Hey, I saw that mafia/baker au about Phoenix being mafia family member. I'm generally curious how Miles will react if he finds out about that. Like would he have that moment of 'Ah, this explains everything' because how Phoenix barely gets hurt or would he ask a lot of questions?

And Phoenix, would he treat that like it's embarrassing family secret, not realizing how well famous his mafia family is?

To answer your question, I did not fully think about the "Phoenix was part of the mafia too" at the time I was drawing the Mafia AU. It was a prompt that somebody send me and I thought that the idea was fun! But it was not my original idea for my scenario, I don't know if I would have include it in my comics in the end. So I can't really answer your question I'm sorry ! And to be honest with you, I don't remember every plot point I thought about at the time ;v; it was quite a while ago...

as for leaving jokes in the tags, since i fire off 7 posts a day and go with the shotgun approach, i usually let the populace judge which are funny. people will point to a tag by "prev"ing, or even attach my tags to the post if they like them enough. it's a big part of tumblr's culture; i'm both used to and quite fond of the wink-and-nod nature of the tagging system.

to that end, some jokes i think are clever/spend time crafting don't make much of a splash, while things i come up with lying in my bed half asleep at 6am get tons of people laughing. since my posts are primarily image-based, i typically don't want to "taint" them with my silly gags--if they're funny enough, my followers do it for me.

Hello anon!

This is not annoying at all, and is an absolutely valid question since I've been very MIA lately. I am still working on it here and there, but the inspo to write for it has honestly been fleeting.

It's a combination of life being very busy plus having Barbatos brainrot. I still think of Dabi too, and I think of my story for him which is far from finished. Maybe that's part of the issue too, the scope of the overall plot is soooo daunting, and the canon ending to BNHA left me so dissatisfied. I'm basically doing a full canon divergence from start to finish.

But it's not just Touch these days that are sitting on the back burner. Even my other multichapter fic for Barbatos hasn't been updated in months and I have soooo many WIPs piled up it's almost embarrassing. Writing in general has been difficult for me, a combination of lack of time and overall stress.

I would say that Touch is on a semi-hiatus for now. I'm not giving up on it, I'm not abandoning it, but I'm not sure when I'll have the inspo and spoons to return to it.

So I hope that answers you question? I'm sure it's not the answer you were hoping for, but it's the honest one. Thank you for checking in, and I'm so glad that you've found such comfort in something I've put my heart and soul into. I hope for both our sakes I can pick it up again one day with the same ease I had before. In the meantime, I hope you can cherish what there is so far for what it is - two people finding safety and love in each other, despite the hands that life has dealt them.
