➫ BILL hadn't been in town very long, actually. He was taking up the rest of his required residency at a local hospital, he simply wanted to help people, and New York seemed the most desperate for nurses. His writing had been put on hold, he just couldn't find the muse yet, he figures someday he might, this year was not the year for it. Moving into the closest and overall cheapest apartment to his place of work, he had run into his new neighbor, an interesting fellow. Carrying a box, he doesn't offer his hand, just gives the guy a shrug. "I wouldn't know, landlord wasn't very forthcoming about that." Eyes dart back towards the stairwell at that, "Say, you don't happen to play your movies or music too loud, now do you?" He asks, but there's a hint of a joke in his tone, as if he's not going to be bothered by the answer, curiosity fills and takes hold of him.

At the mention of heading inside the neighbor's apartment, he sucks in a breath and nods. "Let me just.. put these down." Bill shuffles into the open door of his new place, dropping the box with a gentle thud, before following the guy into the place across the hall. He tries not to look around too much, but as he's known to be, curious. Ever curious. "I'm William, by the way, I'd prefer if you called me Bill, though. I don't think I've gotten your name?" It's a off handed comment and he's just trying to be polite, not knowing the other male's name.
