we’ve mentioned some of the rules and requirements to this over HERE, but we wanted to expand a bit further so you can get a better idea of how the personal channels are set up:

depending on the muse’s NOTORIETY (at the time of this post), the writing requirements may vary slightly so please pay attention to that when planning when to write the solos/posts!

once the debuted artist has created a personal channel, they will be expected to pay any of the expenses that might be used. so if you’re planning on doing some sort of game or challenge with a guest, do note that they will be given the bare minimum especially that the selected artists are just starting their channels.

as a reminder, we discourage any prior plot calls off dash to ensure fairness and inclusivity towards everyone who might be interested in participating as a guest on the personal channels.

in terms of traveling, the debuted artist can travel to different parts of korea but most likely that will be filmed on sunday, which is the day that everyone has a day off (exception is if they’re given a holiday break like chuseok). if the debuted artist plans to do that at any time during the trimester, they will have to do all of the filming by themselves.

the length of the videos vary, but typically each video is about 10-25 minutes long with all of the editing!

like mentioned previously, the guest will NOT receive any points for replying to the thread if the personal channel owner chooses to do the thread component. in addition to this, it is encouraged that any of the HOST muns who have multiple muses should be mindful of whether they should guest in other people’s personal channels. this is because we want to consider this as an opportunity for the HOSTS to get to know their fellow colleagues and use this as a chance to thread with muses whom they might not be able to interact with on a daily basis due to their schedules.

unless mentioned in the guests restrictions, personal channel owners cannot guest on each other's channels.

NEW RULE: if you choose to do the thread component, all of the replies in that thread must have AT LEAST 50 SPOKEN WORDS.

after the deadline has passed, we’ll add on the lgc master sheet (specifically on the LGCMEDIA SCHEDULE tab) when the episodes that you’ve submitted were aired. as a reminder, the debuted artist has released more episodes than the number that was written for this trimester.

GUESTS RESTRICTIONS

for this term, there will be no other restrictions for the guest as long as they’re a debuted idol ( this includes MZSD members ), actor, or model and has NEVER been a guest on the actor/model’s personal channel.

“Whatever you say in this room could be used for the investigation. Everything you say will and could be used for the disappearance of Minseo Choi. Any false anecdotes is punishable by law. You are being recorded and filmed, do you understand?”

“Wow. Imagine that,” Wenhan’s father disrupts the family’s time together, watching some reports around the inner circle’s situations. “Choi family is literally crumbling down. Maybe we can use this time to get them.” Wenhan shows a glint of annoyance, trying to figure out if there was any other news other than the fact Minseo was in danger. Before he could make a decision to speak, the television turns off right before his eyes.

“I need you to figure out what’s going on. Put a visit maybe?” Cheng bids his son an instruction, noticing a hesitant demeanor. “Oh don’t tell me you’re actually liking that girl?”

“Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.” He speaks in a ‘matter of fact’ tone. He had always liked challenging his father when it came to matters that could and only benefit him. “But I guess Minseo was never the issue here for you, anyway, no?”

“This is for your future.”

He rolls his eyes discretely, sighing softly as he leaves his father’s study. It’s true, it was never about Wenhan and Minseo. They were just collateral in all of this. It was competition with everything.

“Right.”

“And what’s your relation to Ms.Choi?”

Changying was confused, a stupid question being thrown at her was not part of her recovery process.

“I’m her secretary— and her friend,” she furrows her brows which catches the eyes of the investigators. “I guess.”

“You guess? When an heiress is missing, everyone is a target.” They show still-shots of the camera that night just before they enter the outside premises. From the moment they entered the elevator, to the way they exited through that car lot. Not the ones where the men had come up around them. “Now, we need to know what happened before you were found.”

“After this a group of men attacked us. We were able to hold them off for a while and—“ and that’s when it clicks to her that she doesn’t remember much after. Changying tries her best for a moment, “And then I just blacked out.... I dont remember much after getting here. Forgive me.”

When the ordeal happened, Changying’s body was found in the back of the parking lot by a guard. She was recovering from an electric shock, assumed to be something stronger than a taser. The timeline was short before she reports the situation and all leads don’t point to who kidnapped Minseo.

“Has there been anything different with Ms. Choi lately?”

"Is mommy coming home soon?” Jinwoo’s voice was soft, cuddling Woori’s form as she tucks him in. From what was going on, it startles her and she was unsure of what to say.

She had offered to take care of her child as the whole situation unfolded, much to the dismay of her company. They thought that anything negative attached to ‘that side’ of her family can destroy her name. Woori knew that very well, too, but she didn’t care. The public doesn’t truly know they were related and to the wishes of everyone, it was kept a secret from her fans.

