Most people would think someone like Kat would be difficult to date yet Arlo found her to be the exact kind of woman he needed in his life. Which is why it was so easy for him to indulge in her offer to come over to her place after their second date. Just as things were heating up he found himself pulling back enough to breathe as his hands rested on her hips. "I'm really worried that if I don't leave, I'm going to fall in love with you or something. But I also think part of me would love the chance to be heartbroken by you." He bit down on his bottom lip a bit anxious yet excited to see how she would respond.

julian had the feeling that indy didn't like him very much and he couldn't for the life of him figure out why, as far as he was aware, he hadn't done anything to offend her. julian eyes widened a little as he saw she was only in a towel and he looked back to his computer screen not wanting to look at his boss's daughter in a state of undress. though it didn't really look like she cared. "and what would i be doing here that's fun?" he asked, confused, the whole house was asleep what was he supposed to do, dance around the kitchen island by himself? he didn't know why she was so 'offended' by him working, and it irritated him a little. but he didn't want to fight with his boss's daughter, that wouldn't lead to a promotion, still he couldn't help himself acting a little annoyed. "besides, the world doesn't stop turning just because i'm on vacation. something you wouldn't understand, since you're off the hook once the plane has landed." he countered, he knew she worked as a flight attendant. his eyes had returned to her, but he couldn't forget the fact that she was only in a towel. "maybe you would be more comfortable having this conversation if you were more…. dressed." julian wasn't a prude by any means, he just found it hard concentrating when his conversational partner had so much skin on display, and it irritated to admit this to himself, but indy looked good in a towel.

It took a lot to not let her eyes wander down to Ophelia's bare chest, but any resolve Camila had was starting to crumble. "Actually, I was thinking we could up the stakes." She was playing a dangerous came with her sibling's girlfriend, but something told her Ophelia didn't seem that eager to stop. "If you win the next hand, I'll take everything off. And if I win... you owe me a dance, but as you are now."

it was part of the fun, and probably why people loved coming to the tiny tots games, not only to cheer them on, but because it was a good time. watching them run the wrong way, run with the bats, catch butterflies in the outfield, there was always something happening to put a smile on their faces. ❝ it's okay, he's far from the only one running the wrong way. don't get me wrong, they'll have to learn sometime. but it's also cute, right? ❞ he asked with a smile, finally really looking up to the woman, he'd seen her before, but never really had a conversation with her. ❝ i don't think we've personally met, i'm greyson. ❞

Part of Rosalie resented the full body chill that ran through her at the sudden closeness. Lips parted to reveal a smile, though her face flushed and the want was evident in her eyes as she stared back at them. "Are you playing a game right now, or is this real?" Her hand slid between them, running down their chest to grasp a handful of fabric to keep them from slipping away. "'Cause I'm starting to get impatient."

It was getting difficult not to get annoyed at the barista. Mike would have understood if the café had been busy, but the guy seemed to be taking his sweet time making his drink, more focused on flirting with one of his coworkers than doing his job. It took a lot of self-restraint for Mike not to say something. He was already running late for his class.
After a few minutes and several glares from Mike, the barista finally finished his drink and handed it to him without a word before turning back to his coworker. Mike rolled his eyes and began making his way out. As soon as he stepped outside, he was blinded by headlights and felt himself crash into something. He fell on his ass, hearing his drink splatter over him and everything around him.
When he looked up, someone was standing over him. “Shit, I’m sorry,” the person said. Mike wasn’t sure who was to blame. He knew there was no point in trying to make his class now; he was covered in coffee, and even if he ran, he wouldn’t make it in time. // @kinciskarma

“i’m really that bored.” a small, feigned pout formed on noah’s lips. it was an entirely exaggerated gesture based on the sheer fact her text had managed to get allie to come over to her to give her the attention she obviously was looking for. “aren’t you bored?” she asked, head tilting curiously. “there’s only so much standing around talking that anyone can do, is there?”

Kirk kissed her back, pouring his affection into it. The car honk felt a little like a death knell but Kirk knew he was being overdramatic. He had her number and he would call her. "You're welcome. Get home safe baby, I'll call you soon and we'll figure it all out." He said calmly, standing in the open door and watching her leave. He waved at the car and watched it drive away. He glanced down at Sprocket and laughed. "What a night, huh Sprocket? Definitely top ten." He said, before going inside and closing the door.
"You as well." Reyna continued to pet and play with the dog. She was a sucker for animals. Especially affectionate ones. "Oh, I'm not surprised. I'm sure you have a lot of women all over you whenever you bring him somewhere. Definitely a chick magnet." She knew she would be one of them. Whenever she had seen a cute dog, she would always stop and ask if she could pet them. "Yeah. Maybe we can. We'll see if our schedules match up." When hearing the honk of her friend's car, Reyna gave the dog a quick kiss on the head before standing up. She leaned up on her tippy toes and gave Kirk a kiss on the cheek. "That's her. I should head out. Thank you again for everything. Text me or call me whenever you want and we will figure something out." Offering him a smile, she grabbed her bag and headed towards the door. "It was really nice meeting you and spending this time with you. I'll talk to you soon." She gave him a quick wave before exiting the house and running to get into her friend's car.

