Schrift: B- The Beginning - Azrael, feeding off of negative emotions, can turn and manipulate the reishi those emotions manifest into whatever she desires, specifically used to mirror those killed by the wandenreich or those executed within the Sternritter. - Azrael's Schrift is stronger the more negative emotions are around her (fear, sadness, anger, jealousy, rage, etc.) - The manifestation of those negative emotions is highly corrosive and can burn through skin, clothes, and the ground. She keeps some of it in vials hanging off her side she can shatter for quick usage.

Volstandig: Lusus Naturae (Freak of Nature) - Lusus Naturae goes past her ability to manipulate physical reishi and goes directly into the creatures made from it. Her wings and overall Volstandig constantly dripping this physical manifestation allowing her to form, create, and attack with this the longer they stay active. - Even within this form Azrael herself can burn through or corrode everything around her to bend to her will of creation no matter what her blot touches she can destroy to create in her design and vision.

Power scale wise she's closest to Diana, able to kill her without doing so much as to lift a finger. (Diana was close to succeeding into godhood but she was unable to finish her research among other reasons.)

She prefers using her Schrift akin to a mage, but Azrael does know how to use other weapons. (Her main besides the Heilig Bogen, is a rapier.)

She is actually a proficient Mage, spells are her forte besides her schrift.

Personality: Narcissistic, a vain individual, and a manipulative woman. Azrael is a scorned woman from Khaenri'ah, one of the many who had beliefs in the gods and yet she was still punished for it- resulting in her bitterness towards the divinity and her sworn vow to destroy them. Azrael is indeed a VERY talented Actress, able to weasel her way back into the lives of her former best friend's family without even tipping off to them she is only there to get what "belongs" to her (Diana's Grimoire). She is a rather smart individual who could and would experiment on anyone close to her or to her former friend, even cursing them to a point to make a jab at them even after her former friends were long deceased. Azrael, deep down, is a vile woman who has cursed the gods and the archons for her situation, for not helping Khaenri'ah, for leaving all of them to die- and her goals are to kill them and hurt them just like they did to the nation of Khaenri'ah. To make them feel as helpless as the citizens were and she will kill, maim, curse, torture, and deform anyone who gets in her way.

Name: Azrael Suliman Alias: Witch of the Wastes Age: 42 Height: 5'6" World: Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion Affiliations: Azrael's Coven (Leader; Aligned with Darkness)

Personality: Cunning, Intelligent and always pushing the limits on what is deemed inhumane- Azrael is a VERY manipulative woman hailing from Twilight town, now living in Radiant Garden. She's a woman hellbent on science and science alone despite her prowess in Magic which leads to her unethical experiments on the races in all the worlds Kingdom hearts has to offer. Azrael can come across as overbearing and nosey to a lot of people who don't know her true motives but she's simply playing the part she crafted for herself in order to get close to what she wants. And outside of her cunning personality, when pushed to her limits, Azrael truly loses her composure, becoming erratic yet remaining incredibly smart despite the ruthlessness that seeps through her actions.

Abilities: Darkness Manipulation- (Azrael can liquify and manipulate the heartless & the darkness they come from to her heart's desires) Reanimation- (Azrael's knowledge has brought her the ability to reanimate a heartless even without it's heart just as liquified Darkness.) Creation- (Azrael can create lives from her magic, and a few simple objects (Like Paint, ink, darkness, etc.) Magic- (Azrael is a VERY skilled Mage, having learned under Lettie's mother for a time before they stopped talking.)

OTHER: - Azrael met Lettie's mother Diana while she was traveling the different worlds of KH, the two forming a friendship and traveling together. Azrael, in this time, began learning magic from Diana and started to put her on a pedestal the longer they spent time together. - When Diana broke off their friendship once she knew what she was using her lessons for and fearing for the lives of her children & Husband, Azrael was practically seeing red, clearly not understanding exactly WHY she cut her off. - Sometime during their separation, Azrael became fixated on Diana's Grimoire full of her personal spells, potions, and research- leading her to put her former friend's life on the line and in danger. Ultimately once her youngest, Lettie, was born- Diana ended up leaving in order to drive Azrael away from her family (ultimately resulting in Diana's death by Azrael's hand.) - After Diana's death, Azrael returned to the lives of her daughters & Husband, acting as if she hadn't done anything wrong and as if she was ultimately crushed by the passing of her friend and teacher. When in reality she was only there to get close to them so she could have what she wanted. - Further down the line towards current events (possibly KH1), Azrael ended up cursing Lettie (Diana's youngest) as a way of telling Diana from the grave that she knows where her children are and where her research is. Even if Lettie didn't have it, she'd never stop hunting them down until she got that grimoire...

no because Azrael's deep-seated jealousy and NEED to BE what Diana was didn't come up until Diana met Richard. Because if she didn't, she'd be content with leaving well enough alone but she had to press the boundaries of nature to what she could do and ultimately it drove her to wanting EVERYTHING Diana worked towards- she wanted her research, she WANTED her power, she WANTED to be everything Diana was and she was not. It's why she created her child from a corpse (He subsequently passed) but when Diana officially cut ties with her that's when she wanted to take everything from her- she was trying SO hard to keep her attention and her guidance that she finally threw her hands up and said 'if I can't have you or your knowledge NO ONE can.' Which resulted in Diana having to run from her family, her CHILDREN, to protect them...even if she died, and she only died because she didn't have what Azrael wanted with her [Her research, the research she burned long LONG ago...]