“Well... your mom had something important that came up...” Her voice was gentle, moving stray hairs away from his eyes. They looked like Minseo’s. “And... She told me that she was just gonna be gone for a little while... But don’t worry. She’ll be back soon.”

“When do you think she’ll be back?” his eyes were innocent. Puffing up his cheeks because he was upset that she didn’t come home. In his mind, Minseo was just on a trip somewhere and should call soon. Her eyes glisten, the worry over her face slowly washing over because she didn’t have an answer. Jinwoo senses something but the child was unsure of the feeling. She didn’t have an answer, no one did.

“Soon.”

“It just doesn’t sound right to me—“ Benjamin crosses his arms, the investigators were interviewing another person around Minseo at the time of the incident. She had met Benji a few hours before but it wasn’t for work. Though he was honest it was just a meet up, the way he acted sure brought a bit of suspicion. “I dont know... This is just weird to me. Noona wont just have enemies like that, unless it’s someone she already knew, you know?”

“What do you mean, Mr. Lee?”

“Well... She’s always talking about how stressful recent issues were... I mean, about work. And her family but I can’t say a lot. I promised her it was just between us but I can tell you it’s something about against her sister. ” The investigators were curious and attempts to inquire more about the issue. Benjamin refuses and just shrugs. His alibi could be used for something.

“If you want to know something, you’re gonna have to ask Uncle Jungnam about that.”

“Can you tell us about the recent changes of the company?”

“I’ve decided, after my retirement, to hand off everything to Minseo.” Jungnam speaks clearly. His hands clasp over the table as his sight was alternating between the men interviewing him. He purses his lips, seemingly worried about her for a moment. “It brought great stress, of course. As one would. It’s a lot of responsibility. There is one person I can think of that didn’t like that decision.”

"And who would that be?”

“My eldest.” He sighs, putting his eldest on the line but manages to steer the topic to make sure no fingers were pointed. “She is in China with her husband, I dont believe that she can cause harm but I spoke to her not long ago. I can give her information if you’d like.”

Before they continue, his phone rings of an unknown number, he picks up and a whimper was heard. It startled everyone in the room and thought their father was the suspect, but it wasn’t so.

“H-Hello...? Papa...? It’s Minseo...”

The Justified Fandom as a whole is very small, and not very many roleplayers write characters from it, whether from the Elmore Leonard books or Graham Yost-led show or both. Therefore, the ‘issue’ of headcanons, ships, and story/roleplay content has not been a problem for this blog with the few Justified canon character/muse Tumblr roleplay blogs that Raylan Gray has interacted with. In fact, it’s been the opposite: the few interactions we’ve had between canons and my OC have served to enrich character and story content for everyone involved.

Still, I thought to tackle this issue now and have things clarified, eliminating any possibility of an incorrect assumption or problem down the line.

ON ESTABLISHING HEADCANONS, SHIPS, AND STORY/ROLEPLAY CONTENT BETWEEN JUSTIFIED CANON CHARACTERS AND JUSTIFIED ORIGINAL CHARACTER RAYLAN GRAY.

AND VICE-VERSA...

Before I get into this topic, let me just say that it’s been a long-time coming. No character, blog, roleplayer nor situation sparked this topic. It’s simply one I’ve had in the back of my mind ever since Raylan Gray’s blog was established back in 2014 here on Tumblr. It’s taken me this long to figure out how to address this, because first I needed to figure out how this blog was going to be administered. Now that I know, for the most part, how the blog is administered, I can present this, as follows...

If your blog features a Justified canon character or even a Justified original character, who you would like to interact with Raylan Gray, then I highly recommend you read this post. And if, after reading it, you have any questions, concerns, comments, etc. - then please send me an IM, ask or submit. When sending either an ask or submit that you don’t wish published to the blog, be sure to include the word ‘private’ with your message and I’ll know to respond privately. I may, after receiving these messages, edit this post further, for purposes of clarifying what’s already here.

Two things immediately come to mind when talking about this issue/topic.

One, I don’t force headcanons, ships, and story/roleplay content. Or at the very least, I try extremely diligently not to force any of the aforementioned. Having said that, if you feel that at any point, there is some kind of forcing going on (or God-modding that you don’t approve of), let me know directly. Please don’t vague-blog/anonymous-blog about it, because I wont know if you’re referring to me or to another roleplayer; and as a result, these issues may never get resolved. They’ll only get resolved, one way or another, if you let me know directly by sending me messages either through IM, ask, or submit. At the very least, when I know about it, I will correct the problem to the best of my ability.