"So I was thinking," Arlo started turning over to face Kat in their shared bed. "Right before you so lovingly professed your love for me last night..." he smiled as he reached to brush his hand over the back of her thigh. "I had mentioned something about us possibly one day raising children together. Now I wanted to see what were your thoughts on that? Not a deal breaker for me by the way. Although I think I would make one hell of a father some day." He smiles lightly pecking her lips as he awaited her response.

It was just like the two of them to dive directly back into sour notes, wasn't it? With a heavy sigh, Daphne turned and gave her a look. "Gets to? I'm sorry, I didn't realize I stopped having human emotions after we broke up." As much as she wanted to just get this night over with, the last thing she needed was her mother coming over and asking why the two of them were at each other's throats. She needed this to be believable. "I'm just as frustrated as you are. It's not my fault my family is a bunch of upper crust assholes." It was, however, her fault she didn't stand up to them. But Kat knew them by now, she understood the dynamic, right? "We'll head straight to the bar then, okay? And can you at least try and look like you're happy to be here with me." Sighing, she held her hand out for Kat, wondering if she'd actually take it to walk in there together.

it was your average saturday night at the garage - packed full of people, most being locals. some out of towners were present, including the one that hudson had just been dancing with. after a few songs he had decided he needed a break and a beer, so he said his goodbyes and went behind the bar. he sees a familiar brunette and grins, but isn't greeted with the same response. "you got a stick up your ass tonight or what? come on. get happy! you get drinks on the house. not many people get that privilege." // @kinciskarma

madeline’s gaze softened further as she took in alesia’s response, her lips curving into a gentle, reassuring smile. ' of course, miss alesia. i’ll have the bath drawn to the perfect temperature, and i’ll prepare your favorite drink to accompany it.' she paused, her eyes lingering on alesia with a warmth that felt distinctly human. ' as for the massage, i am equipped with techniques specifically designed for relaxation. if you’d allow it, i’d be honored to help you unwind fully.' she tilted her head slightly, her voice a soft murmur. ' you deserve this moment of peace. '
Alesia wasn't sure how they made these things seem so... realistic. It was weird to be talking to a computer to say the least. Running her fingers through her hair, she knew that she should try and get used to Madeline since Cassie was stuck on keeping her around. "Okay... maybe a bath or a massage would be nice. And maybe a drink. Thank you, Madeline." She offered her a soft smile.

there was no one else she'd rather be here right now than with her. and it was so nice to see ellie relax, for her to enjoy this slow life as much as she did. "can't we just pretend?" she whined. "just a little bit." when she turned the question on the other woman, she smirked at her answer. "so you're saying more than ten?" she asked with a grin. the two were friends but their relationship had morphed into something else lately. they were both single so why couldn't they be friends who kissed? (amongst other things...) "why don't you join me on my chair?" she asked as she moved over just an inch. it was obvious that the two would practically have to be on top of one another, not that nora would complain. "then you can try and give me a number because i'm so curious."

"Maybe... or, I could be playing the long game." She shrugged, but Lucy really just needed a nice place for the weekend. She hadn't expected to be offered something so... nice. And it was definitely hard to ignore how her stomach did flips when the other offered that she'd be hot, but she tried to play it cool because they were in a literal fucking bed together. But she was moving her hair and it was so tempting to roll on top of her and kiss her. "Okay. Definitely a deal I can make. I'll watch tutorials on YouTube to see how to give the best massages. I'm really good at learning."
"I could walk into you sniffing my panties here... but you haven't. Let's just say that I'm a very trusting person. Of course that's bad for me, but I have a feeling that if you wanted to do anything crazy... you would have on the trip here." Ophelia pointed out with a small shrug. Her blue eyes stayed on the other, she chewed on the inside of her cheek while turning so she was on her side, now looking at the other. "Extremely cute. More hot... but we can go with cute if you want," she said with a laugh and moved her hand up to brush some of Lucy's hair away from her face. "How about I just charge you a back massage whenever I'm having a really stressful day and we will call it even?"

❝YES, WE ARE UNLESS YOU prefer a holiday-themed one.❞ Edwin wasn‘t picky. He didn‘t mind whatever movie Lily wanted to watch. He listened when she enumerated the selection of classic horror films. Everything was a good choice. ❝I‘m leaning towards The Shining, and Scream comes second,❞ he opined. ❝Just don‘t smack me when you get scared. I‘d prefer if you just cling a bit,❞ he teased. ❝I just happened to be assigned with the snacks, and I brought it all with me. It would‘ve been a different story if it was someone else who couldn‘t make it.❞ Thankfully, that wasn‘t the case. ❝Bringing books to entertain yourself isn‘t a terrible idea.❞ Rising to his feet, he stood up and faced her. ❝I got the best brands, so this should be good.❞
As soon as Lily heard his voice, she finished reading the page she was on, grabbing her bookmark before closing her book and placing it on the side table beside the couch. She adjusted herself, briefly looking over at the male and then at the television. "Are we sticking with the horror movie vibe?" She questioned before looking back at him. "We can go with classics like... Psycho, The Shinning would be fitting with the whole hotel thing, Scream," she then brought her shoulders up into a shrug. She was pretty open and laid back. She would watch pretty much anything he was wanting. "Look at you being all prepared. Meanwhile I just packed books to keep myself busy on nights like these."