It did result in Azrael inserting herself into Diana's family as her daughters' aunt, pretending to love and care for the girls only to try and find what their mother kept from her. (Richard, Diana's husband, was quick to catch on and relocated the family as fast as he could...)

idk the lengths this woman will go to get what she wants on top of the dynamic with Diana has me going nuts.

Zerin ends up battling Azrael during TYBW (Cour 2 specifically), and while the results end in her victory- they both got away grievously injured due to Zerin's reckless mutual suicide attempt with a kido spell trying to end the mad witch's life. However, this left Zerin barely clinging to life, and even if she was ready to accept death, her daughter, Ame, was not. Ame used what little she could find within the wreckage of the fight and the area around them, as well as utilize the knowledge she gained, watching her mother and learning from her quietly to begin a blood transfusion from herself to Zerin.

Zerin only realized what Ame was doing far too late. Ame ended up dying in her mother's arms from blood loss in her feeble attempt to save Zerin's life or to keep her alive long enough for her to be found to get help. Ame knew Zerin wasn't the best, but she was still her mother, and in her final moments, she truly did feel loved by Zerin with how hard she fought against her to keep Ame alive...

AZRAEL & HOLLOWS

I'll give the monster's life a use!

Azrael's obsession and fascination with Hollows rolled around during her time with Diana. She saw the lengths their work could go to, to tamper with them and potentially going to such lengths as to tame them and shift their line of thinking to protect and follow commands given by a specific person. Evolution wasn't such a fickle thing in her eyes and Hollows were already the perfect candidate for shaping into whatever they desired; and if hollows were akin to poison to quincies who's to say her research couldn't bring about an antidote or cure for them to combat the hollows while also exterminating them entirely?

Azrael has ripped apart, put back together, maimed, slaughtered, and experimented on so many hollows she's lost count. However, Azrael does keep a few around that have been successfully "reprogrammed" to protect her and do what she commands- even breaking them down akin to her schrift to keep in vials at her side that she can break and release should she need extra.

She finds Hollows the pinacle of what a soul is capable of even if it's malicious, just reprogram the mind and condition it to think otherwise, and if they die? There's plenty of hollows within the world, it's not like she's run out of subjects to toy with. Where most see mindless monsters, Azrael sees potential waiting to be brought forth even if it means ripping it out of them by force.

Arrancars fascinate her as well, I wouldn't put it past her to have some under her within the wandenreich (Let her experiment on them and have them serve under his majesty, and she'll let them live.), she knows there's more to hollows than meets the eye and she will prove it- even if it takes her tearing them apart and putting them back together. Hollows, Arrancar, Menos Grande, etc- EVERY category she will dissect and reprogram just to prove that her research could go beyond what her former friend said it shouldn't.

After all what's a better love language than proving her wrong by granting a monster's life a new purpose...

knowing that Lettie goes toe to toe with Azrael during TYBW and that's how she finds out about her mother's killer. Lettie, who has gone most of her story with suspicions on who it might be, getting confirmation that her mother's (former) BEST FRIEND and THE AUNT she has been confiding in for so long killed her all for the research that was entrusted to LETTIE. And Azrael, who will only let Lettie go free (a lie) if she hands over the LAST remaining object to tell the world Diana existed. Knowing that if Lettie doesn't she can kill her just like she did her mother... Knowing full well Lettie is so blindsided and heartbroken she does almost die in this fight, granted Azrael's the reason her own confidence and self esteem is in the grave- she doesn't need it to know she can avenge her mother during their fight (and hell her sisters show up to help her too even if it's to get one or two blows in- they know it's Lettie's fight) Lettie, unexperienced in combat but learning over the course of TYBW, being as powerful as Diana when she masters her abilities- the girl who looks identical to her mother besides her eyes, being the one to take out Azrael...

BONUS: The first bout of Lettie and Azrael fighting in her OG lore, Lettie is able to strip away Azrael of her powers- I didn't kill her then and there due to it being wasted potential of a villain. So I stripped Azrael of her abilities in their OG lore, she does get them back (I have to figure that out) but it keeps her around until her proper death.

we love watching someone lose faith in the divine only to place that broken faith onto a regular person who didn't even believe in the divine, they just wanted to research the world and magic,,,, Only to get jealous of what they've accomplished and their other relationships to the point you would do anything to get their attention and worship them again.... yet this resulting in the other cutting contact all together before you finally decide to take their accomplishments and make them your own, killing the person you put your faith and obsession in to become them at any means necessary even if it means destroying their family from the inside.

Her real name is Azalea

She's from Khaenri'ah, her eyes are covered by glamour magic. They're really a gold color instead of her signature green.

She ended up wandering the abyss before meeting the Traveler's sibling & Chlotar Alberich, becoming a co-founder of the abyss order.

Back in Khaenri'ah, she was apart of a very small subsection of citizens who worshipped the Archons as one of their leaders. (godless nation or not, you know they existed.)

Azrael was 100% in love with Diana (Lettie's mother), her jealousy and obsession with her blinded her to see it.