Two, it is Raylan Gray’s canon/headcanon that Raylan Gray himself is Raylan Givens’ descendant, and by extension the descendant of other Givens’ family members. Obviously, this is not official Justified show nor books canon, even though the Givens are key people in Gray’s story. But when we talk about any of the Givens characters here, we are only referring to those from the books and show and not the character(s) from any canon Muse blogs here on Tumblr.

Being a Justified fandom Original Character (OC), Raylan Gray has ancestral ties to canon characters in that fandom, moreso than stories directly within that fandom’s canon settings/verses. This is the reason why he is still a Justified fandom OC, even though his own original fandom canon settings/verses of the 23rd century are not Justified’s canon settings/verses of the 21st century.

Raylan Gray having ancestral ties to the fandom is not me assuming that I am shipping my OC with any of your canon muses, especially if we have first not discussed what ship aspect(s) we want to explore. The same goes for establishing any headcanons and story content between our Muses.

The only way it’s Raylan Gray’s canon/headcanon that Raylan Gray himself is a descendant of a canon Muse blog here on Tumblr is:

When such a headcanon/ship/story content has been directly discussed between me, Raylan Gray’s Mun, and that canon character’s Mun; and both Muns agree this is so, before there is interaction between their canon character and my OC on our respective blogs/the dash. In addition to the interaction, there may be other content posted about the agreement(s) both Muns have made.

The above not only applies to the Givens ancestor/Gray descendant headcanon/ship/story content, but also applies to any other agreed-upon headcanon/ship/story content between this blog and any canon character blog. This way, it is not godmodding/forcing.

Raylan Gray has his own headcanons that involve/relate to the Givens family but these only affect a Givens family member Tumblr roleplay blog if said Tumblr roleplay blog agrees to them. If there is no agreement between the Muns and the headcanon(s)/ship(s)/story content are a vital part of Raylan Gray’s character - meaning that Raylan Gray cannot be roleplayed without the(those) headcanon(s)/ship(s)/story content; or that any elimination of those will affect Raylan Gray’s characterization because without them Raylan Gray is incorrectly portrayed/written - then both Muns can opt-out of roleplaying their respective characters with each other.

Any Givens family member and Raylan Gray headcanons that do not directly identify nor mention a particular Givens family member Tumblr roleplay blog are not godmodding, because they do not directly nor indirectly involve, nor affect any Givens family member Tumblr roleplay blog. As such, there is never an assumption about any Givens family member Tumblr Muse, and much less one that creates or establishes a canon on that Muse. However, if at any time a Mun from a Givens family member Tumblr roleplay blog believes that I, the Mun from Raylan Gray’s roleplay blog, am saying certain things are true, then let’s talk about it (IM, ask or submit, all work for this).

These headcanons with Raylan Gray therefore only refer to the Givens family of characters from the books and show, and not the Givens family of characters from any canon Muse blogs here on Tumblr.

All of the above also applies to any other Justified canon character.

From time to time, this blog will reblog posts from canon muse blogs. If your canon muse blog has previously-talked-about/agreed-upon headcanons/ships/story content with my OC blog, then these posts are tagged #connections to show this. But if your canon muse blog has absolutely no previously-talked-about/agreed-upon headcanons/ships/story content with my OC blog, then these posts are tagged #out of Gray to denote they are being posted with no connection to your blog whatsoever and thus eliminate any godmodding/forcing.

The only reasons why this OC blog reblogs posts from canon character Tumblr blogs with no connections to it, are:

One, to promote that canon character blog they are reblogged from.

Two, to demonstrate parallels/connections/headcanons between my OC and that canon character, but NOT between my OC and that particular roleplay blog’s canon character.

since there is an option to invite a GUEST on the show once per trimester, this will probably be filmed during a time when BOTH the host and guest are free. generally speaking, actors and idols usually are the busiest due to their schedules followed by models and trainees so take that into consideration when thinking of who to invite. for this term the guests have been randomly assigned based on groups/paths. this means that in the latter section you will see which muse is paired up with the group/path and should you choose to have a guest, the guest must be someone from that group/path. the guest should also be someone who HASN'T made an appearance on the show before.

like mentioned previously, the guest will NOT receive any points for replying to the thread if the personal channel owner chooses to do the thread component. in addition to this, it is encouraged that any of the HOST muns who have multiple muses should be mindful of whether they should guest in other people's personal channels. this is because we want to consider this as an opportunity for the HOSTS to get to know their fellow colleagues and use this as a chance to thread with muses whom they might not be able to interact with on a daily basis due to their schedules.

for EVERYONE, no one can film or reveal any content pertaining to LGC RETREAT. since LGC RETREAT will be aired in the following term, it's expected that everyone ( both the hosts and guests ) are not allowed to reveal any information about it.
