the one that hadn't cared that she was non-reactive and held now superstitions in his heart about her. she let her chin rest on his shoulder as she drew in a deep breath, breathing in his familiar scent. she wondered what it had been like for him, her not having her memories. even though it was a short time, she couldn't even begin to imagine what it would feel like to have hilo look her in the eyes without a single ounce of recognition in them. it would kill her. she spotted the mischievous look in his eyes as he pulled back and it was almost like she knew what he was going to say before he even said it. "it could take some time for us to be fully reacquainted." the glint in her eyes an answer to his own.
"Lan had a son?" Hilo replies, voice lowered in a mix of shock and awe. Did his brother know about the kid, when he was alive? Hilo sure as hell hadn't known... at least, from what he remembers, though clearly he's missing more than a small part of the whole picture. But if Lan had been gone, it was only right to make sure that his son was raised a Kaul, so no matter how it shook out in the end, Hilo's sure that he must have made a good choice to bring the child back home with him. He feels a strong burst of emotion swell in his chest at the thought-- his children, raised in alongside Lan's own flesh and blood-- his and Wen's children-- and at that moment, he can't resist the urge to pull his wife close and embrace her tightly, as though to fight anything that would dare to pull them apart. "I love you," he declares yet again, his words so passionate this time that they're nearly a growl. The greatest woman he could have ever married; he's sure she's an incredible mother, just as much as an incredible wife... and when they find their children again (because they will, he thinks--) he can't wait to see it. If she'd really been that attached to her apartment, he could have moved in with her, but the location itself doesn't matter as long as they're together again. He presses his face to the side of her hair for a second, taking in the familiar scent before pulling away with a mischievous look in his eye. "The longer you close the store, the longer we'll have to reacquaint ourselves," he says, his tone making his meaning clear.

"never say never." wen shook her head before looking up at him with a smile. "what if, one day, i drink the last of the milk and just put it back in the refrigerator? you know i would never actually do that, but in this hypothetical situation, i would so would you be annoyed with me then?" she questioned with a small tilt of her head. her brows rose at his suggestion, "go out? where are you planning on taking me?" she asked, more than a little excited at the thought.
"I don't think that'd ever happen," Hilo says easily, shrugging off even the possibility. He can't imagine Wen would ever do anything that would genuinely upset him; she never has before. She's actually been the only constant person who's never brought him trouble, or worry, beyond him being concerned that his own doings might affect her. "Sounds like a plan," he says, smiling in her direction before reaching out with one arm to take her by the waist and pull her closer. His efforts to rebuild No Peak and start to get a foot into this territory have been slow-going, but there haven't been too many obstacles so far, which has left him feeling more lighthearted than usual. "We should go out tonight." There's no reason why he shouldn't take every opportunity to take his beautiful wife out on a proper date, especially since there's no kids at home for now.
