#(which you could do if you remove the stick povs) with the daylight warrior issues and the outsiders plot and. ofc.

tbh i think the biggest issues(s) with this one are partially the chapters from stick’s pov, they’re a little unnecessary when things could have been kept vague for longer, with things instead revealed to leafstar and a lot more focus instead left on skyclan (tbh the whole thing with stick and co. isnt really bad it just takes up a little too much time with the stick pov) but on the other hand the shit with sharpclaw is baffling in how there is basically no consequences for him undermining and talking over leafstar and doing major shit with his clanmates without telling her, it practically feels like the whole book is building up to leafstar inevitably (and rightfully?) confronting him about his behavior but the book just brushes it off and was like oh its fine as if he wasnt repeatedly ignoring and talking over his own leader as if he was already leader (which reads as sinister since in firestars quests its made very obvious that he really really wanted to be leader????) like god he borders on antagonistic and nothing comes of it in any satisfying way
reached skyclan’s destiny in my warrior cats reread let’s see to what extent i really enjoy and put up with just reading about clan minutiae
